BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the VP of Sales and Marketing at Jet Pulverizer Company, an original equipment and contract manufacturer that specializes in particle size reduction services and equipment. We target additive manufacturing, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and aeronautics industries.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MultiVision Digital Productions?
We wanted to expand our content toolkit for multi-purpose platforms.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted videos that demonstrated the depth of services, experience, and capabilities for prospective clients.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
Robert (Chief Video Content Marketing Strategist, MultiVision Digital Productions) and I met at a few trade shows and kept in touch. He was willing to work within our parameters and give us value for our money. His consultative approach and flexibility made his team the perfect choice.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
We began with a discussion of which types of video content we wanted to create, then going through what each video should highlight. We storyboarded each video, forming a Q&A portion for each. We ended up with videos for each of our divisions: contract manufacturing, original equipment manufacturing, pharmaceutical, quality, and technology.
What was your vendors’ project management or feedback process?
Their team was remarkably advising. We had frequent communication that increased as the shooting day neared. There was always a clear goal in mind.
I mainly worked with Robert and the editor. Post-production is where the magic took place. I was able to review each video and give honest and detailed feedback. MultiVision Digital Productions were happy to work with a client that showed passion for the project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within a month of upload, we received three opportunities from the video. Each of the web pages has an explanatory video to complement the content. We’re repurposing them for client meetings, trade shows, and email blasts. My team is enthused and looking forward to creating more videos with MultiVision Digital Productions.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
This project was a collaborative effort; the communications, timelines, and expectations set from both sides. We were able to bounce ideas off each other. We used Google calendars and hangouts to communicate, and post-production was handled through DropBox. It was easier for me to share the videos with internal stakeholders that way.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
MultiVision Digital Productions is consultative and flexible. Their team knows the industrial and manufacturing space. They were extremely professional and made the entire process enjoyable despite any inherent pressure for our team.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can't speak on that. From the pre- to post-production, I was never left in the dark and felt part of the process. MultiVision Digital Productions’ team is full of great allies.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the marketing executive at Tinius Olsen, a manufacturer of materials testing machines. I manage the company’s global branding and marketing strategy.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MultiVision Digital Productions?
We wanted to improve the quality of our promotional video offering for our website, events, and social media. We hired MultiVision to create videos around two machines at one of our factories and establish a process for future content updates on various media platforms.
What were your goals for this project?
The videos needed to be high quality and incorporate our new branding.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
I met them at an industry conference; the team was one of many companies to approach us with multimedia services. Following a helpful conversation, I compared them with two other vendors. MutliVision’s approach and past work fit our needs the best.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
As part of the launch campaign for the two new machines, MultiVision shot footage at our factory. They filmed our experts demonstrated the machines, and then edited the footage into two promotional videos and a series of shorter FAQ-style videos.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
The project manager had a team of three people, two of which worked on editing and production. Since our product was technical in nature, we had several rounds of feedback and revisions to obtain the desired result.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Traffic on our site and social media accounts has been very good. The sales team gave positive feedback after leveraging the videos with clients. Internally, this content set the standard for quality and professionalism for our other marketing materials.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
MultiVision was patient and accommodating; they kept us informed at every step of the process. Although the manufacturing sector can be slow-moving and technical complexities resulted in delays, their team took everything in their stride.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They combined friendly customer service with high-quality technical expertise. MultiVision appreciated that we weren’t familiar with multimedia production processes and helped us throughout the process. We received good advice and feedback at every stage, which led to great results.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Our team could have done more planning with them. We learned a lot from this project and the experience has enabled us to improve logistics going forward.

MultiVision Digital Productions filmed a series of short videos to supplement digital content. Services included shooting preparation and post-production editing. The videos are now live online.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the marketing supervisor at a CPA and business advisory firm. My responsibilities include the website, database management, maintenance, social media content conceptualization, digital media, and event planning.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire MultiVision Digital Productions?
We hired MultiVision to shoot our first education video series.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a modern look to captivate clients and stakeholders. We wanted 10–15 short videos – on accounting, auditing, and taxes – to post on our website, social media, and in our newsletter. We hoped the content would improve our site’s performance metrics, specifically average session duration, average time on page, and bounce rates.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
I met the president at an industry seminar. Although we didn’t need his services at the time, I kept in touch. I then recommended his company to our marketing director and partner when we decided to engage a vendor. We compared their proposal to another agency and chose them due to costs and past experience with accounting firms.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
Prior to filming, they conducted interview sessions to solicit the best responses from spokespeople. During the shoot, two people helped our primary contact with the camera and lighting. The editor then collaborated with both sides to create two-minute cuts for each video. Lastly, we uploaded the content to our website and on social media.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
They made helpful suggestions during post-production that eliminated unnecessary content.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Internal stakeholders responded positively. Traffic and client interactions increased after we posted the videos. Although we don’t have statistics this early, we’re optimistic about future results.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They were always responsive. The team returned items to us in a timely fashion.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their experience with the accounting firms helped optimize the final product.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No. We were extremely satisfied with MultiVision and our first project as a whole.

