Ingenia Agency helped us create a master plan, which included a strategy for blog development for our websites. Their team worked to create this plan focusing on our main brands, and they found a lot of opportunity areas we had to address.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ingenia Agency provided us with the right tools and a marketing master plan that we can now implement into our digital campaigns. We haven’t implemented the whole plan yet. However, we’ve implemented some changes in our communications, changing the tone and ways we used to communicate with our public. These changes have helped us increase our social media engagement.

How did Ingenia Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Ingenia Agency adapted to our schedules and availability. We had meetings using various communication tools.

In terms of budget, we had some setbacks at some point because some of their suggestions weren’t within our reach, such as paying for certain licenses. Our budget constraints are one of the reasons why we haven’t implemented the whole proposal.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ingenia Agency’s openness to different markets is outstanding. They can take over projects and direct them to very different segments. Moreover, they were very committed to their work, exceeding expectations to gather the information we needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, we had great results working with Ingenia Agency,  but their project management is an area of opportunity.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Use Ingenia Agency for all stages of a project to get the best out of them. We only worked with them on the first stage, but we would’ve liked them to implement the plan they developed as well.

The team has changed over time, but we’ve worked directly with the digital manager. We currently work with four teammates: the manager, a social media expert, a Google Ads expert, and an account executive.

They were hired before I started working here. They went through an evaluation process after the company decided to end the contract with the agency they previously worked with.

We work on an investment basis, so it has ranged between $100,000–$300,000 MXN (approximately $5,000–$16,000 USD) per campaign on average.

We started working with them in March 2022, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re in an adjustment period because the previous agency had a different way of managing the campaigns. We’re in the process of fixing the methodology and establishing metrics to make our platform register leads correctly. Therefore, it’s still a work in progress. However, Ingenia Agency has shown great commitment to the project.

How did Ingenia Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

As a company that works with constant new campaigns, Ingenia Agency has been able to respond well to our needs. We mainly communicate using Microsoft Teams; we have a weekly follow-up call.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a good team. Ingenia Agency has helped us respond to any urgent requests that come up. Also, they’ve been there for us whenever we’ve had to escalate campaigns.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more proactive. At the beginning of the project, they could’ve invested more time and effort to consolidate a strong team that could face all our challenges. However, the team they chose to manage the campaign wasn’t the best fit for us. We had to make some changes, which slowed down our work.

I suggest establishing clear deadlines for your internal team and theirs.

I’m a robotic process automation (RPA) developer at the IT department of a property management company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ingenia Agency?

We don’t have enough resources in-house to work on all the projects that we have, so we use Ingenia as a third-party staffing solutions partner to provide us with more developers as needed.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ingenia has helped us with our staffing needs. Usually, we provide them with a job description and tell them exactly what we want. Then, they start finding candidates for us to interview.

Regarding our requirements, we’ve requested developers with two years of experience in automation projects, an intermediate SQL development level, and a good English level. We also wanted people with agreeable personalities so that we could work with them.

Ingenia usually trains their employees in their general code of conduct and protocols. However, we’ve also trained the resources they provide on our specific processes, which is appropriate for our business. I wouldn’t expect or task Ingenia to train those resources for what we do.

Currently, we’re working on a project for which Ingenia provides us with one engineer. This resource focuses on RPA development.

I work with the head of talent and the chief growth officer; they’re my main points of contact from Ingenia. I also know their president and founder.

We already had a business connection with them from a long time ago.

We started working together around January 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our current RPA developer from Ingenia is very strong and talented; he’s fantastic. Thanks to him, we’ve gotten a lot of work done. Ingenia has also provided us with other strong candidates. However, one of them wasn’t a good fit for us because he overcomplicated things, and another one had some issues with getting the work done.

How did Ingenia Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Ingenia responds very warmly and well to our needs. We communicate virtually via Zoom and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ingenia is very friendly and prompt in dealing with issues. Moreover, they offer very good customer service, and they have a quality pool of talent. The resources we’ve worked with also have an outstanding English level, which is great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Some of the candidates we’ve interviewed haven’t shown great English level. Thus, Ingenia could improve their screening process to weed out candidates based on their English domain. Still, it’s very hard for them to know their English level accurately because they speak Spanish internally.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I don’t have any particular advice. Just work with them, and you’ll be happy.

I’m part of the investor relations and executive information team. Peñoles is a Mexican mining-metallurgical company with global reach.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ingenia Agency, and what were your goals?

We needed to redesign our website to improve its performance and overall functionality. It was essential to renew its image, improve the usability of the site, enrich the experience for the end user and facilitate content management for internal administrators.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for web developers and shortlisted 7. We interviewed them and assessed their proposals both in terms of content and pricing. Additionally, our cybersecurity team made tests with them and Ingenia was one of the two developers who passed it. We decided to work with Ingenia because of their skills and expertise on web developing.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

After agreeing to work together, we had a kick-off meeting to discuss the objectives and schedule the deliverables of the project. We divide it into 2 parts on Phase I the main deliverables or steps were: brief, benchmark, look and feel home, work plan, charter, concept creative & technology. For Phase II: Look and feel, wireframes, front end, back end, tests, launch. They used MODX to build the page and provided training on basic usage to several members of the company involved on updating different sections of the webpage.

The project manager was our main contact throughout the process. Nevertheless, through the different stages of the project, we also worked with the heads of design (UX/UI), front and back end, tester, SEO, QA, Content (and their teams working behind the scenes).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are now better prepared to provide key information to our stakeholders and answer the most frequent questions in the easiest way. We can monitor visits to the webpage and we have seen an increase, we can also confirm the most reviewed sections of the page, which is valuable to us.

The Project management's attention was outstanding, she was really neat, distributed meeting minutes, and gave a proper follow-up. The project manager was always available and solved our inquiries throughout the process of the page development.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They usually propose creative and innovative alternatives, they are willing to solve unexpected problems or make the necessary adjustments to reach the best possible outcome. Great design!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They should improve the attention on the deliverables, both on timing and quality, as there were delays versus the initial timeline and typos/mistakes on the information displayed during the building and test phases. Costs are another issue because there were some extras not contemplated in the initial proposal.

We’ve organized the development in a number of sprints, with each sprint focused on one component of the platform. First, we focus on the mock-up for that sprint and then the frontend and backend work follows. That way we can proceed to the mock-up of the next sprint while work is done to complete the front- and backend elements. We revise the mock-up of each sprint as needed until we get it right.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our biggest project with Ingenia Agency was the website development, but we’ve collaborated with them on other projects for SEO, design, and UX.

They’ve restructured the site and made it easier to navigate. We shared our previous website with them and discussed what we wanted it to look like. Then, we did the layout, and they worked on the new site architecture based on that.

Our collaboration has generated a very positive impact. One of our main goals was that the site would help us get more leads, and along with our communications strategy, it certainly has allowed us to do that. Even though we don’t have direct sales on the website, clients contact us through it. 

Also, our agents can now consult relevant information, download invoices, or have online sales points. We’ve had excellent feedback from them.

They meet deadlines most of the time — the delays have been on our side.
