BACKGROUND

I'm the CMO of the leading content collaboration platform for social media teams.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire inventiff.io, and what were your goals?

Our website had been recently revamped, about a year back. Design is at the heart of our brand and product and our website had to reflect that. That led to a website with a back-end that was tangled, messy, and heavy. We needed a revamp of our back-end as well and then constant help with maintaining and developing the website in general.

SOLUTION

We asked around in communities and that's how we met the team. They decided to recreate our website from scratch as they found that to be the easiest solution with the best possible results.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

• Audit existing website
• Recreate website
• Migrate the new website

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing major I can think of now.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm am the project manager for an online sex education company. We educated adults on topics related to sex.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Inventiff, and what were your goals?

Our website had become outdated. Since we didn't have in-house developers, we hired Inventiff to design and develop a WordPress site for us. With the goal to increase our traffic and sales by the end of 2021.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose this vendor based on the recommendation of a colleague. After the interview, we decided to move forward based on the design and technical skills and price point.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there the team developed a wireframe of our site. After providing a few rounds of feedback, their team designed and developed a wordpress site. After several rounds of feedback and editing the team launched the site.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A project manager was our main point of contact. A web-developer and designer worked behind the scenes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our site launched in the beginning of August and we have received positive feedback from our current customers.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had weekly meetings with the project manager, used figma, google sheets to work live on this project. Despite the 7 hour time difference, communication and emails were responded to quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with the clear process and format Inventiff used to take our ideas/vision/objectives and turn it into a clean well designed website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Minor details regarding the design, such as spacing between margins and text boxes were not uniform through out the site. Inconsistent font sizes and responsiveness across devices devices could be improved.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the co-founder and CEO of a mindfulness through social interaction start-up with the HQ in Vienna, Austria.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Inventiff, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile app, but our core team had little coding knowledge. We needed a skilled tech partner, who would be able to build our product and also remain flexible throughout the project.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A friend who works in the field introduced me to Victor. After interviewing Inventiff, we could not help but notice their competence paired with endless enthusiasm for exciting products. In addition, our tech advisor immediately vouched their proposed architecture for our app, which gave us even more confidence in Victor and his team.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We delivered wireframes and designs and Inventiff turned them into an android and iOS app. We were kept up to date during demo days and through screen recordings. Changes we had to undertake were promptly discussed and Victor always gave us his competent opinion.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A senior and a junior developer worked on our app, in addition, the managing director was always in touch with us, keeping us in the loop.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Together with Inventiff we were able to create a more user-friendly product. They brought improvements to our UX/UI, providing us with more than just their development service.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Given the fact that we had to adjust some of the features and designs along the way, communication with Inventiff was kept very casual, through messages and calls. Updates were given in an email thread. Due to Covid we only managed to meet in person once, but working completely remote with them was not a problem at all. Deadlines were promptly met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Contracting Inventiff's services is like having a CTO on board. They get involved in the project and help shape the project, they do not just execute, but come up with improvements in all areas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The time before signing the contract and really diving into the project could have been more structured.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Inventiff. to accomplish?

• Rebuild the AWS infrastructure to enable scaling
• Sabilise backend implementation
• Assist with design

SOLUTION

How did you find Inventiff.?

Other

Why did you select Inventiff. over others?

• High ratings
• Referred to me
• Company values aligned

How many teammates from Inventiff. were assigned to this project?

2-5 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We needed to modernize the technical foundation of our platform and transition to a new backend architecture. The project included redesigning and rebuilding the entire AWS infrastructure, covering the cloud architecture, environments, networking, security, deployment processes, monitoring, and the operational setup required to run the platform reliably and support future growth. In parallel, we needed to replace the existing backend data model with new, more scalable data structures and migrate the existing production data into the new system. This included implementing the new models, preparing the migration logic, transforming legacy data, validating the results, and resolving inconsistencies identified during the process. The main deliverables were a fully rebuilt AWS infrastructure, improved deployment and operational processes, the implementation of the new backend data structures, and the successful migration of the existing data to the new architecture.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was primarily technical, so success was measured through delivery and operational outcomes rather than business metrics such as traffic or conversion.

The entire AWS infrastructure was rebuilt and the platform was successfully moved to the new environment. Deployment processes were standardized and automated, reducing the amount of manual work required for releases and making deployments more repeatable and reliable.

The new backend data structures were implemented, and the existing production data was migrated and validated against the new models. This allowed us to retire the legacy setup and continue development on a more scalable, secure, and maintainable technical foundation.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was handled internally by our team, as their engineers joined our existing development workflow and worked as embedded team members rather than as a separately managed delivery unit.

They integrated well into our processes, communicated clearly, and were responsive to changing priorities, technical feedback, and issues identified during implementation. Their work was planned and tracked alongside the rest of our team, and they collaborated effectively with our internal developers to deliver the required infrastructure and backend migration work.

What was your primary form of communication with Inventiff.?

Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was their combination of speed, responsiveness, and strong value for the cost. Their engineers integrated quickly into our team, adapted well to changing priorities, and consistently responded promptly when technical issues or new requirements arose.

They maintained a high delivery velocity without compromising the quality of the work, giving us access to capable specialists at a very competitive price-to-quality ratio.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Inventiff. could have done differently?

The main area for improvement would be the use of Basecamp for communication and coordination between our companies. We found it less efficient and intuitive than the tools used in our internal workflow, which occasionally made information sharing and follow-up more difficult.

This did not affect our direct collaboration with the engineers, who communicated clearly and integrated very well with our team. Using a more streamlined company-level communication channel would make the overall engagement even smoother.
