We had a bad experience with them right from the first month. Initially, we thought it was normal and things take time to improve. Unfortunately, things never got better and to make matters worse, our account manager went on holiday on Black Friday, which is the most crucial day of the year for any eCommerce company. This caused us to miss out on important business opportunities.

I will never recommend them to anyone or use them again, even if it's for free. This service is not impressive or unique.

During the Black Friday sale, my group and I got lost as our account manager was unresponsive. To prevent this from happening again, I suggest that the company assign a director to oversee the account manager. Additionally, for future events like Black Friday, it would be helpful for customers to remind the company about these special occasions, as they may overlook them if they are not brought to their attention.

We had Shopify, Klaviyo, and Salesforce platforms; there were many complexities in how to set up campaigns, have meaningful data endpoints, and automate campaigns in these different platforms. We didn’t want to automate generic emails but really customize and segment them to target our different consumers appropriately.

LYFE Marketing manages our email marketing. They understand how to work within all our platforms to optimize the emails that are coming out. Moreover, they create nice-looking content for our accounts.

The team also assists us with templates. We work together on copywriting because the products, clinical data, and molecule science are our expertise. However, they help us with engaging terms and other content copy.

We run our touch points with a marketing person. We initially had a different point of contact, but they’ve made a nice transition. We like the new teammate; their analytical skills are slightly better.

We’ve seen steady growth in our website traffic and better-than-average engagement scores and click-through rates. LYFE Marketing helps with templates that engage with content; we’re pleased with their high-quality work. Overall, we see those metrics and know their work is meaningful.

How did LYFE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very easy to work with, and their turnaround time is excellent. The team is responsive, and their prices are reasonable considering the quality, responsiveness, and everything we get.

Moreover, we like to have one point of contact. We don’t have to say the same thing to different people, so there isn’t anything lost in translation. The person we talk to ultimately does the work.

We primarily communicate through emails; we do phone calls every now and then.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything’s been great. LYFE Marketing’s responsiveness and communication are key, particularly for us. They respond quickly, communicate clearly, and stay engaged with us throughout creating a template or automated email flow. Moreover, they let us know about the challenges, so there haven’t been surprises, which is fantastic.

No, there hasn’t been anything to my knowledge.

Just make sure you’re communicating clearly. If LYFE Marketing has to bring your vision to life, you should have a clear plan of what you want to do and what you’re trying to accomplish. Lay out the goals, and they’ll absolutely deliver.

We provide photographic material that LYFE Marketing uses to create content for our social media channels according to the required formats.

We mainly communicate with our account manager. We've also worked with another teammate at the beginning of the project during orientation.

We received cold calls from marketing agencies and decided to break into social media marketing. We searched for the most reputable companies on Google and contacted LYFE Marketing, who presented a business proposal. We accepted the proposal and selected their team because they were based in our city.

We've spent around $25,000–$35,000 on this project, and considering the advertising budget, we've spent double that amount.

We began working with LYFE Marketing in October 2023, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen an increase in our site traffic and brand awareness overall. However, we don't know precisely the amount of sales coming from LYFE Marketing's advertising campaigns. We're a small company and have to juggle many things we weren't prepared for to maximize the potential work the team is providing, like optimizing our website. LYFE Marketing's work quality and creativity are good. 

How did LYFE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

The work process is easy, and the team is available to answer our questions. LYFE Marketing stays within budget and meets deadlines regarding the ads' rollout. We communicate via email and video calls. We collaborate on spreadsheets and cloud-based documents to comment on the team's work, request edits, and give approval. 

LYFE Marketing responds to our emails and calls pretty quickly, which is very important to me because we had previously worked with another marketing company that was difficult to get ahold of and had a high turnaround time. With that company, we never talked to the same person, whereas with LYFE Marketing, I've always talked to our account manager.

