The scope included migrating existing content, products, etc from an existing e-commerce website. They were also to add some additional functionality such as a quiz to help users find the right product for their skin. The project was very straight forward and any web professional should have had the skillset to accomplish the work in a timely manner.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
This project was a failure. ITGeeks was unable to meet a single deadline during this project. The "project manager" did not have the ability to manage the project successfully. Communication was difficult with the project manager and the ITGeeks team lacked the ability to execute the most basic requests, such as changing a picture to another picture that was provided, or scaling an image.
We requested multiple calls to hopefully get back on track with ZERO success in getting the project moving at a consistent pace. The team was not proactive in communicating needs or progress without prodding by my team. There were ZERO touch-base calls for progress updates; NOTHING. If we didn't reach out, they didn't provide anything.

The project was scheduled to be completed in November of 2023 and as of March 2024 the project was not near completion. We ended up firing the ITGeeks team and hiring a different group to complete the work. The lack of technical and management skill of the team assigned to our project was appalling. As a 20 year veteran of IT engineering and project management, I would NEVER recommend this team to anyone, EVER.

WE WILL MIGRATE THE CURRENT WEBSITE “flowersofthepress.com“ FROM“WIX” TO “SHOPIFY” AND DESIGN IT FOR “TARA ZARBOCK” USING A SHOPIFY PREMIUM THEME. THE PROJECT WILL BE MANAGED BY A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF EACH AND EVERY ASPECT OF THE PROJECT AND WILL PROVIDE THE BEST RESULTS ALONG WITH THE SUGGESTIONS THAT CAN MAKE THE WEBSITE OUTSTANDING AMONG THE COMPETITORS.

It is still ongoing but I love how the new site resembles my old one while incorporate new and beautiful features!