MultiVision created three documentary videos to promote a new product and target a fresh audience. They wrote scripts, managed production teams, and edited content.
Every video accurately and creatively portrayed the company's vision. MultiVision incorporated multiple perspectives and kept the project on schedule. The agency's transparent communication and collaborative, client-focused approach made them a trusted partner.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Altan Robotech aims to bring consumer robots to the market. Our first project is a toilet-cleaning robot designed for a new market. Our robots will be more humanlike than typical robotic vacuum cleaners in appearance and operation. They could potentially serve as chefs and other types of workers. We have an aggressive plan for the next five years. I am the company’s director of marketing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with MultiVision?
We needed to bring relevant, engaging content to a target audience in a new market. We didn’t have a customer database, so we needed a partner with the right kind of vision and the ability to create an engaging video series.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
MultiVision created a seven-minute corporate video introducing our company, goals, ethics, and products. They also produced a how-to video that shows consumers how we set up the robots.
Our third video was a more creative endeavor. We had to think about our potential market without knowing what it looked like. We are offering a product that serves the public, but we don’t have a history outside of robotic vacuums.
MultiVision’s challenge was to identify our CEO’s vision, ethic, and goals while keeping our target market in mind. For instance, they considered whether we would cater to parents or professionals. We created videos that would be relevant and engaging to different demographics.
They wrote a script and brought in a production team and actors. The process was akin to producing a high-level TV commercial.
What is the team composition?
We worked with their principal and four team members. MultiVision also hired actors. We had a mixture of videographers, scriptwriters, technicians, and actors, which totaled 8-10 people.
How did you come to work with MultiVision?
I was set to work with them on a project for another company. We had a great conversation, and I wanted to work with MultiVision again in the future. Since I knew about the brilliance of their work, I introduced MultiVision to our CEO when the current opportunity arose. They sold their services and delivered.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was around $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first engaged MultiVision in October 2017. All five videos were finished within three months.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MultiVision has helped us produce marketing assets. Our product isn’t set to launch until June 2018.
I would use MultiVision again; I have them lined up for other projects. They were great to work with because they understood the challenges of a startup company.
How did MultiVision perform from a project management standpoint?
Robert (Vice President of Sales and Marketing, MultiVision) understood the people he was working with and made the work easy. Creative people can become standoffish at times, but he made it clear that it was our business and that he was there to serve us.
Working with him and following his explanations was easy. He did a stellar job of assembling the project. Everything moved forward in a timely fashion, without any missed elements.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One challenge in dealing with creative people is getting them to see the vision and ethics of a business. They see certain things differently than a CTO does, but it’s important to stress doing things in a specific way.
Robert showed us alternatives to our approach. He came to certain conclusions, based on relative connections to our product, that showed us the best way to sell it.
He responds to egos in a way that works for everyone. That’s a unique asset for MultiVision, outside of their stellar video production.

MultiVision produces monthly videos that are based on stakeholder interviews. The team also provides coverage for live events and edits the raw footage to focus on key highlights.
The team has a unique understanding of a very specific industry, resulting in high audience engagement. MultiVision’s involvement means a more streamlined process as well, and they easily adapt to sudden schedule changes.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing director at Commercial Observer, which is a B2B publication serving the commercial real estate industry. We have a print publication and a web presence. We also have very targeted events for commercial real estate professionals in New York and other markets.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with MultiVision Digital Productions?
It was kind of dual-purpose. One challenge was that we wanted to increase the amount of video we utilized for editorial purposes. We previously had used several other companies but really weren’t impressed with the quality of the videos or the turnaround time. We didn’t feel that the video teams had added any value over doing it in-house.
The other side of that was that we had a client, an accounting firm, that wanted to establish itself as a thought leader and align their brand with top owners in New York. So, we created a video series that comes out once a month, in which our editorial team interviews top owners, developers, or commercial real estate brokers. It’s a completely editorial product talking about the latest trends in the industry, the projects they have, and where they see the market going in the future. The client is a sponsor of that series, so it was a solution for both of our problems. We were able to create an editorial product that utilizes video, and we were able to establish that alignment for our sponsor.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve done our monthly video series for just about a year now. We had our client come in May of 2016, and they were happy with the video series, so they’ve renewed for all of 2017. MultiVision has been doing that every single month since May of last year. We have other video opportunities, such as live events, for which they also do the video coverage.
