The development took twice as long as the design. The website was shared and we went through a few rounds of feedback on the developed website to get to the ideal state.

Our team hired Movadex to take on the visual design and clickable wireframing of our flagship humanitarian response platform. This project involved translating sketches into VC-ready wireframes that could illustrate the value of our platforms prototype.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to get a prototype/ concept that was palatable to VC's and other investors. It needed to look cutting edge, but also have sound structure. We worked with Movadex to think through both the structure and design in a very short period of time, developing VC-ready wireframes.
SOLUTION
How did you select Movadex?
We selected Movadex because we had a referral and a connection to their team. After hearing about their work, we vetted their past design experiences and websites which showed exemplary design skills for large-scale public platforms utilizing biometrics and other similar design flows. We then looked at their prices and compared them to other vendors. Movadex had tremendous value for their price.

Once we selected Movadex I handed over rudimentary drawn, or Adobe wireframes that were not dynamic to Movadex. We explained the idea at length and talked to them about structures and workflows. For each page our team developed much of the UX structure and the proposed data hierarchy while Movadex translated it quickly to an eye-grabbing demo for us to use in pitches.
We collaborated in real-time in Figma with incredible speed. The whole process was methodical and "agile" moving at a quick and transparent pace.
What was the team composition?
Nor, Vasyl, and Gregory who worked on the design were remarkably receptive and often answered our questions before we asked them. Salome, who worked on their BD team was thorough, fast, and highly professional.
They are young, very sharp, extremely responsive over any medium, adaptive to change, and intuitive. Each and every one of them offered feedback to our ideas in addition to building a product we wanted. This process was thus highly collaborative. They are very well suited for work with any startup or large task.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project was a great success. In a short period of time their work got us from drawings to wireframes that were ready for pitch decks at a fair price. We presented the product to multiple angel investor networks, venture capitalists, etc. Many of them mentioned the sleek design.
Our original expectations were cautious but optimistic given the 1 month timeline we had before our first pitch, Movadex greatly exceeded our expectations. They provided a stellar product that realized our vision and goals.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was highly collaborative. We did quick calls every few days on Skype and added comments live in Figma as they developed. In Figma we could view progress as it happened and leave feedback which they would change often 10 seconds after a comment.
From a digital technology PM's perspective their communications, scheduling, and QA was above industry standard and took tremendous levels of stress off of me and the rest of our team at a crucial time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was most impressed by their incredible intuition and care in taking on somebody else's idea and making it a shared product. They added ideas as well as designs, with true critical thinking in a way that most UI design shops never would. I was also very impressed by their speed, professionalism, and dedication.
As a young crew, they proved themselves well beyond their years and are truly a team to watch out for. They were used to working across timezones which was very important for our team who was global.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I am a highly critical person and genuinely there were none. They took our project, which was well behind schedule, and put us ahead of schedule in the span of only a few weeks.

We searched on multiple platforms for web development companies and had some initial calls with Movadex, who convinced us that they can achieve our goals in the way we want.

We had a kick-off meeting to plan the whole project. Our in-house designer made a screen design of the new page and Movadex started to translate the design to HTML and CSS. After that we had another meeting where we discussed which CMS is suitable for us and decided to choose WordPress.
In the last step Movadex brought the design in a custom made theme to Wordpress, setup a test environment and after we included all content, they put it to our production Webserver.
