WalkyFit - cryptocurrency for activities app
At the end of 2017, guys from Centurion Lab connected with our team to develop a mobile app. By using the app, users had to be able to mine Centurion (CNT) coins. The idea was really great - make money from physical activities. The app tracked your movements during the day, and the more you move - the more CNT you could mine. App had integrations with different fitness trackers to make this process simple and convenient.
If you want to try the app, it is still available in the AppStore - https://apps.apple.com/ua/app/walkyfit/id1343863769

Escuzi - wearable app for waiters (wearOS)
Escuzi is a wearable application for waiters.
The app was made for smartwatches powered by Google's Wear OS.
The app allows taking orders, managing orders, sending them to the kitchen, and many more.
The hardest part was to optimize the interface for small screens. As it's the app for intensive everyday use, all elements should be easy to click, without any additional efforts. That's why we invested an additional week for UX testing in real cafes, watching how waiters manage test notifications from the app in real life. After such tests, we significantly improved several screens and moved any possible options into new screens.
Such projects allow you to reopen yourself as a designer, watching the real-life problems from the new perspective, putting interfaces into smaller screens without losing any piece of functionality. Car interfaces, appliances, any other devices are challenging, but the excellent field for designer's growth.

The app is available in the AppStore - https://apps.apple.com/ru/app/fly-the-modern-concierge/id1434666248

Showman - mobile app for actors training (powered by AI)
Showman (working name "Acty") is a mobile application for actors' self-tapes. It's powered by Artificial Intelligence to analyze the play quality and rate the actor's skills.
Analyzation is based on multiple parameters, like script correctness, emotions, speech, and many others. Machine Learning algorithms should make clusterization of hundreds of stats and give the final score break up on three numbers: script, emotions, and overall score. In the reports, actors can see the beautiful charts showing their best moments and the points that should be improved.
In the future, this tool will be used for casting managers to pre-score the candidates.
The client of the app is a guy from Hollywood, that tested the app idea on Broadway actors. Stay tuned!

Android Mobile App Dev for Onsite Payment Services Company
"Their high quality is one thing, but I’m blown away by their communication and attention to detail."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Tap For Pty Ltd. We're providing an onsite service for payments, including collecting donations for charities at retail establishments.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
I’m working with molfar.io to create the software platform. They’re building the platform that will allow us to present it to people and collect donations for charities.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve started from scratch to build this Android application. We started off with meetings where we explained exactly what we wanted. They’re developing the software that will enable us to place multiple different charities on the home screen, which will be presented to customers next to a POS system at a retail store or supermarket.
They’re building it to give the consumer the ability to select the charity of their choice, the amount they want to donate, and then the ability to use their bank card to donate. Once we’ve gotten through testing the concept of the platform, we’ll move into other aspects of the development with them.
What is the team composition?
Sergey (CEO & Founder) is my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
We found them as a referral. We researched different freelance developers and realized they had great reviews and had already developed an app for someone in our location before. It was easy for me to call and speak to the CEO of that previous company, and he gave great reviews of molfar.io.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $6,000–$7,000 AUD (approximately $4,600–$5,400 USD)
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2020 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality has been fantastic. They do exactly as they’re asked and give us plenty of help and advice. They’ve actually changed a few of our opinions on how to do certain things, which has been great
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication-wise, they’ve been fantastic and on a different level. Previous to the project starting, they gave us a sprint-by-sprint breakdown of what they were going to do and gave us a projected finish line. The only reason they didn’t meet that end-date was purely on our side with changing the scope of work, COVID-19 restrictions, or holidays getting in the way.
As far as meeting deadlines, they’ve pretty much done everything on time when we’ve asked. We use WhatsApp for messaging each other and try to do a weekly Zoom call so we can be face-to-face.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their high quality is one thing, but I’m blown away by their communication and attention to detail. Their work ethic also stands out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It sounds cheesy, but I haven’t experienced anything I’d like them to change.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They make the process very easy. They’ll send a confidential contract — what you ask for is what you get with their team.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Founder of ProsperApp that focuses on content led financial services based world wide.
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io?
The company was seeking to build an MVP to test market validation. We hired Molfar to build the android and ios apps. The App required the user to receive daily notifications about certain resources and then be able to read more and commit purchases.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to test if users would purchase based off of micro information over a long period of time.
How did you select molfar.io?
My team and I searched online for developers who specialised in fast yet quality work for MVP. Molfar had excellent reviews and were at a great price point for our project.
Describe the project in detail.
The Molfar team were fantastic at going through the tasks in the onboarding meeting as well as the follow up meetings there after as the project progressed. The team were particularly great at answering any questions the team and myself had about the development of the App and any changes that occurred.
What was the team composition?
We were assigned a project manager and two developers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The Apps were delivered on time and ready for launch in our marketing campaigns. The feedback on the App all said that it was smooth, fast and well done.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The Molfar team is excellent in communicating to their client. The time difference seemed non existent between our teams as Molfar was very attentive to our questions as the App was being developed.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was impressed by the optimality the Molfar team provided for unforeseen hurdles in development.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I was satisfied with the development provided by the Molfar team and would suggest them to clients who are building their first MVP.

