I am an IT manager at a government institution in Colombia.

What challenges were you trying to address with Ito Software?

Our websites were hosted in an old platform, so we were looking to migrate, renew, and optimize the sites.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They worked in redesigning and migrating the content of our institutional websites. They used the last version of Jungle, templates for responsiveness. In general, the newest technologies.

We worked directly with 3 people.

How did you come to work with Ito Software?

Every project with a service provider in any government institution in Colombia has a bidding process behind. There is a platform that gathers many of the best services providers in the country and when a project comes up they send proposals, so the company that provides the best and most adequate proposal in terms of needs and cost-benefit is chosen for the given project. In this case it was them.

How much have you invested in them?

The total cost of the project was about $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2019 and finished in September 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They met the requirements. The time was limited and they were able to achieve the goals of the project in the expected deadlines.

How did Ito Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They met all deadlines timely, the project manager generated weekly reports. Their team was always attentive and the overall follow up of the project was very good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have provided a closer contact with the development team, we were in touch with just three people that were in-house but there were more people working in the project and I guess that having communication with the developers and not just the project manager would be a good thing to communicate the expectations of the client more clearly.
