We hired Impactable based on videos their founder Justin keeps posting on LinkedIn. The videos shows how much knowledable he is and how he is getting leads for his own business in $2000 spends per month. 

Thier Sales person promised similar great results and assured how everything will work.

But the reality starts once you go live. The main guy Justin is just not there ever. We had ZERO (0) interactions with him. He has a team and the team is handed over a Standard Operating Procedure whic his like this
 - Setup campaigns, Go live and Forget
 - No optimizations until 3 months
 - If customer asks, why nothing is working - reply on email saying "It takes 3 months for data to be enough to do anything"
- Ignore customer requests about a meeting where customer will ask why things are not working out.
- They promise monthly reports, but all they do is you get a consolidated reports of clicks, spends etc which is already there on LinkedIn's own Ad Manager. There is ZERO (0) insights from Impactable team.

We were there with them for 1.5 Months and we had ZERO (0) meetings booked and their team was not even bothered. They said wait for 3 months completion before expecting anything.

If a business can wait for 3 months, they can just do SEO & Content. Why would they need to pay for Advertising.

Their ability to ignore your goals and behaving like robots who are trained to push projects without doing anything

They are misaligned with our objectives.
At the time of Sales, they could have said we will not be able to get you any meetings from LinkedIn for next 3 months and I would have planned something else. Their founder Justin could have been involved and supervised the project.

We were sold the dream that we would receive leads from companies that needed help with Google Ads. The goal was simple. We would get leads from companies that were struggling to run profitable google ads campaigns.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome was, to be frank terrible. We were promised leads from the campaign, we spent in excess of $12000 on ads and received 4 leads. None were any good. It was a disaster. Our account manager blocked us when we complained. Along with the frontman Justin and the CEO Joshua.

No, they did not deliver on time. When they created assets they were terrible. We had to create our own assets and they used them instead. Our account manager would never take any responsibility for poor performance.

The only thing I found impressive was the way they advertise themselves. They have a front man Justin who is very convincing, he is all over Linkedin promoting how they great they are. This could not be further from the truth. We had our account audited by Linkedin and a third-party agency, both confirmed they wasted all our money.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Impactable could have done differently?

Yes refund my money and when a problem arises do not simply block the client and hope they go away.

Impactble came on board when we lost our in-house LinkedIn strategist. They were to reboot the campaign, drive more leads, develop new campaigns for LinkedIn, and create an effective retargeting campaign.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Impactable spent a lot of money, regularly going over budget, and delivered pathetic results. Our rep Brian said it best, "we said we were gonna do it, and we didn't." They got customer names wrong in testamonial ads, ignored our creative guidelines, and were completely unprepared for every meeting after the sales cycle.

Our final call was embarassingly bad to the point where we removed them from our Campaign Manager before the end of the call to prevent Impactable from touching our LinkedIn Campaign again. The first two ads we ran after terminating the contract out-performed everything Impactable did.

Impactable didn't deliver, late or on-time. We never got a creative tracking sheet, we had to constantly invite new sub-contractors because nobody from the core Impactable team seems to do any hands-on campaign management, and the ads we finally received from Impactable were terrible.

The worst partwas the targeting - our pain point ad group for legal professionals somehow was targeting Wiccan bodybuilders interested in botany and dating apps (I wish I were making this up or on Punk'd, but instead spent over $50k on Impactable nonsense).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am very impressed by how uniquely incompetent Impactable was. I can't find a single thing they did post-sales that was competent. I'll send you the screenshots if you want a laugh.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Impactable could have done differently?

Impactableneeds to re-allocate resources from the sales side to the services delivery side. Everything was bad - the testamonial ads mis-naming our customers, the complete disregard for our brand guidelines, and the total lack of reporting or responsibility.

I’m a marketing manager at CQL. We’re a digital agency that works with B2C and B2B clients, and we’ve been in the business for eight years.

We needed an expert in LinkedIn advertising. We wanted to increase our brand awareness and Linked followers. We required strategic guidance to define the best approach for our advertising.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Impactable manages our LinkedIn marketing. Initially, Impactable provided us with consultancy services for around two months. We used to have calls where we reviewed all our accounts, and Impactable made strategic recommendations. After 2-3 months of consultancy, we asked Impactable to manage our campaigns completely.  

Now, Impactable manages all our ads and optimizes them to ensure we target the right people. Impactable provides our end clients with the respective onboarding documents and sends us reports with the campaigns’ results. These reports allow us to provide specific information about our end clients’ best potential targeted leads.

