I’m the founder and manager of a Catholic web platform. The site was created 20 years ago from the merging of different Catholic websites from Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Spain.

The project is still ongoing, however, it includes a complete redesign of the site and its content, as well as some software updates. The project also includes social media strategy.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before Ingenia Agency’s work, we were seeing about 400,000 monthly visitors to our site. Since the implementation of their updates, we’ve seen that number increase by about 200,000.

Additionally, the number of subscribers on our e-learning site has increased from 100,000 to 130,000, a number that continues to grow.

Overall, the quality of design has improved greatly, and we’re happy with Ingenia Agency’s work.

I’m not familiar with the project management tools the team uses, but they work quickly and proactively. Even though our project is pro bono, their services are professional, and they treat us as an important client.

I am a digital marketing specialist at Daimler Financial Services, a financial agency working with automotive companies in Mexico and around the world.

What challenges were you trying to address with Ingenia Agency?

Our goal was to generate more leads from digital channels.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Everything has been digital. We use Google ads, Google search, social networks, mailing, etc. Ingenia Agency has helped us develop several digital campaigns, including a national campaign for our mobile app launch. We wanted people to hear about our app and download it.

Next, they redesigned our website with the goal of generating more visits and leads. They have also worked on smaller campaigns on social networks. Recently, they did a social media campaign to announce our presence at an expo, which lasted about two weeks. At the moment, we are working with them to send a poll to the people we have contacted for quality check.

I worked directly with the project manager, but I don’t know how big his team was.

How did you come to work with Ingenia Agency?

When we were about to launch the first campaign, we did an online search for suppliers. We checked their location, previous work, clients, size, etc. For major projects, we have to invite at least three companies to the licitation—a call for bids. The company that provides the best creative idea based on our budget gets to work on the project. Since we liked their work, we invited them to other licitations. 

How much have you invested in them?

That depends on the project. For the websites, it was about 850,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $43,600 USD), while smaller campaigns cost about 120,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $6,100 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have been excellent, which is why we have continued collaborating with them. Our goal for the first campaign was to reach 5,000 downloads, and we reached 11,000. We also saw an increase in our site visits and online leads.

How did Ingenia Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They are highly professional and excel in project management. We don’t use any specific tools, but they always send their work plans and have always delivered on time. We communicate directly with the project manager, mostly through phone calls or WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have worked with other agencies, but Ingenia Agency has always been our first choice. Their biggest strengths are in design and media consulting.

They could provide more consulting before launching the campaigns.

I can’t provide any hard metrics because the project hasn’t been launched yet. As for the quality of their work and their availability, they’ve been great.

Because we had to work together to build the project, our main communication tool has been in-person meetings.

I work for Si Vale, a company that creates solutions to manage employee benefits and administer expenses management. We are a French group with more than 20 years in Mexico and around 14,000 clients. I am the digital marketing manager.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a uniform graphic line for our communications, from an umbrella visual concept to sales material development and campaign concept development. They are also in charge of our digital marketing, including Google Ads, social media management, display, and more. They do inbound marketing, such as articles and graphics.

We worked with 10–12 people.

We knew them from a reference—our general manager had worked with them before on a previous job. We held a bidding process and they were the ones who adjusted the most to our needs.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work has standardized our communications and given our brand and all our products an identity of their own. All of our communications materials have improved in quality, and we have found creative ways to sell our products.

We’ve increased our number of followers by 20% since Ingenia started working with the account. Our engagement has improved and we have also standardized our social network communication, finding a tone and theme of our own. We have increased our digital presence with eight digital campaigns in the last month and we’ve duplicated the lead generation in the last few months.

How did Ingenia perform from a project management standpoint?

I really feel their commitment to our brand stands out. They are very flexible. Whenever we need a change, they adapt gladly, and in general, they are a good partner for us. Our account is very demanding, but we have been able to solve our daily requirements quite well.

We use monday as a project management tool. We use Hubspot for inbound marketing administration as well as a social media management platform.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re good at following up on all of our requirements and they have been very open to getting to know the brand. Their attitude and availability always make an impact.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing I could mention is that sometimes, even if we have many resources assigned, I sometimes get the feeling that it is not enough to accommodate the agility needed for some things. It seems that our requirements surpass the resources we have assigned.

