What challenge were you trying to address with KeyLimeTie?

We have interacted with KeyLimeTie on behalf of one of our main clients – a restaurant chain.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

KeyLimeTie has provided sales and brand building for the client's 3 different restaurant concepts. From the branding side, the work consisted of creating a narrative and telling the story online and in restaurants. Sales building aspects have consisted of the creation and implementation of marketing programs that can get people to visit restaurants. This includes direct mail advertising as well as email and social media marketing. We also rely on KeyLimeTie for SEO [search engine optimization]. KeyLimeTie has built websites for our client's restaurants, cafes, and doughnut shops and has been in charge of updates.

How did you come to work with KeyLimeTie?

Our client started working with KeyLimeTie directly, so I'm not sure what the selection process was.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with KeyLimeTie for 3 to 4 years [as of 2016]. The collaboration is indefinite.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I'm happy with KeyLimeTie's work. We've seen double-digit sales growth for the Chicago restaurants. KeyLimeTie has done an excellent job of maintaining the client's websites. We haven't delved very much into website analytics, but sales are up, and we get a lot of excellent feedback from customers.

How did KeyLimeTie perform from a project management standpoint?

The restaurant business has some strict deadlines around menu specials and other content that needs to be put on the website, and KeyLimeTie was great in terms of being responsive. I definitely feel that KeyLimeTie has our best interests at heart.

What did you find most impressive about KeyLimeTie?

KeyLimeTie is a very responsive company, and they've treated us like a partner.

Are there any areas KeyLimeTie could improve?

KeyLimeTie hasn't done a proactive business review of our work, based on their other clients and industry best practices. This isn't necessarily in our scope of work, but I'm a fan of seeing agencies and subject matter experts stepping across the table and telling clients what they should do.

BACKGROUND

NeWave Television Productions is a Chicago, IL based sports media production company that produces hundreds of ‘network-ready’ television programs that encompass a wide variety of sporting events, reality shows, talk shows, and commercials for clients across the country. The programming airs on ESPN, the SPEED Channel, Comcast Sports Net, CBS Sports, Fox Sports and other regional sport channels.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

We needed to develop and create an application that had the capabilities of storing and playing all of the episode inventory for our television show “Lucas Oil...On the Edge”. We had hundreds of episodes that were made readily available to view through this app. They produced a video streaming mobile app for iOS and Android.

SOLUTION

We were referred to KeyLimeTie through mutual business associates. Their staff worked very closely with our team on several of the development issues, but we left a lot of the creative side to them as they are the professionals in the industry and are most in touch with what's trending and edgy.

They provided all the design, but as the client, we provided television video content. The app was extremely popular with users because viewers could watch shows on the mobile device before they aired on live television.

KeylimeTie provided outstanding service and creativity all throughout the development process, and even though we had submitted a number of different lists of cosmetic preferences and opinions, they ultimately delivered the final product on time.

The KeyLimeTie team was very efficient and professional with great concept ideas. They provided excellent feedback and suggestions throughout the process to help achieve the look and feel we wanted. They also provided one-on-one training with our group to ensure we knew how to manage the site post our launch and on an ongoing basis properly. It helped us grow the company on average 22 percent per year for four years. I would say the new website was a game changer and essential to the growth of our business.
