Support in the implementation of a new frontend based on Typescript and React for an established and widely used web application. The basis was a design and usability review of the current frontend based on GWT.

We had a functional product which allowed us to start the test phase at the customer's premises.

All our requirements were implemented quickly and precisely. For high-level technical questions, it was possible to consult the CTO. Towards the end of the project, a software tester was brought in to finalize everything.

The direct and uncomplicated contact with the CEOs was very refreshing in order to start the project as quickly as possible. Every contact person at every level responded quickly and professionally.

The main purpose of the  software that was created is lexicographic processing of vocabulary from the 18th century in order to create a dictionary of the Slavic-Serbian language.

The project team received software that enabled networking of all members, simultaneous work on the processing of lexical units, better communication and faster and more efficient work.

The team of people I worked with was, first of all, very professional and dedicated to every detail during the development of the software, ready to accept suggestions and improve its performances according to our requirements.

IT engine helped us develop our cloud based data collection and analysis system. The work consisted of back- and front end work. The platforma was already developed when IT engine joined, key deliverables were functionality updates to the existing platform.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are building the platform segment by segment, and feature by feature, so the evaluation goes also like that. Anyway, quite frequent communication and frequent meetings allowed us to be involved all the time, and outcomes were easy visible.

Everything was delivered on time, even before deadlines, so there was always a space to bring feedback and other ideas, which were accepted always with full attention.

We were not happy with some of our inhouse developers and we were looking for a reliable company that was 1) willing to work in legacy code and second in a company that is thinking with us and not only just executing.

not really, we have every two weeks a sprint meeting where we discuss the priorities from the past two weeks and plan out the next two weeks. the priorities discussed were met every sprint :-)