The process for the monthly videos is pretty simple. It’s essentially a one-on-one interview with our editorial team and whoever the subject may be. Because we are a media company, we handle everything in-house—formulating the questions and liaising back and forth with the owner and their assistant to coordinate. We then send over the questions ahead of time to Robert and his team. We all show up on-site probably about ten minutes before the talent arrives.
Robert and his team have already set up the lighting and worked on any issues there may have been. Robert is there as a consultant, so he’ll coach the person we’re interviewing. If they’re uncomfortable in front of the camera, he lets them know that it’s very fluid and like a conversation. He does quite a bit of work specifically within commercial real estate video, so he’ll supplement questions if he feels it would make for a product that’s edited better.
It’s simpler for live events because we have a panel discussion going on. So, they’re there to just capture the networking, audience reactions, and the panel discussions. It’s about an hour of discussion, then they’ll cut it to a two-minute video with the highlights. I’ll provide the key points that we want to focus on, and then they use their discretion to deliver a product that captures those points.
We haven’t used any other services from them just yet, but we are pitching custom video. That would be something we would use them for, it’s just something we haven’t sold yet. At the end of the year, Robert and I met to go through best practices for videos and other opportunities we could use to leverage that and help with our business needs.
How did you come to work with MultiVision Digital Productions?
It actually came as a recommendation from the sponsoring client. How much have you invested with MultiVision Digital Productions?
We’ve spent in the range of $25,000–$30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April of 2016, and the relationship is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
The engagement with the videos that were shot by his team is at least 100% higher than what we’ve had previously. This client increased spend by 50% as a result of this add-on to their package. Internally, the videos have been received very well. Our team felt that video was too much work for the return we were getting. However, his team is very good about minimizing the amount of work we have to do on our end. So, they’re actively pitching custom video and other video opportunities to clients now because they’re seeing the return. It’s hard to gauge the audience, but it’s become a focus for us internally to provide another medium that we can use to distribute information to our audience. It’s part of the new set that we have now.
How did MultiVision Digital Productions perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication is wonderful. We haven’t yet missed a deadline. They’re very good about checking with me and figuring out exactly what I need. If there’s a rush for some reason, they’re very good about that. They’re also very flexible with last-minute changes to schedules. We work with pretty important people that may cancel last-minute or have an unexpected opening in their schedule. Robert is very good about accommodating for that as well.
I mentioned that, at the end of last year, we had a very formal conversation about whether we’re pleased with the work. Any criticisms I might have had, he definitely listened and they’ve improved since. They were all very minor. We communicate over email. It’s very informal and very shorthand, which is something I kind of need. It helps expedite the process for us.
What did you find most impressive about MultiVision Digital Productions?
A unique aspect is that Robert understands the business implications of the work he’s providing us. He is able to be a source of expertise on the set for our clients, to let them know how to look and speak best on video. His editing team is pretty creative about cutting and pasting different segments to make it flow. The whole team has a unique understanding of our very specific industry, which I’ve found is lacking in a lot of the videographers we’ve worked with in the past. They’re very professional and reliable.
Are there any areas MultiVision Digital Productions could improve?
No. I really have no criticism.

They developed about 40 videos to help show their knowledge of the industry with which they work. Creative direction, lighting, and sound were all provided within the development of the 2-minute videos.
The client has received a lot of good feedback and with that feedback, new business because of the videos. They were very willing to make changes where needed and the relationship formed was one of mutual understanding. That along with their high level of technical expertise, delivered a quality relationship between the two teams.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Berdon LLP is a top 40 accounting and advisory firm based in New York City. We have 400 employees in two offices. We have been around for 100 years. I’m a marketing manager.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with MultiVision Digital Productions?
We recognized that our culture is an immediate impact culture. We have highly talented people with multiple degrees that can write on multiple subjects but don’t have time to get deeply into a topic. We needed a venue where we would be able to project the intellectual capacity that we do have and the intelligence that we have regarding tax and legal knowledge. We came up with a concept called “2Minutes On”, where we touch on the most important elements of a topic within two minutes to attract people to want to learn more.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided technical expertise in the direction, lighting, and sound of our productions. They gave direction to the speakers on how to stay focused and hit the major points of the topic by being as concise as possible. They also helped the speaker to project a likeability with an occasional smile and hand gesture. We’ve added more approaches over the years including graphics, charts, etc. MultiVision Digital Productions is great at fostering talent in people who are not public speakers and at making them feel comfortable. They’ve produced about 40 videos that have been used for different purposes. It’s been a very collaborative effort. They’ve given us feedback on our ideas.
