Manaknightdigital provided multiplatform web and mobile app development from scratch. They took our existing UX and created the platforms, which they linked between them. In terms of technologies, they used React, Figma, MySQL, and PHP.

We worked with around five members of Manaknightdigital’s team, including Ryan (CEO), a project coordinator, and three front- and backend developers.

For this project, we spent around $20,000 CAD (approximately $15,000 USD).

We worked together from April–November 2021 on this project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platforms that Manaknightdigital created received thousands of users the day they went live. The quality was great, the interface was smooth, they thought out the scoping process very well, and their team was reasonable — it was clear that Manaknightdigital put a lot of time into the project coordination.

How did Manaknightdigital perform from a project management standpoint?

Manaknightdigital always stayed on budget and was communicative to keep us updated on the project’s progress and set clear project expectations. Regarding tools and communication, we used monday.com, Slack, and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by their ability to link the platforms between them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could find a way to get clients to sign off on things faster, but other than that, I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on.

Manaknightdigital is the best provider in terms of price and quality ratio. Moreover, have an open mind to their advice and rely on their expertise.

We needed a custom solution and not an off the shelf solution as we have a lot of custom features. Shopify and woocommerce are too rigid to change. Essentially we needed a customized to our requirements.

We connected on LinkedIn & they provided a lot of free technology advice that it didn’t make sense to hire another vendor. We were relieved by how professional they are.

They wireframed the solution, created a design prototype of the application and then coded the application. They did extensive testing to make sure it worked on all browsers and phones. They pretty much took care of everything connected with app development.

They have a 10 person team working on our project. We mainly talked to their project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They took care of the technology part flawlessly so we could focus on the marketing effort of the project. The client was super happy and we are continuing our work to improve his business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Clear communication with weekly sprints and weekly calls. We had our issues addressed very quickly.

They were very efficient with communication and delivery. They had all their basis covered and we always knew exactly where we are at in the development process.

I think if they could work in our timezone it would be easier(Japan timezone) but that not a reasonable ask as they are in Canada. Other than that we will continue working with them.

In addition to the mobile application, the vendor also developed a comprehensive web-based backend system. This backend enables our internal team to easily manage, update, and edit app content and user data without requiring technical expertise. It includes an intuitive interface for content management, user activity tracking, and system configurations.

The vendor managed all aspects of development, from initial planning and architecture to design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
