Magedia successfully migrated our online shop from SW5 to SW6, taking all our requirements regarding appearance and functionality into account. A bespoke design was created and developed for our homepage. Plugins were installed and integrated in the way we requested. Our products were migrated and presented with the desired appearance.

Magedia supported us with the migration of our online shop from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6, including custom plugin development, front-end implementation, and ongoing technical support. They continue to help us maintain a stable and secure Shopware 6.6 store by providing regular security updates, resolving technical issues, and implementing new features as needed. Key results: Successful migration to Shopware 6.6 with a stable and fully functional online store, implementation of custom features and front-end improvements, continuous security updates, ongoing technical support, and a reliable platform that is regularly maintained and enhanced.

The various projects and migration phases were completed on schedule – even when I occasionally requested changes along the way.

There are measurable results in that the shop is running smoothly and – as far as can be ascertained – visitor numbers have now largely returned to normal.

The project management has been excellent. All deadlines were met, my enquiries were answered promptly, and – with excellent advice – they would sometimes point out: “It would be better to…”, and if something didn’t work as I had envisaged, practical solutions were proposed.

To explain: I’m purely an end-user, so I know nothing about software development or settings. I know how I’d like things to be, and Magedia then sets it up accordingly. If anything was unclear, they would follow up with me.

I’m the CTO for a clothing retailer. Our company produce and sell women’s clothing worldwide, offline and online.

We had an expansion plan to put in place, the goal was to develop, release and maintain websites in different areas of the world. Eas very important to not just create modules and write code, but to have a dev team 24/7 focused on bug fixing too. Launching new websites and getting support at any time.

We used to test developers with specific tasks. We found out Magedia team had a very good spectrum of skills in theirvteam and we also wanted one of them as team leader/mentor for developers coming from other partners.

In one year we launched in several new territories, including China. We saw a 80% increment of sales just in one year. Plus we had an execptional support in place, with people ready to fix issues at any time of the day or night.

We built a deep trust in Magedia over the years, and their team leader was acting as part of our company.. Bringing a lot of knowledge, experience, always available and with an incredible strenght and stability during stressful times and emergencies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We sometimes found that youngers developers weren’t expert as expected. But they worked hard to find a replacement.

It would be great if Magedia could better put themselves in the customer's shoes when it comes to their level of knowledge. I assume that most of Magedia's customers are users of the applications rather than people with programming knowledge. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't need Magedia in the first place. If they could take their customers' level of technical knowledge more into account and provide a bit more guidance and support, the whole process would be even smoother and more effective.

Software built a slew of different web applications for us, both front and back end development. They also helped with some major devops projects for us, including a migration to AWS.

What were your goals for this project?

On the product side we needed to build a stable marketplace of financial services, accept payments, build a stable chat interface, move money around. On the technical side we were shifting things to Docker/Angular/Python/AWS.

We tested Anatoly and his team for a bit and made them full time after seeing how well the performed.

We had a series of project of increasing complexity and Softera executed all of them fantastically

We completed our AWS migration on time, integrated with multiple payment providers, and added feature after feature while keeping our product stable.

The workflow and communication was great, we had frequent checkins and they were easily reachable via chat.

I thought their attention to detail and velocity was fantastic.

At the time they didn't have much experience on the mobile dev side but I'm sure that's changed by now.
