Currumbin Clinic is a 104 bed private mental health facility - I am the CEO/Director of Nursing

For what projects/services did your company hire The Innovation Agency?

We hired the Innovation Agency to help develop an app for patient use to give them up to date information on the clinic.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to be able to engage patients and provide them with up to date information on what was happening in the clinic as well as evidence based information on diet, exercise and other therapies.

How did you select The Innovation Agency?

The Innovation Agency had already completed a project for us.

Describe the project in detail.

It is a hybrid mobile app with a WordPress back end for content upload and editing which makes it very easy to keep up to date and relevant.

What was the team composition?

Project manager, senior developer and junior developer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw an increase in patient attendance at groups because information on content was easily available, an increase in interest in day patient groups, increased use of the gym and other therapies and lots of positive feedback from the patients about how easy it is to navigate.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was seamless - every suggestion and improvement was implemented very quickly and there was always support for staff who had access to the admin side of the app so they were confident to make changes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They truly are innovative, suggesting interesting tabs that I had not considered and always ensuring that everything was very easy to use and navigate.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I haver always been very happy with the service that we have been given by the Innovation Agency.
