The project was to deliver an initial version of an iOS mobile App. The App was intended to be rolled out to a small team of Site surveyors and Managers to help them in their day-to-day jobs. The primary focus of the App was to remove the need to fill out paper based forms when reviewing and inspecting new houses being built.

The current business process was creating ~500 paper forms a week, and it was envisaged the new app could remove the vast majority of those. Molfar took a high level functional design and turned that into a detailed UX Design and Mobile App design which was approved by the client.

Through a series of one-week sprints the team then iterated the development through to completion, releasing regularly via TestFlight to gather user feedback. Throughout the project Molfar regularly came forward with suggestions on how to improve the functionality and user experience, which was gratefully received by the client.

For this project we started with quite a detailed design already done, and with some pretty clear views from the client on what they wanted. What was impressive about Moflar was that they still came forward regularly to challenge the orginal design and thinking with proposals for how they felt it could be done better. They brought experience and best practices to the table and offered real value above and beyond simply being a delivery partner.