For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io?
Needed a cheap qualified android developer. Hiring Android developers is a long and complex process. With very few available experts on the local market, limited project budget, and the need to scale here and now, it seems like a “mission impossible” kind of endeavour.
What were your goals for this project?
fully operational android app
How did you select molfar.io?
The market for Android developers is huge, and it can be difficult to pinpoint the right candidate to meet your specific needs and bring your app to life in the most successful way possible. I selected a few from freelancers to mobile app development companies based on the following
- requirements
- interview
- portfolio Molfar.io stood up from the crowd
Describe the project in detail.
android development from A to Z
What was the team composition?
IOS developer/Project manager Sergey and his team (molfar.io) Myself
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Sergey provided regular updates, was responsive when we had questions, guided us along the process, and was very engaged once we were ready to submit to the app store.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Awesome developer. I was very pleased with working with Sergey and his team.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
- Technical expertise

Are there any areas for improvement?

For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io?
iOS & Android development of 'QYOU - The Question App' - Humanity’s largest, ever-growing library of questions that bring people together. www.getqyou.com
What were your goals for this project?
QYOU is a personal passion project, designed to fill the app users' lives with more fun, friends, love & happiness. The goal is to strengthen the connections with friends and loved ones and infuse people's lives with positivity and real conversations.
How did you select molfar.io?
Spent several weeks researching and interviewing app development companies, individuals and services around the world. Had chats and interviews with companies from Ukraine, Canada and India, even. After interviewing dozens of developers, I decided on Molfar.io, as I had a feeling they really listened and did their best to understand the project.
They were not just looking for a sale, but they were looking to partner up and had plenty of expertise to share about the different stages of the app's development.
They gave me a line-by-line analysis of the entire functionality of the project, along with their expertise to not necessarily include everything in the first version, but to focus on the core functionality of the App, making an MVP version of the product to test the waters. This very analytical approach allowed me to limit my initial expenses, which allowed me to allocate more budget for marketing.
Describe the project in detail.
Key meetings via video chat & a dedicated online collab space with daily check-ins.
What was the team composition?
1 developer, 1 project lead
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Clear timing & schedule of the development process kept the project on time, with regular updates and test versions of the app being developed and shared. Results and updates were coming in within days of starting the collaboration, which resulted in a timely development from start to finish.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective, efficient and pleasant. Video conference calls for important meetings, and daily, even nightly updates on progress, questions, points that needed clarification etc.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The professionalism, their philosophy of being partners instead of contractors, and the wealth of expertise and professionalism Molfar.io brought to the table at every step of the development process. The patience and friendliness made a huge impact on my experience into the app dev. space.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Very thorough, pleasant, fast and cost-effective, I consider them my go-to partner for all things app development. I have already recommended Molfar.io to a number of friends looking for app devs.