It would also be better if they spent more time in our office. That would help us get to know our company more deeply and solve some issues faster.

I’m the chief digital marketing and communications manager at a food production company. We’re one of the biggest food producers in Mexico, managing local and international brands.

Around 70% of our products are cooking products, so part of our marketing efforts includes recipes. We’d always done this across all of our brands, but we’ve recently started a project to create recipes that combined products from different brands. Ingenia Agency developed a platform that could host all of these recipes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ingenia Agency created a web platform that allows our users to search through our recipe database. They developed it on a Drupal, using HTML5, CSS3, and other technologies.

What is the team composition?

When first they bid for the project, there were about five resources. Throughout development, I met their whole dev team, which was about 13–14 people.

How did you come to work with Ingenia Agency? 

I had heard about Ingenia Agency when I used to work with various agencies. They’re one of the main players in the digital marketing field, so I’d already received great references for them. When this project started, we contacted several vendors, but they were by far the most superior.

We spent around $35,000.

The project lasted from November 2018–January 2019.

Initially, this was just a small project. But once we started previewing the platform, all of the business units in our company loved it. Ingenia Agency not only understood what we needed for our business, but they also saw the benefits of it. They put a lot of creativity behind it and anticipated how the platform could link to other virtual channels.

The team was great at communication. They actually pushed us to give speedy follow-ups so that they could deliver earlier. In terms of project management tools, they used software that allowed us to review and interact with an online demo of the platform.

They’re a big company, so this is a pretty small project for them. But, despite the project size, everyone from the operations manager to the founder was involved since day one.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first step was to redesign our site and then to develop a strategy to position ourselves on Google searches. They used PHP and design tools. One of the site’s most important features is that we can customize its front page easily ourselves, which allows us to keep our content up-to-date all the time.

There was a project manager, a backend developer, a frontend developer, and other developers in charge of gathering information. It was a team of around eight people in total.

How did you come to work with Ingenia?

They were recommended by one of our suppliers who had already worked with them. We ultimately chose them because they could build us a customizable site—our goal was to work with a team who could understand our audience, and Ingenia offered the best proposal in that area.

We worked with them October 2018–March 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We achieved what we were expecting in the time that we needed. The site was only published a month ago, so we haven’t had the time to measure it yet. However, they did excellent work and offered great follow up. Despite some changes on the team during the project, they were great, and the work wasn’t affected.

How did Ingenia perform from a project management standpoint?

After the changes on the team, we had direct and online communication, mainly through WhatsApp and email. The changes to the site were sent through links accessible on any device in advance for us to see, which made it very easy to work with them.

I’ve said everything.

We had to change the project leader at the beginning, but they managed to solve that pretty quickly. They sent a replacement immediately, so it wasn’t a big issue.

We wanted to have greater engagement with our followers and increase our community, organically and later on, with paid ads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve worked with us to develop all the content for our social media strategies, including the creative elements, the implementation, and the management. This included Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube.

They use Social Bakers, to manage publications and for the reports we receive. They also use a listening platform to do in-depth research for a particular campaign, capabilities analysis, or reputation evaluations.

What is the team composition?

There are around 11–14 people involved, including designers, community managers, creatives, copywriters, and a project manager.

How did you come to work with Ingenia?

We evaluated different agencies, looking for a partner to work with us in this project that was able to manage the volume of work we requested. Five agencies sent us their proposals and ended up choosing Ingenia due to their experience and pricing. We decided to try working with them, and so far we’ve had good results.

The quality of their work has been good. They’ve helped us develop new ideas to give us more control over the platforms we already us and to find alternatives to expand our presence in those and new platforms.

There has been a learning process for both of us as working with a new agency is a challenge, but their work has been pretty good in general. The volume of publications we manage is huge, some that we request on record time and they have managed to deliver.

They use Monday as a project management tool, which has worked wonders. It was a pleasant discovery for us. In general, the results have been very positive on that side. When we’ve encountered any setbacks, they’ve managed and solved the issues properly and improved their account management.
