In first instance a client wished to build a SOAP API on top of their Magento install interacting with a catalogue of tens of thousands of karaoke tracks. Allowing trusted third party apps and software to securely stream/download music. The API was an impressive development, load tested and secure.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Being a technically competent developer, but not a Magento expert I always carry out post implementation tests to ensure requirements have been carried out. The project which LogicRays was contacted for have numerous new back-end features added to improve managing almost 20K karaoke songs reducing internal overhead.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Single point of contact at LogicRays managing a team of developers. A combination of email, instant messenger and calls. Sometimes Trello if the projects requires it. I am always very happy with management.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find they go over and above what is requested. I often find them working incredibly unsociable hours to meet needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Working across continents has it’s challenges and benefits. Any issues that have arisen are through human error and as humans we’re simply not infallible. What is important is that LogicRays always strive to resolve matters as quickly as possible. I don’t have any specific gripes

LogicRays is responsible for re-indexing the website and fixing errors with respect to the check-out process, site functionality, site speed, and product display.

LogicRays was helpful in the beginning, however over the past few months the company has not only been most unhelpful, but they have actively sabotaged our website and have refused to correct their mistakes. We are pursuing legal action in India because LogicRays has refused to repair our website.

Not effective. Pritesh (Developer, LogicRays Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) has to be asked multiple times to do very simple tasks. He is often unresponsive.

Yes. This company is awful. They lie to customers and are incompetent.

I’m most impressed with the communication and the fact that they see the whole picture. They give advice on things we don’t see. They make suggestions or tell us if something isn’t correct. It’s good working with them; they have high-level developers.

No, I’m very satisfied and happy with them.

Communication is perfect, and they have a good hierarchy. You can choose between low-cost and high-cost developers for easy and difficult tasks.

The custom pricing was the main functional issue that they recently worked on. It’s a module that allows us to price any customized product no matter what the variables are. It’s quite difficult to do in standard Magento, so LogicRays helped us develop that and embedded it into our front-end interface. They used PHP and worked mainly within the Magento system, which happens to be their specialty.

The quality of their work has been absolutely spot-on. They’ve also been excellent with delivering within the timeframe. I don’t have any metrics on hand, but they’ve added a lot of useful functionality to the websites.

How did LogicRays perform from a project management standpoint?

You couldn’t get better service in the UK—they’re much quicker than the local agencies I’ve worked with. Critesh would respond to a question even when he couldn’t immediately provide an answer to set up a time where we could discuss it. He’s been brilliant.

We engage on Skype for specific projects. When they’re handling a lot of tasks, we use Google Sheets to collaborate.

Their responsiveness and honesty are the most impressive. They’ll be very clear about the scope of their abilities. Their forte is Magento development, and they’ve been forthcoming about when a task is outside of their expertise.

There have been times where we’ve desired a more comprehensive service such as SEO work. But we understand that they’re a specialized company, and they’re flawless in terms of Magento development.
