The project resulted in a functional and user-friendly Power BI dashboard that effectively visualizes our key performance indicators, improving data accessibility and decision-making. Over time it is expected that we achieve enhanced data integration across multiple units and projects, increased efficiency in monitoring institutional impact, and improved reporting accuracy.

The project management by Kitameraki was generally well-structured, with clear milestones and deliverables. The team maintained good communication and was responsive to our needs, and came to our office in Bogor for specific meetings when we needed them, which was highly appreciated and useful. Our requirements evolved over time and they could make adjustments as necessary. They rightly so (and gently :) put some pressure on us to provide the needed feedback to them so that we can keep on schedule and so they can deliver on time, as we were sometimes very busy with other tasks.

Strong understanding of our needs and data visualization best practices. Could advise us on best visualization options. They were able to create a dashboard that is both intuitive and insightful. Were flexible enough to adapt to feedback and evolving perspectives. Overall, they were very helpful!

The only thing that comes to mind is the chosen use of MS Teams for communication that was sometimes confusing to us, with scattered messages and updates that made tracking discussions and progress a bit challenging. But Kitameraki always made sure to follow-up through other means when we were late in taking some key decisions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project has dramatically changed our way of working. We switched from a clumsy, handmade Excel database to a fast, fully-integrated security dashboard, generating compelling visuals and data within a few clicks. Our clients have also shown much interest to subscribe to this service.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was genuine pleasure working with Kitameraki: they are extremely serious and efficient. They are very reliable, and stick well to the timeline, SOW and budget discussed. What struck us most is that not only do they have a perfect command of the IT solutions they sell.

They also listen very carefully to our needs and genuinely understand what we need (although we work in a sector - security in Myanmar - that no one is really familiar about).
