Our website serves as a hub for our users to track their early retirement goals and progress using our proprietary model and cost of living data for various geographical destinations. Website includes marketing mini-site built on WordPress, onboarding process (questionnaire), user dashboard and account management pages/options, and an admin section for our team.
The system was custom-built by LightMix using standard MS technology stack - IIS/Windows server / MS SQL database / .NET Core framework, utilizing custom HTML/CSS/JS and Angular for front end implementation. The system is owned and administrated by our Firreo team and is set up as a stand-alone web application on a dedicated hosting, which we maintain control of.
Key deliverables focused on website design and development for our Firreo website and include:
User experience design
Development of responsive HTML/CSS/JS templates optimized for mobile devices
Development of mini-website in WordPress
Development of a custom website solution including a database, subscription based membership system, admin backend, and users’ front-end / dashboard

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
First measurable outcome was completing UI design effort, WordPress mini-website was fully built, and HTML templates for the core system were over 50% complete. Work was completed ahead of schedule.
Second measurable outcome was after substantial progress was achieved with the core system development (on-boarding process complete, database is fully built, functional dashboard in Alpha version). Work was completed ahead of schedule.
Third measurable outcome was when the project was complete and approved by our team, prior to final delivery to our server. Work was completed ahead of schedule.

Many things were extremely impressive - the utmost high quality of their work, their professionalism day in and day out, their clear and prompt communication, their attention to our needs and requests... the list goes on.
The most unique aspect of LightMix's team was the level of interest they took in our project and concept, which was a huge help in UX discussions and planning. From the first meeting we had with Eugene, he never failed to offer valuable guidance, perspective, and input where needed. He has a good knack for explaining things in an understandable and relatable way, which is critical for teams like ours that are not well-versed in technical web development jargon.
