We were looking for a company to work with that could help design and bring our new company website to fruition and we were pleasantly surprised by the work that IT GEEKS did for us. They built that sight on Shopify for us setting up hundreds of products to be sold through our ecommerce store. 

It was a very complex project with many moving parts of building a retail store website from scratch and throughout the whole experience they were very communicative and responsive to our calls, feed back and questions. They were able to deliver a professional looking website that has the ability to scale up as we scale up.

We went from having no website presence of our own to having a complete store now that makes us very excited to see how the future shapes up and how we may be able to reach more customers through soical media and other non-traditonal media.

I worked with a couple of guys who I would say broke theproject up into two halves and each did their piece masterfully. Both kept great communication lines up and both delivered on the tasks at hand needed to design, implement and complete the project.

What I found most impressive about this company was how eager they were to make sure that you were happy and that your needs were being met. They had much patience and were keen on giving good advice especially if you were not sure on a certain area of expertice. They really were personable and made you feellike you were working with a great teammate.

I really can't recall anything that egregious that warrants bringing up here to cast them in any sort of bad light at all.

Below is the scope of UX changes we needed made to our code within our new Shopify theme. IT-Geeks delivered everything quickly and ahead of time. They are strong communicators and they always ensure the final product is exactly as I wished for before they wrap up their work. They are not afraid to continue to go back and get it perfect before they complete everything. I appreciate that. 

1. Ensure that the top navigation bar remains sticky in the header without converting to the mobile header while scrolling. 
2. The top navigation bar will now smoothly collapse to the mobile header as soon as it can no longer support a single row, providing a more responsive user experience. 
3. The "Four Easy Payments with Shop Pay" section will be relocated below the product description copy block on the product page. 
4. The image thumbnails will be moved to the left side of the main image vertically, aligning with the current theme's layout. 
5. We will incorporate your custom fonts throughout the entire site, following the copy headline and paragraph sizes from your existing site for consistent font usage. 
6. The "Powered by Shopify" attribution in all footers will be removed to create a clean and branded footer design.

IT Geeks implemented a fully custom product page template for our e-commerce store. They were able to execute against a visual that I provided that showed the styling that I wanted to see across different elements on the page, and also showing variance in ways that I had intended them to. 
There were some tricky logic involved with the toggling between different thumbnails of images on the product pages, but they were very patient and working with me through these issues, and we were able to resolve all of them.
The final product page is something I'm very happy with, and will be a page that we work with for a long time. We also introduced a distinct shopping flow to our pages which would add Meadowfields to the shoppers experience that would direct them to specific pages after adding something to the cart. 
This was also fairly tricky to implement and took several rounds of edits, but again they were very accommodating, and we were able to execute a really solid solution at the end of the day. 
And finally, they implemented many small fixes to various quality of life snags that we had been experiencing on our website since it had been developed last year. 
This included things like bulleted lists, not appearing correctly on our pages, the hamburger menu, not functioning correctly on mobile, certain elements the original developer had created, would disappear at times. They fixed all of these, and give us certain elements the original developer had created, would disappear at times.

Every single scope we hired them for was delivered exactly as they promised. And being more than a month out since they completed each of these scopes, I can attest to the durability of the solutions they implemented. In fact, the performance of our site has improved over the last month.

We had a dedicated project manager who worked with me across several distinct scopes of work. My project manager was very responsive, and they delivered all solutions within the time frame proposed. The only exception was a particularly complex scope we hired them for, which took a few weeks longer than originally expected, but that was ok as there were several unforeseen technical challenges to work through. 
They did not bill us for the extra time on the project, and the end deliverable was of very high quality. The project manager was very responsive, always replying within a few business hours of my questions and requests.

Their commitment to getting it right. There were a couple of times where I felt like a solution wasn't perfect, but good enough to push live, and they insisted on continuing to iterate on the solution until I was fully happy with the deliverable. That really impressed me.

I needed the team at IT-GEEKS to change the colour of some buttons I had already on my website - That was done perfectly. I also needed the lengths changed and the buttons rounded. Also done perfectly. I then needed the number of pages on my product pages to be removed and replaced with button which loaded more pieces on the same page. The button was put in custom. The look, the colour and the size of the button as well as how it performed was all done perfectly also.

We are yet to go live with our website so we do not have an outcome as of yet, but I can confidently say that my website looks overall a lot more welcoming

The buttons are a great way for us to link our rebranding colours onto our website. They are also very easy to us and eye catching. We are looking to continue working with IT GEEKS until we have our website up and running 

Currently working towards a more user friendly platform that our customers can easily navigate. We predict the outcome will bring in more traffic as well set us apart from our competitors

To start, our industry and instore processes were very difficult to put into an online store as there are many moving parts to making the site work efficiently with our instore volume. We asked IT Geeks to create a site for us that looked very luxurious as presentation in the luxury, high end market is everything. 

This project took longer than expected mainly because we, as the customer, didn't realize the scope of the website and how many moving parts would have to be incorporated into the ecommerce site.

Rob, our project manager, was able to deliver all of our requests as asked and if there were any troubles or parts his team and him weren't able to complete, he would suggest other options and work arounds. This was very helpful as we see ecommerce only growing and needed this site to be a staple for our business. We are putting the finishing touches on the site now and hoping to launch next week. 

We appreciated IT Geeks patience as we didn't have prior designs, rather, examples of what we wanted. They were able to take these examples of apply it to the site they created for us and it has ended up looking great.

• We've received great feedback from friends and family and expect this to carry when we launch to the public. This included the visual design of the website and also the functionality of it which was the most difficult part of the process.

This project took longer than expected but I do not attribute this to IT Geeks completely. As a company, we only had a very rough last website and nothing to go off of. Since this was our first official site it took time to critique what we wanted for the design of it. Despite corresponding regularly, we weren't in a rush to get it done as we wanted the site to be quality, with minimal major changes after launch. It was only at some points where there was slight miscommunication and time delay on the changes we requested but this was minimal and did not knock us off course.

We found their ability to make edits to the back end of Shopify most impressive as sometimes we would ask for specific design or functionality elements that we weren't sure possible. They were able to find workarounds or direct changes to ensure we were satisfied with the work they had done.

At the beginning of the project, at some points, we would have to wait until the next morning to see the submitted changes even if they were minor and if the changes weren't 100% we would have to critique after they were made which would extend that change to a two day affair.
