We needed help with our digital marketing, primarily on Google Ads and LinkedIn.

What was the scope of their involvement?

KlientBoost helps us with digital marketing. They first went through all of our Google Analytics and marketing efforts to set a baseline and see where we were. Then, the team optimized everything and tweaked specific tracking tools that weren't set up correctly. 

Afterward, the team conducted an in-depth study of our business and taught us marketing best practices. Once they understood our processes, KlientBoost started creating some digital campaigns for us on Google Ads and LinkedIn. 

Their efforts also include building landing pages for some of our advertising campaigns. Additionally, they've produced two marketing videos for us and written most of the content we use for our campaigns.

The project started in May 2021, and it's ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve done a great job. We've seen excellent results — compared to our numbers at the beginning of the year, our conversions have doubled within the last month. Our cost per acquisition is down by a significant amount as well.

How did KlientBoost perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is one of their best skills — KlientBoost is very organized. We use Asana to track all the projects they're working on, and the team constantly updates it. 

In terms of communication, we have 30-minute meetings every other week. They're always available on Slack, and they respond right away whenever I have any questions. Their response time through email is excellent, too.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service is highly impressive — the team is incredibly attentive and helpful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there's nothing I can think of in terms of what they could do better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend having an internal teammate with a good marketing background who can understand what's going on and provide feedback for the team. However, if you don't have anyone with a marketing background, KlientBoost can help you understand their work.

We tried a couple of different workflows until we got it right. Ended up using their asana board to track tasks.

Overall KlientBoost was willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. They have good resources across different verticals to help step in when needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes communication could be better. They are a fast growing agency so at times felt a little under resourced but they alleviate any issues quickly when brought up.

We met with several team members in a couple of scoping meetings within the first 2 weeks of signing the agreement. From there, we set a testing roadmap, established timelines and KPIs. Progress meetings with weekly reporting were also set to track ongoing progress.

I worked with a four-person team consisting of a director, senior account manager (for daily comms), and several strategists to execute channel strategy.

KlientBoost is literally leading the industry. Their founder speaks at almost all of the notable conferences and frequently contributes to the industry's thought leadership. Their team has been an endless source of insight, information, and new opportunities.

It'd be nice to tie them into our messaging platform or vice versa.

After interviewing a number of agencies both large and small, we went forward with Klient Boost based on a great culture fit, ability to provide immediate solutions as well as support our on-going business needs as we scale our budget.

We had completed a series of questionnaires and introductory planning and strategizing. We set a goal of 30% growth in app installs over the first 90 days and this benchmark was clearly laid out, as well as how we would achieve this.

I believe initially there were 4 individuals. A team manager or something of the likes, a campaign strategist, media buyer, and a conversion rate optimization specialist.

Our PPC campaigns were originally delivering installs at a cost of nearly $200. Klient Boost was able to drive this down to just under $80 per install by the end of our first 3 months. Our social campaigns had been doing well from a social standpoint but did not perform well from an install / revenue perspective. Klient Boost stepped up and made them all highly optimized profit machines!

Great, the use of Boost Flow and the way they report data through bi-weekly calls is perfect.

They don't just talk the talk. They know their value and what they bring to the table, and they implement it with vigor.

Review our overall accounts which differ by audience and KPI, to determine best strategies for search and social. We need to ensure we are not overlapping in our search strategies with multiple web properties, and lower our CPL on social while maintaining or increasing leads.

Klientboost was recommended by another marketer at a different agency who saw great results. We walked through a discovery phase where the team already suggested recommendations about our accounts and strategies. With a small focused team, we felt they filled a major gap.

Discovery which involved evaluation of our accounts in real-time, onboarding from both teams to go in-depth on overall marketing strategies and specific needs by campaign, overall evaluation of the team's tactics and migrating currently running campaigns.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our CPL went down by close to 50%, while maintaining overall lead captures. We also started testing new types of advertisements that had never been in market before.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We meet weekly, with the team providing analytics bi-weekly. We also have access at all times to a dashboard with a breakdown of our activity by platform, month, and quarter. Our teams are both very communicative and the KlientBoost is always quick to respond.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team is incredibly nimble and focused. This was definitely a gap we needed to fill, and Klientboost has been able to work with our other agencies as well for a holistic approach.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to mind - we have continued to extend business to other arms of our team based on quick results.

We've been impressed by how collaborative their team is. I've worked with vendors in the past where they're not as hands-on and they're not invested in your success (aka they were just there to do a job). Klientboost does not fall into this category - they truly feel like a member of the team.

two different account managers, two different creative specialist, two different campaign managers. When we didn't see initial success, they brought on fresh blood to the account that turned our results around.

KB shifted strategies from PPC into paid social at our request, but also based on early indicators of success that weren't coming. About 4 months in, leads from LinkedIn started to come in from our ICP at a steady rate. Their iterative approach paid off.

They use Asana, feedback from our AM has always been timely and responsive. Can be a bit less so from creative or campaign managers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their approach is consultative, there's some hustle to it as well. They are focused on what we're focused on — results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Several times I've had AMs had challenges getting timely responses from their internal team. That needs to be addressed, could be a capacity issue.

Working together with the KB team started with onboarding which was great. We set up our specific goals and gave the KB team background on our existing social campaigns and what we wanted moving forward.

We also sent over design assets for them to use and they then created ads that we review/approve. This is still ongoing and the KB team continues to find new ways to optimize these ads and hit our goals.

The KB team is very professional, but the thing that stands out the most to me is the level of dedication they show when trying to iterate on ways to make sure we're reaching our goals.

We aren't seeing some of the results we wanted to see, but the team keeps bringing new ideas and is working to fix this.

Back in 2018, we released our free Chrome Extension, Connect. Connect was and still is, the best (free) prospecting tool for marketers, sellers, and networkers. At the time, we didn't have the bandwidth internally to devise and carry out a marketing strategy to get Connect in the hands of our audience.

We identified 5 digital marketing/demand agencies. After interviewing each of them, we chose KlientBoost based on their detailed proposal, clear understanding of our challenge, and the professionalism they demonstrated.

The email campaign was very efficient, albeit low volume due to our database restrictions. They were able to achieve a 45% open rate and a 10% click rate, which exceeded expectations. The paid campaign we ran on Facebook and Instagram was extremely successful, resulting in < $1 installs.

We had a weekly meeting set up with our account manager and constant communication back and forth via email. They were always quick to respond and attentive.

It would have been nice if they had requested some additional resources and ideas from our inhouse team - it did seem like they have a specific process to follow, but would have been more effective if they had leveraged some of our in-house learnings sooner.