How did you come to work with MultiVision Digital Productions?
I was not involved in the selection, but I know there was a research and interview process. Two things that were very important to us was their responsiveness and the fact that they came with ideas. We continue our relationship with them because they deliver what we want.
How much have you invested with MultiVision Digital Productions?
We have spent between $10,000 and $50,000 over the course of our relationship.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in April 2012, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Many of our partners have received good feedback and new business as a result of the videos. The videos highlight issues that are specific to an industry that sometimes people aren’t aware of. Our main goal in the videos was to get the face of our professionals out there. They’re much like a CNN interview. It’s done very professionally, which has improved over the years.
How did MultiVision Digital Productions perform from a project management standpoint?
They show up on time and deliver when we need it. If something needs to be tweaked, they take care of that. They understand our business and we understand them.
What did you find most impressive about MultiVision Digital Productions?
They are easy people to talk to who listen and respond. They have a lot of technical expertise.
Are there any areas MultiVision Digital Productions could improve?
No. We’re very satisfied. We’re working on projects now that will be testing their skills. I’m looking forward to trying new things with them.

transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of communications for Societe Generale, a global banking organization.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with MultiVision Digital Productions?
Our challenge is communicating the strategy and vision that our CEO in the Americas has for our group internally. We’ve had specific initiatives around culture and conduct, which is a huge issue within the banking world. Since it’s a relatively theoretical topic in many regards, we wanted to make it more tangible, interesting, and engaging for employees.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve created possibly 20 videos for us over the last two years. We’ve done videos that include interviews with our CEO and other senior executives. We have some talking points, but Rob and his team come in and work as a team with my communications group. We’ve tried a lot of things to add interest to some of our town hall meetings. For example, we interviewed different managers throughout the firm, asking them a question that was related to a certain topic. Other videos focused on specific initiatives that are more difficult to understand or didn’t have enough awareness in the firm.
How did you come to work with MultiVision Digital Productions?
Someone on our team referred them to me. We were impressed by our meeting with them, particularly their approach to understanding the business and what we wanted to accomplish.
How much have you invested with MultiVision Digital Productions?
We spend under $10,000 per project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in the June 2015, and the last project was completed in February 2017. We’ll have more work for them in the future.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We’re a global organization with 150,000 employees in 66 different countries. We have offices and communications teams around the world. One of the videos that we did in the US was more viewed than any other video in the world. Our CEO knows Rob and his team, and he’s very comfortable when he sees them in the room. When we discuss new videos, he wants to make sure we use the same team. He doesn’t like being in front of the camera, but he’s more comfortable when he knows MultiVision will be there. When we have a town hall, it’s expected that we’ll have a great video to show that’s entertaining and energetic. MultiVision has done a good job of capturing voices and faces and adding life to it. They’ve broken out of the standard corporate video mode to make them more interesting. Some of that is how a video is shot, the approach on it, or the editing.
Rob has a great way of understanding what people want to say and helping them make a point more succinctly. That is a huge benefit because he’s bringing added value on a high level, helping create messages that resonate with the viewer. They are a smart team. They apply their knowledge of how video works best to bring about the end product that you want. We might try to explain things too technically, but MultiVision has a good way of understanding how to hold people’s attention. They’ve done a very good job of understanding our business and the type of project we want.
If we have a group that doesn’t have a budget for the work and they want to do something that looks cool for an internal meeting, Rob is always willing to work with us. He’s done some video editing for a film that was shot at a charity event on an iPhone. He can make something look much better than we can. When we get the first cut, it’s very close to where we want the final product to be.
How did MultiVision Digital Productions perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve been on time and within budget. Any delays have been because of us. They are very open in communication and giving us feedback.
What did you find most impressive about MultiVision Digital Productions?
They do great work while having a very professional yet open approach to things. Rob is constantly giving me ideas and it’s not even about selling his business—now that he knows our organization better, he’s seeing opportunities of things we can be doing more. He has a lot of experience with working externally with B2B companies and can bring ideas to us. That’s the partnership approach instead of a vendor approach.
Are there any areas MultiVision Digital Productions could improve?
Not really. Anytime you start a relationship with someone, you learn how specific you need to be on both sides of the equation. Through the course of doing a number of different projects, you get better at that. If we did the first projects again, I think we’d have more of an understanding of each other to make them even better than we did.
