We were able to get on a call within a few hours and I had a detail proposal in my inbox within a day. I was able to suggest a few changes to the scope of work, get a revised proposal back, and start the migration within a few days.

At this point, I was assigned a project manager, Eva, who has been with me every step of the way. I can say nothing but great things about her communication and ability to keep the project progressing smoothly. We communicated back and forth numerous times throughout the project regarding all aspects of the migration, home page, collection pages, product detail pages, etc.

Each time our suggestions and revisions were applied quickly and with great attention to detail.

Just from looking at their Shopify Marketplace profile, I feel like they are a one-stop shop for all Shopify related tasks. From theme development and site optimization to SEO.

I feel that everything went great and at the moment can't think of anything that could have been differently to improve the experience.

We had a customized website theme template that we wanted to update to Shopify OS 2.0. We were worried about all the custom coding and apps, etc. so felt it best to bring a competent team in to complete our update.

We have worked with ITGeeks for multiple projects and this our second theme update to Shopify OS 2.0 and choosing them as our dev team was a no brainer based on past project completion and competency.

Bringing our entire store over to the updated version of Shopify Online Store 2.0, so we could leverage the features that accompany the upgrade. We had custom coding for unique and branded visual display in addition to multiple apps for functions that exist outside of Shopify's native functionality offering.

Eva Williamson was our project manager and though she introduced us to Rahul, we really only ever needed to interact with Eva. She quick and competently communicated all of our needs to her team which quickly delivered our desired outcomes. Eva was a super effective communicator and if there was ever anything we weren't 100% clear about, we would jump on a quick and simple zoom meeting to clear it all up. They had great project management skills.

We are very happy with our updated theme and haven't encountered any issues. All is great and we look forward to continuing to improve our website with the help of ITGeeks.

I'm happy with all interactions we have had and all projects we have completed together. If at any time I requested a change in process for my personal workflow, the changes have been made with grace and completeness. I couldn't ask for a better team.

Our existing code was operating at a painfully slow rate that was making usability almost impossible. Additionally, the overall look and functionality of the website was very dated. The navigation schema was out of date. The Collection pages were not displaying in a way that made sense for our products.

We came to an agreement on the direction of the website beforehand. We discussed content uses and design functionality and began iterating a general look for the website. There was a vision on how to change the Navigation of the site and that was executed rather quickly. There were several versions of how the Home Page was designed. There were several attempts to make the Collection pages display the way we wanted.

We collaborated with a Project Manager mostly. The designer was very quick adapting our changes.

Our new website looks great and customers tell us that they are able to find our products easier.

The project manager was easy to talk with, responded to emails quickly and was happy to jump on a phone call when items were too complex for email communication. It was a very smooth process.

We launched our website last year and while I do website design, I'm unable to edit code or execute the changes I want. IT-Geeks has been our go-to developers to achieve everything we want as far as customizing our theme.

They just finished a job for us and were quick, easy to communicate with, and really great at taking edits and executing them. I'm very peticular when it comes to what I want and they are very patient and easy to work with in making the changes. They've completed multiple jobs for us and I anticipate they'll do much more for us in the future as well.

When I am looking for edits to be done, I usually describe what I am looking for in detail as well as screenshots of the desired design or edit to the website. We communicate through the shopify experts messaging feature and it works great. They will either respond back with further clarification or just go ahead and start working on it and check in with updates. With each edit, they provide a preview and ample evidence of the changes made for me to provide feedback.

I have worked with a few different developers and all of them have been great and easy to communicate with.

Edits made to our website have increased the user experience dramatically on our website and have helped keep customers on the site.

We have used the messaging feature in Shopify Experts and it has always been seamless. I can always count on responses within a day which I think is extremely reasonable. At the start of a project, they give me both the quote and also the timeline. Without extra edits, the timeline is always correct. And if I do request extra edits, they are quick at executing them.

I love that anyone I communicate with from IT-Geeks is kind and easy to communicate with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Occasionally, I'll have to explain an edit that I've already asked to be done. This is rare and is fixed quickly.

Their style is very direct - willing to meet regularly by zoom to go over proposed changes. timeliness is outstanding - one of the requests we made was resolved 10 minutes after our zoom was finished.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most impressive is working directly with the developer, having that person on the team to accomplish the goals. When we brought in a consultant who made some different style recommendations, ITGeeks was willing to develop those changes on a backup site which we were able to review and approve before substituting for the live site.

We've never worked with another developer, so we can't compare or complain about any need for improvement -- all the changes we needed have been due to our own shortcomings. But they have responded immediately to any requests we have made.