Impactable sometimes helps with the ads’ copywriting, and our in-house designing team creates the graphic assets following Impactable’s specifications. After we design the ads, Impactable uploads them with the respective text.

Initially, I only had one main point of contact with Impactable. As our company grew and our relationship with Impactable transformed, they assigned us a new account manager. We also work with another teammate from Impactable who reaches out every couple of months.

We found Impactable on LinkedIn through a series of video ads they made. The videos seemed professional, and I contacted Impactable to ask what they could do for our company.

We started working with Impactable in June 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The main metrics we look at are our ads impressions and click-through rates. Impactable helps us target the right audience for our industry. 

How did Impactable perform from a project management standpoint?

Impactable’s timeliness is excellent. We communicate through virtual meetings and LinkedIn messages. Getting in contact with Impactable is easy, and we can reach them anytime because they’re always online running campaigns. We also communicate through Loom and email. 

We meet with Impactable every two weeks to check the performance reports and discuss our project’s next steps. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Impactable’s expertise impresses me the most — we noticed it from the advertising they made for their brand before we started working with them. Handing over our LinkedIn marketing to Impactable has been really beneficial for our company. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d like it if Impactable would inform us precisely what they’re working on each month. They always answer my questions, however, it’d be nice for Impactable to provide that information upfront.

Our goal is to help direct marketers and direct mail service providers learn about our capabilities. We were seeking experts in Account Based Marketing and LinkedIn, since LinkedIn is our most effective new business channel.

We tried several onshore and offshore vendors previously. While some were good, none provided the full range of expertise we were seeking. Impactable offers not just LinkedIn services, but also manages other digital ad channels. Our biggest challenge was that we needed to activate our highly targeted custom audience we developed internally.

The team identified a number of improvements that reduced our cost per demo meaningfully. In fact, we are so thrilled that we invested in their business.

Impactable has well developed processes for each service they provide.

You can find LinkedIn connection management services. You can find digital ad campaign management services. It is very difficult to find a cost effective and highly skilled LinkedIn advertising management firm. And it is almost impossible to find one that does all of the above.

We like to be "hands on". They are still developing the software to allow clients to use their tools directly. But the early versions we have had access to look very promising.

This has been a long term engagement where we helped onboard Impactable to enable them to better understand our client and their audience. They came up with a methodical plan on what the approach should be.

Over time, the plan has been refined based on what's worked and hasn't worked as well as our client priorities. Impactable has been in charge of the execution of the plan as well as reporting.

I initially found Impactable on Upwork. We had a great discussion, they understood our needs, and their pricing fit our budget perfectly. We decided to move forward using Upwork for the first few months and then after a very successful completion, we moved to a direct retainer with them.

Impactable was hired to create a LinkedIn paid advertising strategy for one of our clients, a wholesale book provider. Our goals were to

• acquire new leads in our marketing funnel.

We provided the copy/creative and Impactable executed the strategy, campaign creation/deployment and ongoing management, all while providing weekly progress reports with key insights and recommendations.

We were very satisfied with the results from Impactable's team. This was a first trial on LinkedIn for this client and they were able to begin generating revenue from the platform shortly after launching the campaigns, leading to a positive ROI and establishing a successful advertising model.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. Couldn't be easier. We would provide the creative/copy, our main objectives and insights on our target audiences, and Impactable would get to work IMMEDIATELY. I was continuously impressed with just how fast they were able to deploy campaigns and anytime we requested an update or change, there was never any pushback and their team handled it flawlessly and in record time. It's rare to see an agency that works this efficiently and it was greatly appreciated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Two components:

1. Their expertise with LinkedIn advertising. LinkedIn can sometimes be difficult even for the experienced digital marketer, but Justin and his team knew the ins and outs of the platform and algorithm better than anyone I've come across before. This knowledge consistently shined throughout the work they provided and was instrumental in leading our campaigns in the right direction. They truly are LinkedIn experts.
2. Response/Turnaround times: As noted earlier, we were blown away at how efficient they were. Anytime we needed to deploy a new campaign or make a change to an existing one, it was done incredibly quickly and without error. No pushback. No requests for additional time. I simply sent a request, Justin would reply quickly saying they were on top of it, and I knew it would be done right and also done fast. Their ability to do this time and time again was such a huge value add.

No. We were pleased with every facet of the services provided.

We talked about automation, and LinkedIn ads as well, and how those played in to the mix. From there, the Impactable team wrote our sales script to use for our LinkedIn messages. After approved by me, they set up the campaigns, and we were live! I worked with them for over a year, and their management of the projects were great.

I enjoyed getting updates and the easy access I had with their team.
