Someone referred Mojo Media to us. I took a look at their previous work as well as reviews and this helped me decide to work with them.

Mojo Media designed and developed a WordPress website for me. I first had an initial phone call to discuss my ideas of what I wanted to see and what I wanted to avoid. The team gave me the pros and cons, what works and what doesn’t, what looks better for SEO, and so on. They also made recommendations for marketing it, but I decided to focus on development at the time. When I came to a decision, they took what we discussed and proceeded with the development process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Right from the start, we received tons of compliments about our website. Users found it much easier to navigate and find the information they were looking for so it reduced the number of phone calls we were getting from users with questions. The number of leads generated from the website increased by around 65%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They performed well in terms of project management. The scope was well-established, and they beat the deadlines they set. In terms of communication, they were very responsive — whenever I needed any changes, they immediately got back to me and were always on top of it. We communicated through phone calls, email, text messages, and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Mojo Media delivered high-quality work at a reasonable price. Additionally, the team was incredibly responsive and flexible.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, there’s no areas for improvement. I was really impressed with their work. This is possibly the best company I have ever worked with even outside of web design.

They also created a newsletter where people could sign up, and I’m hoping to get some traction through that so I’ll be able to do email blasts from the website. They continue to maintain and host the platform.

The website has just gone live two weeks ago, and so far, feedback from potential customers has been positive. I’m also happy with the site’s layout.

They have a good project management process. They’ve been attentive to all of the things I wanted to see on the site. We communicate through Zoom, phone calls, and emails, and we’re in touch every couple of days.

I’m the pharmacy assistant and co-founder of a pharmacy business, which we opened at the end of October 2021.

We wanted to promote our business as soon as we opened our pharmacy, so we hired Mojo Media to help us create a website. It was important for us to let people know about us and our services.

Initially, we had a meeting with Sara (Founder & CEO) to talk about how we’d like the website to look. We told her about our services and what we’d need from patients when they booked appointments with us.

I’ve known Sara for a long time; I also knew that she was responsible — she was an excellent person. Moreover, at that time, we were already desperate to have the website. I heard from other people that Sara did a good job for them, so we asked her whether or not she could help us. 

Sara then showed us their previous work with other websites. My partner and I loved their outputs; we also liked how Sara represented herself. As a result, we hired Mojo Media.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everything about the engagement was great. We were so happy with their outputs and had no single complaint. Mojo Media did the project in weeks; it would have been done faster if not for some things we requested.  

Even when we requested important website changes, they worked fast. For instance, we asked them to switch the first and second pages of the website. In less than 10 minutes, Sara texted me back and said that everything was ready. 

How did Mojo Media perform from a project management standpoint? 

Mojo Media’s project management was excellent. We typically communicated through emails and text messages. Sara also came to the pharmacy in person; she was also patient when she did that — she’d wait for us to finish work before having a meeting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Mojo Media team earned my full trust. They were responsible and delivered on time, and the team worked maturely. For context, I had negative experiences with people that failed to do what they promised to do. At that time, the business was already ongoing and we didn’t have time to look for many options — we were stuck. By contrast, Sara and her team were the best. I’d recommend them to everybody.

No, there weren’t any. Everything was excellent.

Prepare for Sara. She’s highly organized and professional, so she’ll ask many questions and will document everything. Be well-prepared for your meeting with her.

Our revenue had been steady for the past couple of years, and most of it was coming from website bookings. We thought a website redesign could capitalize on that trend.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mojo Media completely redeveloped our website. They analyzed our existing website and ran checks to identify the keywords that would bring us the most user traffic. After implementing that information into the website, they installed a live-chat tool so my team could interact more with our customers. Mojo Media also added a blog and an extra page of company information so customers can get to know more about my company and our team.

I only spoke to Sara (Founder), so I don’t know how many other people were on the Mojo Media team.

I have a close friend who works in web development who didn’t have the capacity to work on my website. So, he posted on an online web design group and got a few responses to the job posting. Mojo Media stood from their competitors, so he passed along their information. I looked into them, saw their reviews, checked their referrals, and decided to give them a try based on their presentation and offerings.

We’ve invested $3,000 so far with Mojo Media.

We started our partnership with Mojo Media in November 2021 and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new pages Mojo Media added to our website have made us stand out from our competitors. It has been about a week since we launched the refurbished website, and we’re getting more traction than before. We used to get 2–3 inquiries a day via the website, but we’re now up to seven, which hasn’t happened since we first owned the business. Mojo Media used the right keywords to capture our market. 

How did Mojo Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Sara was fantastic, and much better than the two companies I’d worked with previously. It was nice to work with a very hands-on business founder. We communicated via online chats and email. Sara was very flexible with scheduling; I could call her as late as 10 p.m., which was beneficial because I am busy running my company during regular business hours. 

