Primary Goal: Produce a video that showcases the Rayuwa Project as a proven, scalable, and holistic model for strengthening regional food security and economic equity through community-led development in order to secure funding for replicating the model in other regions.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The deliverable was received on time, within budget, and was high quality with good feedback from stakeholders (including staff/board members). Latitude made a short timeline with a few moving parts feel easy and doable. They were extremely professional, came with solutions, and easy to communicate with. Agile and very responsive.

Latitude was extremely responsive and delivered everything on time, if not earlier than planned. They were thorough, flexible, and came with ideas and viable solutions for any challenges that arose.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found impressive was their ability to immediately understand our needs, translate it into a script, review exisiting footage, determine what was needed to compelte the project, coordinate transportation, take our talking point guidance, complete the interviews, and produce everything in the timeframe allocated. They also were able to quickly respond to a need in the last minute that required an additional interview and incorporate it into the video with little need for direction on our end. They were extremely responsive, agile, and made it easy for us to get this project completed without challenge on our side. They also were quick to flag any issues and directly communicate with our team. The overall product was of incredibly high quality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Latitude Space Africa could have done differently?

At one point when we were requesting edits to the film, they edited a previous version instead of the most recent version. They fixed this immediately, so it was not a big issue.

Latitude Space produce one 10-minute documentary and one 3-minute documentary about one of our flagship projects to increase access in Nigeria. The purpose of the videos was to inform the general public about our work.

Latitude Space co-created the storyboard and the narration with us, interviewed dozens of project partners and participants, and then provided multiple rounds of editing before arriving at the final films. They also took high quality photographs of our project partners and participants.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Latitude Space produced two outstanding videos with high quality imagery and a set of excellent photographs that are visually appealing and tell a convincing story about our work.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Latitude Space was extremely responsive. They responded to all our messages immediate and the turnaround time for making changes we requested were very short. They fully understood the subject matter of the video (it was a pretty technical justice sector project, and although they are not lawyers, they immediately understood the issues that were being discussed).

They were also able to navigate a complex production process that involved a multitude of partners and stakeholders, the needs of all the video needed to address. They showed a great amount of patience and flexibility in ensuring that everyone felt well-represented and included in the project.

Latitude Space are a highly professional, creative, artistic and innovative company. They are able to translate complex and dry content into engaging and visually engaging imagery. They are able to consistently deliver outstanding work at short deadlines and truly understand their customer's needs.

What challenges were you trying to address with Latitude Space Africa?

We needed help with media production. We had a tight deadline because we had a critical meeting with our investors ahead of us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Latitude Space Africa helped us with this project. They filmed about 14 promotional videos and provided direction through the whole process up to postproduction, editing, and audio mixing.

What was the team composition?

We had 4–5 teammates working on the project, but we weren’t sure how many people were involved from their end. We communicated directly with the CEO.

How did you come to work with Latitude Space Africa?

They were referred.

How much have you invested in them?

We paid about $3,000 for the last project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with them for three years. However, our last project was in November 2022.

I’m the former general manager of a nonprofit charity organization. Through intervention programs, we provided education and educational materials for children who came from underserved communities and couldn’t afford basic education in Nigeria.

What challenge were you trying to address with Latitude Space Africa?

We wanted to document some of our outreach programs for underserved communities. We experienced issues in previous programs because we wouldn’t get enough visual data to back up our work, so we needed help with proper documentation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We reached out to Latitude Space Africa to help us with documentation. We had an idea of what we wanted to be documented, so we initially had a meeting with them. They advised us better ways to capture the information and ultimately took live videos of what happened.

One of the donors at the foundation referred them to us.

We started the project in July 2022 and finished it in August 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered exactly what we asked for and even did an extra video at no additional cost. In goodwill, we asked if they could donate an extra video to talk about a book that a 13-year-old girl had written and donated to the children. Although it wasn’t in the initial scope, they agreed to help us.

How did Latitude Space Africa perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was excellent. They delivered items on time and were responsive to our needs. Communication was virtual and in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They stood out for their ability to deliver. Latitude Space Africa stuck to the manual we’d agreed on.

No, there was nothing to improve.

I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who needs those services.

We put out a call for applications and after screening tons of submission Latitude Space for invited for interview and eventually selected. They have the right skill set, expertise, experience and equipment. The team is vast with people who speak all the major languages in Nigeria

We start with an inception meeting where we speak about the project and the expectations of the videos. At the inception meeting resources about the project are shared with Latitude Space. They review and develop draft script for the video and photo concepts. We review the script and sign off for shooting. At post production the first cut draft is shared for review and comments. At every stage of editing both parties are carried along until the final work is delivered

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

The communication channels are very fluid. At every stage of the production and milestone there are review meetings to ensure we are both on the same page.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We share our videos with the fund raising team and it attracts donations from new and existing donors. The videos are also shared with the funders to showcase the excellent work done and impact of the intervention.

The project manager was easy to work with. There were regular catch up meetings to review the milestones. For some very urgent jobs with short delivery time we had to work past regular work hours and sometimes weekend to ensure the video was produced within the short timeframe.

Their desk review of the organization and the different projects. They always understand what is expected of them and write scripts that bring the concept to life fully.

Armourgate Communications Consult is a Management Consulting & Strategic Communications organization with a multi-sectoral and cross-continental focus, hence our passion for building a rich global brand reputation. I function as the Strategy and Leadership Practice Lead of Armourgate, and I have oversight of our internal & external strategy practices.

We have hired Latitude Space Africa for several projects in almost a decade, one of which was the filming of "Every Child," a TV program on parenting, thirteen episodes of which Latitude Space commendable recorded for us. We had a goal to run a complete quarter of Every Child, and Latitude Space supported us immensely in achieving this.

Latitude Space also helped us with the recording of a documentary of Domestic Violence which we produced soon after Nigeria signed the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Act into Law. More recently, Latitude Space also helped us with the production of world-standard videos that we wanted to position our brand, and communicate our values.

We did a market search and selected Latitude Space based on a referral from a trusted source.

The process of recording videos described above would often commence with a discussion of the episodes/scripts in addition to the selection of the most appropriate venues. The recording itself would then be conducted as excellently as possible, after which we would still endeavor to ensure a thorough edit in a very productive collaboration with Latitude Space.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Mr. Toba and, like I alluded to above, the feedback process was often continuous & very productive.

13 TV episodes of "Every Child" which were recorded from 2013 - 2014, and are still a reference point, clearly constitute evidence of success enabled by Latitude Space.

Their project management-cum-communication style is often inclusive, flexible, responsive, and reliable. The timeliness is also typically highly dependable.

Their values. The values of Latitude Space and the character of their leadership enable us to rest.

They only have to keep expanding and growing because the greatest room I life is the room for improvement.
