We wanted a local partner to help us build a mobile-first website that funnelled sales and donations to one of multiple POP systems while allowing for easier asset development, scheduling, and approval within our team. This new site was to be a major branding opportunity, and we wanted a partner that could help bring our band colors into line with our deliverables.

Because of an outdated and unsupported theme, Ladybugz development team migrated an outdated WordPress Website, which means they rebuilt the entire site with its current esthestics onto a new WordPress Theme. The site is now able to be easily managed and updated by our internal team.

Ladybugz is also currently working with our Google Ads team to design landing pages, and development support.  Ladybugz takes the work away from us by always speaking directly with our Google Ads team to figure out solutions to any needs we may have.

They have made these tranistions seamless and completed them in a timely manner. We would highly recommend Ladybugz to anyone needing quick and great work to their website!

We were completely unable to edit our website. We now have immediate access to our website and are able to make any changes needed on our own and if we are unable to, Ladybugz has quickly assisted. Potential clients were not able to submit inquires to us before Ladybugz assisted us, now we are able to receive all inquires through our website.

The scope of work was a redesign of TLA's existing website, which had not been updated in over 5 years. As part of the website refresh, we needed to update our mission and vision statements and refine our service descriptions to appeal more to purchasers than users. In addition, we needed to update our brand identity and image to indicate our alignment with current research and practice, while continuing to highlight the strength of our reputation and 30+ year history. And we requested a turnaround of 6-8 weeks, to ensure our new site was ready ahead of our sales season.

Our Ladybugz team was reliable, responsive, organized, and efficient. They kept our project on track with regular check-ins, a user-friendly client portal for file sharing, and emails as needed to share quick updates, new ideas, or collectively celebrate project milestones. Our site launched on time, exactly when we needed it to. And because Ladybugz internalized our vision, made expert recommendations, and welcomed our feedback, our new site and refreshed brand have exceeded our (high!) expectations.

We started with an intake and sharing of our current materials, held a discovery meeting with key decision makers, Ladybugz surveyed our constituents, developed and pitched three designs, provided a final design with iterations including secondary on-brand logos for various departments, and promotional materials and a package of supportive graphics along with a brand guide.

The branding materials completely changed the face of our organization since we had all new graphics to incorporate in all of our printed materials, physical and painted signs, digital and print advertisements, social media, product design for our school store, and to use as inspiration for a website redesign.

• Ladybugz created all the pages that we requested and added great design elements. Once completed, we reviewed and they updated all necessary requests. They expedited the project so we could launch on our target date. Once the website went live, they troubleshooted and fixed anything we found that wasn't working,or needed to be changed (including mobile view). They provide a support package that fits our needs and assists when we have updates or questions with the website.

Our website was very outdated and not very user friendly. We hired Ladybugz to help design us a whole new website that reflected more of who we are as a company. Ladybugz also helps us with our social media accounts and our local SEO.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had met with a few other companies before choosing Ladybugz. Our deciding factor was the fact that Lysa and all her employees take the time to make you feel a part of their team. They keep us well updated and always make sure we are completely satisfied with all the work they do. The pricing was very affordable and the communication was great.

After sitting down and talking about our goal and objectives we decided we would need 2 website projects, support and hosting, social media Jumpstart, System training , and monthly consulting. We started with our Website redesign and shortly after that we began our social media Jumpstart package.

After finishing the Jumpstart we meet monthly to discuss areas of improvement and to brainstorm ideas for the future. Lysa has also taken the time to help train us in some of the social media aspects.

In total we worked with 4 different members of the team. We speak to Lysa about our whole project, Crystal handles our social media posting, Aya writes for our website and blogs posts, Frank also took some headshots for our new website as well!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The help and training they provided us has helped us implement new methods into posting on our social media accounts to get more traction. Since Ladybugs has done our websites our website inquiries have greatly improved as well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Everyone on our team has been super helpful and very responsive. Whenever we have questions or concerns they always make sure things are answered and solved- all while helping us understand the processes behind everything.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Lysa is extremally knowledgeable in the website/SEO field. All of our questions were answered with ease and told in a way we would understand. The care that the team takes in each aspect of the project has been amazing, and being able to be so familiar with who is working behind the scenes is such a great feeling.

All and all I think Ladybugz has done a great job with our project. Our websites look amazing and our social media pages are definitely getting more traction.

I'm a manager for the Southwest Virginia Workforce Development Board. The SWVA WDB is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides workforce services to area job seekers and businesses.

We hired Ladybugz Interactive Agency to redesign our clunky, outdated website. Our goal was to present information about our programs and initiatives to the public in a down-to-earth and easy-to-understand way.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We requested proposals from two other firms in addition to Ladybugz. The first firm presented an adequate website, but it was not aligned well with our goal of making our information more accessible. The second firm had worked with another workforce development board in Virginia and offered to use the other WDB's site as a template for ours.

Their solution was unacceptable for us because we wanted to retain our own identity as the Southwest Virginia Workforce Development Board. Ladybugz was the only agency that seemed to understand our goal.

We kicked off the project with a discovery call where we were able to discuss our agency, our work, our challenges, and our vision for the new website. Our project manager and I met weekly to discuss content, photographs, and all other items needed for the website, as well as to review designs, the sitemap, and other details.

We primarily worked with a creative director who was our main point of contact. We also spoke with the COO and CEO several times during the process. There were also two developers behind-the-scenes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the site, we've noticed a significant increase in individuals requesting our services. We've received over 40 submissions through the website in just one month.

We had weekly "huddles" via Zoom, where we were able to review elements of the site and address any concerns or issues. Our project manager broke down everything she needed from me into manageable weekly tasks. The team communicated in a timely manner, and I never felt alone during the development process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed that Ladybugz took the time to get to know our organization and team before any actual work began. Being from the Central Appalachian region, our area and people are often subject to judgment and stereotypes. I have a thick Appalachian dialect and accent, so I've experienced the bias those stereotypes can perpetuate firsthand. The Ladybugz team was very professional and inclusive, and I never felt at any time that I was being "talked down to" as I have with some other companies or agencies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

After launch, we found some minor typos and bugs here and there. We contacted our project manager, and they were taken care of quickly.