Mojo Media was efficient, even when I was behind schedule. Sara worked seven days a week and was very resourceful. She conveyed deadlines for each aspect of the project well — Sara answered my questions quickly and wasn’t afraid to ask her own questions about what I wanted. Overall, she was a positive, professional individual.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mojo Media was much more involved with my business than the other web designers I’ve worked with; they just wanted my money and gave me generic designs. Sara started the whole project from scratch and tailored everything to my business. If there were issues with the website, she’d address them within 24 hours. Before, it took three days to solve site issues, and we’d inevitably lose customers. 

She kept all of her promises — she stands out from the competition. It was a great experience working with Sara, and I plan to use Mojo Media in the future because they’ve proven they get things done and can communicate well.   

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything for Mojo Media to improve. They were accessible 24/7, did the work, met the timeline, and really thought outside the box to deliver for me. Mojo Media did everything other firms were unable to do. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I’d advise customers to give Mojo Media a try! They aren’t as experienced, so we were initially hesitant to invest in their services, but now I’d definitely recommend them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I worked with one of Mojo Media’s ad specialists, and they created a brand new landing page for me. I didn’t use my main website for that because it was done on Wix — it was easier for us to create landing pages on WordPress. The team handled all the written content and I provided the photographs. Then, they ran a Google Ads campaign for a few months to help me generate leads. 

At present, they follow up with me on our campaign performance. I’m booked up through 2021 so we’ve paused the campaigns, but we’ll start running ads again in mid-January 2022.

I mainly work with one ad specialist from their team.

I received an email of a voucher or coupon for a 20% discount on Mojo Media’s services, and we went from there.

Our ad spend has worked out to just under $500 CAD per month, and the conversion rate for our Google Ads is around 17%–18%, which is quite high — I get new leads every other day. In terms of cost per acquisition, I book around 15–16 weddings for every $1,500 CAD spent on ads. 

Overall, I’m 100% satisfied with Mojo Media’s work. The ads have brought in a lot of business for me. They’ve exceeded my expectations, and the team does a great job. 

How did Mojo Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Mojo Media’s project management is great. Everything has been straightforward. Our touchpoints in terms of deliverables are always on time; there’s never any delay or lag in communication. The deadlines that we’ve set have also been met. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is truly straightforward — they don’t fluff. I’ve talked to other companies, and those companies always make outrageous promises. By contrast, Mojo Media goes straight to the point. They tell me what I’ll get and what I can expect. 

Moreover, I know Google Ads well; I just don’t have the time to manage everything. As a result, I know that the team is quite transparent. Given that, I haven’t had any hesitations or worries in terms of working with them. To communicate, we mainly use emails.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. I’ve compared their pricing to some of the quotes I’ve received, and their price is fair — I have no complaints about it and the results of their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have everything prepared in terms of files, photos, videos, and everything else you need. Then, do your own research in terms of what Google Ads are, how the Mojo Media team works, and what kind of services they provide.

Initially, one of Mojo Media’s representatives reached out, collected our information, and ran us through a questionnaire to determine what we were looking for and what we wanted to accomplish. Then, they assigned us an agent, who became our touchpoint.

They check up on us throughout the process and whenever they finish a part of the project. Once we agree and say we’re happy, they move on. Now, they manage our web hosting, pay for everything on the renewals, and keep ongoing website management.

We’ve dealt with at least three people from Mojo Media. Two people are on the account doing the work, and they have someone as their intake person. We follow up consistently with them.

We receive inbound calls about our services. They can be from their SEO or word of mouth, but we can’t really tell. However, since 2020, there has been more inbound business and word of mouth. Overall, we’re pretty impressed with their level of service.

How did Mojo Media perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s been pretty good. Their turnaround time was pretty decent on the website, and they didn’t shy away after the work was done. They followed up with us afterward and asked us if we wanted to tweak things — even after we finished the contact, they delivered. Overall, it’s pretty sweet to deal with them.

Additionally, we have someone who follows up with us to see how things are going. We communicate through email, and if we need to do more, I jump on a call with the two developers. They pick my brain to see what we want, then deliver it. I’m not a tech person, but they make it really easy.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service and customer satisfaction are outstanding. We haven’t used the competition, so we can’t compare and give an honest answer, but our experience with Mojo Media has been excellent.

I’m not 100% sure what they could improve besides doing the work for free. They provide a good service, do the right work, and communicate well.

Our company already had an existing website when we took over, but it was not very well done. So, we decided to hire a company that could develop a new site for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mojo Media developed a simple, 5-page WordPress site for us. The site has a home page, which shows the history of our company, a page that shows information about our rates and services, a page for local attractions within the campsite, and a contact page.

We started the project by discussing what I was going for — I provided them with a rundown of our requirements as well as some examples of what I wanted to see on the site. After we established everything, they started building the site.

After they finished developing the site, they provided me with a tutorial to walk me through the steps on how we can manage and maintain it and make small changes on our own. Any changes to the site that I wanted to be made were executed immediately.
