I’m the CEO of Flowork International, an educational consulting firm. We work with K-12, higher education, and community service programs to help them develop their programs more effectively.

What challenge were you trying to address with iWebServices?

One of our clients was looking to develop a mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our client created a challenge for employment services in their community. We hired iWebServices to help develop an app so that participants of the challenge could complete it on their smartphones. The iWebService team built the mobile app to be compatible with both iOS and Android. 

The app is completed, but as new additions are required or requested, iWebServices provides support.

What is the team composition?

We worked with four people in total: two developers, one for the iOS platform and the other for Android. We also engaged with a QA lead and a project coordinator.

How did you come to work with iWebServices?

We were referred to iWebServices from another organization that had used their services in the past. We started having conversations with them, and ultimately decided they would be a good fit for our project.

We began working with iWebServices in December 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure their success on two levels. The first is whether or not the team meets agreed-upon milestones. The second piece is whether or not those deliverables have issues, and if so, how minimal they are. On those two fronts, iWebServices has been extremely consistent. 

How did iWebServices perform from a project management standpoint?

iWebServices has performed quite well. There’s always good two-way communication, and they’re excellent at keeping us updated if there are any problems that would affect deadlines. We never expected a problem-free engagement, and we appreciated that iWebServices was always upfront when they came up. We felt comfortable with them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The innovation the team brought to the build was extremely impressive. Whenever we brought our ideas to the table, they were always able to provide feedback and improve upon them. It was very helpful as we weren’t aware of all the possibilities there were for the app. Their developers really think outside the box to go above and beyond for the project.

Also, their communication and ability to manage our expectations really stood out from other providers.

I can’t think of anything.

Before going to iWebServices, make sure you work with your internal team to really understand the scope of the project. Having a firm idea of what you want to accomplish, both conceptually and specifically, will speed up the process.

Director of Empowered Achievers. With 30+ years of learning and development experience as trainers/consultants, we partner with organisations, consultants and training companies to support their work in learning transfer and increase performance and behavioural change in people.

We have a full suite of tools - our Empowered Achiever App supports individuals to become more conscious of their personal barriers to learning transfer and supports them transfer their learning by having a 'coach in their pocket'. For formal learning programmes we ensure that a higher % of learning is transferred by the participants into the job, changing behaviour (tracked and measured). We supply hard data on the behavioural change and a final ROI measurement on the people investment.

What were your goals for this project?

To launch an App that supports individuals become more conscious of their behaviour and how their own internal barriers/enablers may be preventing them from transferring learning to their work/life.

Launch of the Empowered Achiever App in both Android and Apple last year. Ongoing multiple projects in project management including web / tool maintenance

Using our PM tool we've learnt to work effectively together.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their understanding of complex architecture allowed them to create systems in ways that have not been done before. They really pushed technology boundaries.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Quality checking could be improved - coders and this goes for every programmer I've ever worked with often look at the project from the perspective of the code/IT framework only and not from the user perspective.

The team was well-supportive, communicative and collaborative. They carried out the development job in a defined way. They contacted my team every time for getting feedback or giving updates about project development. The overall workflow was highly smooth.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The best thing about iWebServices is that their developers possess vast knowledge in the mobile app development domain. When it comes to food ordering development, they are indeed masterpieces.

They always follow the latest app development trends and implement these to make the app advanced and also to increase its usability. They also have a good understanding of the right features, functionalities, etc. for a food delivery app.

We paid significant sums every month and after 4 months we do not have a complete application, full of bugs, unstable, without an administration panel and their DevOps made us increase the AWS costs almost double for no reason.

disappointing development company, which no matter how much it justifies itself and which took us more than 40,000 USD for not having finished our application. Abandons the project without warning each time with a good excuse and they abandon their clients without response for several days with new excuses.

They give up the project without giving any information and didn't finish at 100% the work for which they was paid.

We advise against anyone using their services and we are doubtful about the veracity of sponsors or companies who have entrusted this company with important work such as Sony or others.

Well I ordered this project and soon after they said they were going on vacation and that made me feel a bit skeptical so I told them I was going to go else where to do this app but then he talked me back in to doing this but than it gets worse.

After a few delays they finally started working on the project, I’m guessing they thought it was a win for them because all they did was copy-paste the other project they were working on

They were willing to stretch this thing out as long they could just to not get me a half refund for the work they’ve done and still got nothing with nothing to show for

Maybe if someone wants to back out let them decide on what to do!!