Mobile App Development for Yoga Company
“I was most impressed just by their ability to put all of the pieces together without any errors whatsoever.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Me and my partner started a yoga company and wanted to create an app for affirmation, meditation, and vision boards to go along with it.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
I needed a design partner to help really bring my vision to life in the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The biggest focus of the project was the design for the app, which I had a very specific vision for. The point of the app is to help you calm your mind, so I wanted it to be very minimalistic and easy to use, and they focused on making those two things a reality. We built the first version on iOS, and the plan is to get feedback and expand to Android from there.
What is the team composition?
I only interacted with two members of their team, including a project manager and a developer, both of whom I found to be very professional.
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
We found them on Fiverr, and originally ran the project through their platform but then decided to move the rest of the work to our own contract.
How much have you invested with them?
The design was about $2,000 in four or five payments. Their price was amazingly low compared to what a lot of other vendors wanted to charge us.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project around July 2020. My partner and I just got engaged and bought a house, so we put the app on pause for a bit, but we are planning to continue working with molfar.io in the future.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of the app itself is excellent. It runs very quickly and smoothly and has received really positive feedback on the usability of the design.
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
They have made the project really easy for us to manage, first in their quick responses to us as we iterated back and forth on the final designs, and then consistently updating us on the progress of the development and posting to the app store. With any other company that didn’t follow up as well as they did, I’m sure the process would have taken much longer.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was most impressed just by their ability to put all of the pieces together without any errors whatsoever. I’m not a person to give a lot of compliments unless people really deserve it, but what they did with the app, the time frame in which they did it, and the communication were all extremely professional from day one.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about the engagement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try them out with a smaller project, and I’m sure you will gain the confidence to bring them on for whatever you need.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I was a VP at MinexSystems, a FinTech/blockchain company. They bridged payment methods with cryptocurrencies to bring innovation to the market.
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io?
The company was facing serious cash flow issues. As a recently appointed VP (previously being an investor), I needed to understand what was going wrong and what to improve. I brought on molfar.io to perform the task
What were your goals for this project?
We set out to evaluate many aspects of our business including company organization, human resources, marketing strategy, and core processes. They were to provide a full report with a proposed action plan and layoff plan.
How did you select this vendor?
I’ve known the company for some time, especially one of its founders.
Describe the project in detail.
We described the task on the phone in depth. After the first meeting, where all the details were sorted out, molfar.io came to evaluate the entire company for two weeks. Then, they produced the report and gave a presentation.
What was the team composition?
We worked with two Molfar crews: one for our company and one for our technology.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We took their advice to heart, laying off unproductive or over expensive staff, reorganizing the company, ending unproductive projects, and focusing on cash flow production. These steps gave us room to breathe and implement foundational changes, which would have allowed us to survive. Unfortunately, with management not changing, these measures were quickly abandoned and the company failed. None of this was molfar.io’s fault, however.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our personal relationship allowed for a smooth workflow. There was communication every day. Tasks were performed as expected.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their capacity to make a fully objective analysis and dive deep into questions and assumptions stood out to us. They also excelled at linking consequences to causes and highlighting both board spectrum and granular views of issues.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Already having some experience with the company, things went pretty much as expected. As our management was tough and not particularly cooperative (keeping some of the company's info private) Molfar could have stood their ground more firmly. That would be the only thing to say.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We’re one of the biggest banks in Ukraine that’s powered by modern technologies. We have 22 million users and provide all banking services like cards, credits, deposits. I’m the project manager who led the communication with molfar.io.
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io?
Before we approached molfar.io, our main product team was in the process of rewriting our client application for mobile banking. We’d already been developing the apps for a year but realized that we were closing in on a tight deadline, so we hired molfar.io to boost our development capabilities.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed them to support us so that we could get our mobile apps out on time. With our app, users could manage card accounts, communicate with customer support, and book all of our other services.
How did you select this vendor?
It was a difficult process. I interviewed about ten teams from our city, and the price/quality ratio was not good. Some had high estimates, others could only start after a month, and many were only semi-skilled.
Then, one of our team members recommended molfar.io. He knew the founders and organized a meeting with them. I was positively surprised by their product-based approach and flexibility. Usually, offshore teams offer a people-per-hour model that isn’t the most effective way to build products like ours. But molfar.io’s method seemed to suit our needs. That was the deciding point for us, and we signed an NDA with them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
It was a productive collaboration. molfar.io provided us with native iOS/Android mobile development, project/product management, QA services, and UX design. We liked that they offered certain services like UX design free of change because they were focused on producing a better final result.
We had all of the documentation ready at the start, including the product requirements document, technical specifications, storyboards, and more. They used our materials to estimate how many resources we would need to meet our deadline.
Afterward, we agreed on the scope of work and tasked them with building out support functions: managers, chats, ratings, an FAQ section, urgent calls, and other add-ons. Once they finished that initial scope, we allocated them to support the project’s overall bug fixes.
What was the team composition?
They assigned three iOS Swift developers, an Android Kotlin developer, a QA tester, and a project manager. 90% of the time, I interacted with the project manager, and he managed all tasks/questions/issues with their developers. I liked that a lot—the less communication with different people, the better.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We completed the apps on time, which was the main success factor. Based on molfar.io’s product background and recommendations, we managed to improve our roadmap/workflow and speed up our processes. Today, the apps are in a closed beta, and we’ve received very positive feedback from our beta users.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
I think the management was really good; I can't remember any issues or misunderstandings during the process. Our team used a Scrum methodology with one-week sprints, daily meetings, and retrospectives, which Molfar.io fit into well. They joined our meetings and gave daily and weekly updates. Whenever I had questions, they would respond within 10–20 minutes. We used Slack for communication.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Not only did they meet my expectations, but they were so flexible. Our team was surprised that they could jump into the project in just a week.
Their product-focused mindset was also a significant addition. Each team member—from project manager to QA tester—tried to come up with solutions that would benefit our end users and product, which is rare for developers.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, it’s really hard to add anything. Maybe they could improve their testing by adding more unit tests for 100% code coverage. Otherwise, everything else was good.
The ongoing engagement has completely satisfied the client, both in terms of molfar.io’s quality work and outstanding communication. The team is well organized, laying out every step from the beginning and adhering to timelines whenever possible. Their dedication and work ethic stand out.
