We consulted different agencies, and they were the ones we liked the most from a cost-benefit perspective. Also, I know them from before and I know they are a professional agency to work with. As it was going to be an expensive development, we really wanted to make sure that we were choosing the right agency for us.

We’ve spent 800,000–900,000 pesos (approximately $32,000–$36,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started a year ago and is ongoing. We’re continuing to work on adjustments with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t published the app yet, but we have already tested it and kids loved it, so I expect it to have a great impact. We want to approach schools and offer the app as a learning tool for their students.

How did Ingenia Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They use a project management tool and send me updates every 15 days. I then approve the advances and send them new requirements. We worked with our own designer, so it involved a lot of teamwork. It was a great experience: they were able to implement what we did with what they had to offer. They met all the deadlines; the only things that were not on time were from our side.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ingenia Agency helped us to strengthen our original idea. What we ended up having was great compared to what we had envisioned at first. They provided great insight and proposals, and in general, they just have a great service. I am sure that any client that hires them will end up as happy as we are.

Everything has been digital. We use Google ads, Google search, social networks, mailing, etc. Ingenia Agency has helped us develop several digital campaigns, including a national campaign for our mobile app launch. We wanted people to hear about our app and download it.

Next, they redesigned our website with the goal of generating more visits and leads. They have also worked on smaller campaigns on social networks. Recently, they did a social media campaign to announce our presence at an expo, which lasted about two weeks. At the moment, we are working with them to send a poll to the people we have contacted for quality check.

I worked directly with the project manager, but I don’t know how big his team was.

How did you come to work with Ingenia Agency?

When we were about to launch the first campaign, we did an online search for suppliers. We checked their location, previous work, clients, size, etc. For major projects, we have to invite at least three companies to the licitation—a call for bids. The company that provides the best creative idea based on our budget gets to work on the project. Since we liked their work, we invited them to other licitations. 

How much have you invested in them?

That depends on the project. For the websites, it was about 850,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $43,600 USD), while smaller campaigns cost about 120,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $6,100 USD).

We started working with them in November 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.

The results have been excellent, which is why we have continued collaborating with them. Our goal for the first campaign was to reach 5,000 downloads, and we reached 11,000. We also saw an increase in our site visits and online leads.

Their work has standardized our communications and given our brand and all our products an identity of their own. All of our communications materials have improved in quality, and we have found creative ways to sell our products.

We’ve increased our number of followers by 20% since Ingenia started working with the account. Our engagement has improved and we have also standardized our social network communication, finding a tone and theme of our own. We have increased our digital presence with eight digital campaigns in the last month and we’ve duplicated the lead generation in the last few months.

I really feel their commitment to our brand stands out. They are very flexible. Whenever we need a change, they adapt gladly, and in general, they are a good partner for us. Our account is very demanding, but we have been able to solve our daily requirements quite well.

We use monday as a project management tool. We use Hubspot for inbound marketing administration as well as a social media management platform.

They’re good at following up on all of our requirements and they have been very open to getting to know the brand. Their attitude and availability always make an impact.

Ingenia Agency created a web platform that allows our users to search through our recipe database. They developed it on a Drupal, using HTML5, CSS3, and other technologies.

When first they bid for the project, there were about five resources. Throughout development, I met their whole dev team, which was about 13–14 people.

I had heard about Ingenia Agency when I used to work with various agencies. They’re one of the main players in the digital marketing field, so I’d already received great references for them. When this project started, we contacted several vendors, but they were by far the most superior.
