I came to InceptMVP when I had a feeling the current dev on my project was stuck and not admitting that he was not able to build the full scope of what he had originally promised me. Mohsin and his team bravely jumped in to complete a half-finished product, re-build a backend that never existed in the first place, and put up with me using the Figma AI to design all the screens myself instead of letting a professional designer have a pass at it, after I had decided to step in and do it myself when my original deliverables from my first dev were not up to par. They clarified logic, implemented custom coding I could not have done myself, and graciously accepted every ounce of weird and quirky perfectionism I imposed upon them during the building of this mobile application...

Measurable outcomes include the devs collaborating with me to make the app more fun, implementing specific pieces of logic that I would not have thought of myself, and suggesting fixes across the board that made the product clearer, more user-friendly, and easier to use.

I found InceptMVP and my project manager specifically, Arbab, to be incredibly responsive, detail -oriented and highly focused on implementing technically correct and coherent solutions to problems. For the record, I am not an easy client--I have a very clear sense of what I want and  that often may be at odds with traditional application design and logic norms and InceptMVP never hesitated to try and implement my vision without ever second-guessing or questioning me, and in the instances where I required advisement regarding logic/custom coding, they were happy to suggest solutions and implement them.

One of the first things I noticed about this company was that I didn't have to meet with a business person prior to being able to meet with the technical team. That impressed me right away, this company is incredibly focused on execution, which I believe is what really matters in this industry, they are straight to the point, solutions-oriented, and attentive to solving problems. That is the kind of mindset I had been seeking in an agency and I feel is often hard to find when you are surrounded by people who manage relationships and business and performance rather than true implementation.

The key measurable outcomes from this project include:

Successful development and launch of a fully functional cross-platform mobile app (iOS and Android), delivered in scope with live features such as onboarding, matching, paid subscription flow, and background check integration (Cleared to Roam™).

Completion of the custom-built 25-question Vibe Check Quiz that powers user compatibility, match logic, and emotional onboarding — the quiz is now live, conversion-tested, and integrated seamlessly into the app funnel.

Integration of subscription paywall (monthly + annual) and real-time pay-gating of in-app messaging and match visibility — this allows the product to generate revenue from Day One.

Live launch of the Cleared to Roam™ identity verification system, enabling optional user background checks and badge placement for trust and safety. This feature was fully integrated via API and is revenue-generating.

Implementation of the RoamList feature (trip posting system) including trip title, location, dates, cost split calculator, and dynamic Roamate discovery based on profile match data.

Stable infrastructure using Flutter + Firebase across mobile and backend services, with clean user onboarding, real-time data sync, and a scalable base for future development phases.

Everything from the mobile UI to onboarding flow, quiz logic, and background check integration was well-built and aligned with expectations.

The team used a clean, milestone-based project management approach. We communicated regularly via WhatsApp, with weekly updates and quick responses to questions, feedback, or urgent fixes. They were flexible and consistently made space for feature adjustments, pivots, and strategic additions as Roamate evolved from MVP into a more emotionally intelligent solo travel app.

Deadlines were largely met, especially for the core functionality needed to launch (the quiz, profile flow, matching, and subscriptions). For more complex elements like background check integrations and future-facing features (Roam to Remember, identity fields, etc.), the team was transparent about scope and realistic timelines, which helped me manage expectations and phase releases strategically.

They were responsive to my emotional investment in the product and always gave me room to shape the vision and flow — even when that meant mid-build changes. Overall, I felt supported and heard throughout the process, and their communication style made me feel like I had true partners, not just contractors. Even when the scope expanded slightly, they were upfront about timelines and still moved quickly to keep the project on track.

The most impressive part of working with this company was the level of technical quality and development experience they brought to the project. They were able to take a complex scope — including multi-step onboarding, custom logic, background check integration, and scalable trip-matching features — and execute it with precision.

They didn’t just write code — they worked fast, communicated clearly, and always stayed solution-oriented. They understood mobile development at a high level and kept the build clean and efficient from start to finish.. They brought a lot of experience and technical knowledge that made the process smoother and more efficient.

It was clear they had experience delivering real, usable apps — and I appreciated how little hand-holding was required once we aligned on goals. Reliable, efficient, and technically strong.

No — I was happy with the collaboration overall. The team was reliable, experienced, and delivered what I asked for. Communication was solid, and I didn’t run into any major issues during the build. In fact, we're already working on phase two of app updates.

Things were delivered on time or even before. There was some deviation from the planned timeline as they were done with features early which is always a good thing. The very end of the project had some delay as we had some unexpected bugs to resolve and we were slow with testing on our part.

The Project Coordinator was extremely kind in his demeanor and also patient with our requests. We also liked the way they understood a lot of our requests through documents without having the need to clarify much.

Time Management for virtual meetings. Everyone's time is important, but our meetings almost always started late by more than 20-30 minutes sometimes. That said, they did accommodate going over time to compensate for tardiness, so that is much appreciated!

What was impressive was how they brought our app idea to life! They were able to maintain the design of the app as well as enhance various functionalities. They quickly understood requested enhancements and executed them extremely well.

The only area of improvement is with communication. It lagged a bit towards the end of the project, but it wasn’t bad. However, I think we could have been better with communication as well. But they implemented the project perfectly and I wouldn’t have chosen any other team.

We searched online for bubble developers who could work within our limited budget. Incept team was the best choice considering the budget for the project and their previous experience with similar bubble apps.

We conducted a series of interviews with various developers, that could work on our project. InceptMVP, had the best attitude and solutions to our needs. They came with a clear set of ideas and answers to all of our questions. Also, providing their services with an upbeat fee.

We launched the app recently and are still waiting for our metrics to be gathered. But since launch, we have noticed a great feedback, through the app's downloads, mainly on the iOS platform.

Implementation of some design screens seemed a bit harder to tackle. We found an agreement point but definitely, it would be great in the future to achieve them easier.

The project started off small and turned into a beast :) we designed the concept and the screens and then for 2 months worked with incept to implement everything. we had a daily check in where we would cover requirements for the day. we went through several iterations and changed course a couple of times.
