We shared our brand assets with the KB team, and they also performed an assessment of our current paid programming. We reviewed that in detail and discussed the design assets that would be needed to support our launch on Facebook and Google. From there, the KB team put together visuals for us - which we provided 1 round of feedback on.
They also went into our existing FB and Google accounts and ensured everything was properly set up. They also created a landing page in an external CMS (Unbounce) - which we've used to quickly and iteratively test copy, layout, and design to improve conversion. They worked with us to connect Unbounce to our database, so we could directly capture new leads from the lander. With all those element finalized, we went live on our first two paid channels.

The KB has a great process for ensuring that our teams are in tight contact. They set up a slack channel for our team and theirs, where we can ask quick questions and get updates from them. They also send through a weekly update on campaign performance every Monday, and we have a bi-weekly meeting set up for longer conversations.

I’m a senior digital marketing manager for a software company. We’re basically a programmable data infrastructure tool that organizations can use all across the world to help link their infrastructure to the cloud.

What challenge were you trying to address with KlientBoost?
I had run into some issues where I didn’t have the bandwidth to optimize our accounts as much as I needed them to be. KlientBoost helps us with our day-to-day operations, supporting our accounts.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
KlientBoost took over our Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts, and they manage the day-to-day operations for us. They have to do continuous optimizations to our ads, either by adding or modifying custom text, as well as by creating audiences within the platforms if needed.
They’ve created a couple of landing pages for us using Unbounce which has been great for us to test internally. They help us figure out how to drive more conversions to our landing pages and troubleshoot issues. For example, if we get leads that aren’t good, they fix our account to avoid that from happening again.
I can go to KlientBoost with a piece of content, and they help me launch it, creating ads around it. Basically, they act as an extended team member regarding paid search ads.
What is the team composition?
I work primarily with two members from KlientBoost. Currently, Regina (Senior Account Manager) is my main point of contact. In the beginning, I worked with Alex (Senior Account Manager). He was our paid search specialist, but he got transferred to other accounts. Now, we work with Jaime (Senior Campaign Manager), who manages our paid search campaigns.
How did you come to work with KlientBoost?
KlientBoost was a reference from our CEO, who came to us and told us about this agency. At the time, we were interviewing another company, and I wanted to go with them. However, they didn’t do conversion optimization at all.
The only way they offered us to do that was by using a really expensive platform. However, KlientBoost offered us to use Unbounce, which is a much more affordable platform. They also offered conversion rate optimization on top of that, so we engaged with them mainly for the Unbounce integration.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend around $4,500 a month, so we’ve spent over $25,000 so far.

We started working together in November 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
KlientBoost has done an exceptional job increasing our conversions, lowering the cost per lead, and continuously optimizing our accounts.
I measure the success of our engagement by evaluating if they’re listening to my requirements, seeing how many times I have to step in and give them advice, and noticing if they’re continuously optimizing the accounts. Clearly, they’ve been great on all that, and I’m pleased with their work.
How did KlientBoost perform from a project management standpoint?
From the project management standpoint, KlientBoost is doing a great job — they deliver when I need them to, communicate with me, and stick to the timelines.
We usually communicate via email and Asana. When I need something from them, my account representative is usually on top of it. She usually gets in touch with me within a day at the latest when I reach out — she’s really good.
First, we held weekly meetings with them. However, since they’ve been with us for a while, we moved that to bi-weekly meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
KlientBoost’s technical skill in regards to big adjustments is impressive. I used to do enhanced cost-per-click, but they do more targeted cost-per-action. I really like that they’ve taught me quite a bit about it, like how not to be manually adjusting values and, instead, letting Google’s AI do that.
They've also expanded my knowledge of remarketing lists for search ads — they’ve done a really great job of educating me on that. There are some areas I’m really good at when working with Google Ads, but they’ve helped me refine my knowledge — they’ve been an asset for me, for sure.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re a great lead generation company. If other companies or e-commerces need a partner to give them lead generation, they’re the company to go to. They’re on that side of the industry.
However, there are some opportunities for improvement for them in the B2B focus. They’re so focused on lead generation that they have room for improvement on creating whole experiences.
One of those areas is retargeting. KlientBoost tends to get lost in lead generation, and we have a lot of people coming to the site. We want these people to be aggressively targeted when they show more interest in a specific page.

Know your business model really well. Think if you’re trying to attract more leads or if you’re trying to build an overall experience through every step of the funnel.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
KlientBoost was able to set up a reporting platform that accurately pulled and reported the sales, ROI, and other key marketing metrics. We also got a beautiful landing page to optimize the sales flow for online visitors.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had a weekly meeting with their project manager to go over results, goals, and the next steps. Throughout the week, the team responded instantly to emails and made sure nothing got held up.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
KlientBoost's organized platform utilizing Asana and their metric-reporting platform are immensely helpful for visibility and easy understanding of what is going on.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
Getting used to the Asana program was a bit new at first but was pretty easy to figure out. Maybe a brief overview of how projects are created and organized in Asana may have been helpful, but I am sure that the team would have walked me through that if I requested.

In general, we've been very pleased to work with KlientBoost. With our organic efforts, we been able to drive much higher traffic volume. From a PPC perspective. We've significantly increase our lead volume, while cutting CPL in half.

Communication is at a high level with KlientBoost. There are weekly update emails and bi-weekly status update meetings, as well as the use of Asana to keep the team notified of progress. They also provide an amazing Data Studio dashboard that allows us to see reports in real time.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Our account manager, Ari is phenomenal. We also work a lot with Ben, who is amazing from a SEO perspective. The tools are great as well. The dashboard that is provided houses very useful information and insights that help drive decisions.

I would not improve anything about the team or how they work. It's been a real pleasure.

Once we have shortlisted our vendors, we then send out our Scope of Work and Project Expectations along with a Request for Proposal. We look into different factors when selecting a vendor such as how established a company is, which companies they worked within the past, cost of services/goods, customer reviews, value stream map, as well as cost-effectiveness of the solution.

Our engagement started in the Discovery Phase. We had to discuss the current state of the sales and marketing department, what were the initiatives we've conducted in the past, along with the future state/goals of the organization. Based on this, KlientBoost came up with a recommended strategy that includes a very specific strategy on how to improve our digital presence. This includes a methodic approach in ads management, backlinking, etc. Our key objective is to increase the number of qualified leads that come through our website, and so far, we have achieved this through KlientBoost.