Unless something is out of the norm, I always meet with him on Wednesdays every other week, and he's always on time. I want to highlight our account manager's work. He works closely with our team and is very friendly, communicative, and easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm mostly impressed by LYFE Marketing's expediency in getting the work done and how quickly our ads have gained more views. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our particular industry is very specialized and can be difficult to target correctly. I'm not saying LYFE Marketing has done that, but it's common with most marketing agencies. I've found that it's not easy to sell our products and some of our services, mainly because they aren't visible. Film importation is our main business, and I'm aware it's not visible and hard to demonstrate in a picture or short video format. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I recommend having a budget of at least three months when you engage with LYFE Marketing because that's approximately how long the team will take to get the ads to the right social media audience.

Our online presence has grown and our digital profiles have a consistent look and feel that we were searching for. We have and still do generate 3-10 leads per month, with our minimal advertising budget. The results have been successful enough for us to start increasing our ad spend moving forward.

Project management was spectacular. All deliverables were dropped off not only on time, but often ahead of schedule. Any time we have needed changes to one of the posts or content pieces, Lyfe was quick to change and make sure everything was back in order.

They presented their first deliverable. It appeared it was outsourced creative. The copy had many errors and the creative artwork was embarrassing. It was almost as if they used an app to throw together a slide show with annoying musing and really bad text overlay.

LYFE This agency delivered the worst experience in my 25 years running Sales and marketing organizations. RUN DON’T WALK! So many red flags that I should have expected this coming. From emails that received no response to no direct access with employees at the company other than email. They call you, you do not call them. This company is run on make believe. You will be sold a big grand story of what they have accomplished for other brands. They will build up their ability to deliver incredible results. However, in my case the very first deliverable was so embarrassing I had to do everything I could not to flip out on the project manager. I will go into detail. 

I did not plan on giving a review. I actually felt we were so early on in the process and they literally put zero effort into actually delivering a quality service that I would just cut ties immediately and professionally walk away with just a few days lost time on my end. They presented creative for a Facebook Ad campaign as if I should have been excited with the work they prepared. Let me tell you we felt embarrassed for them. It was that bad, how any professional would propose what they proposed they should have been fired on the spot. Yet it seems the entire company and their leaders feel this is the caliber of work they approve of. It's insanity on another level. They must be hurting for cash because they are so adamant about collecting 3 months worth of service fees no matter what. 

This is no different than hiring a guy to build a deck then they show up with used material and labors that have never done the work. There is a quality of service that is expected in return for payment. I am assuming the creative was outsourced and they used ChatGPT to generate written content. As the written content had so many errors. In any event they will never see a dime from me and I will make a point to share my personal experience. They presented Facebook marketing creative and ad designs that appeared to be thrown together last minute. It was a slide show with blinking images and obscure music. I passed these around to colleagues for a laugh. Nobody thought I was serious they thought I was playing a joke they were so bad. 

Next was the copy. It was written like a 10 year old got assigned to the project and took a short cut and through the assignment into ChatGTP. They made statement that were not true and had nothing to do with my company. The project manager assigned to our account was rude and rushed through everything. As bad as the experience was there was no recovery. The ads were so bad they asked me to provide ads for them to use. I attempted to part ways and allow them to save face. I just asked that my retainer be returned as they obviously put zero effort into my project. Instead they charged me the me for several months of service without my authorization, without providing a service and stole from my company.

They will find out quickly I am a litigious person and have no problems going the distance because I have the financial means to do so. Good news it was a credit card authorization and I will get it charged back, we will send this to legal for damages and lost revenue due to the services they misrepresented and ultimately were unable to fulfill. I have it all documented and recorded. Tell Harley she needs to take her tone down and learn some respect for a client. Stay away their sales guy talks a big game things sound great but they have a bunch of kids producing the work. I was shocked at how bad their deliverables were. You will get exactly what I got, complete garbage.

If you are a small business and don't have a bunch of money laying around to spend, then don't bother hiring this company. You will have zero in return.

They’ve only done Facebook campaigns so far. We plan to expand at some point.
