I’m the head of digital for a biotechnology startup focused on developing and delivering COVID-19 vaccinations. I oversee all digital efforts.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ignite Visibility?

As a quickly-growing organization, we needed to build brand ethos over a short period of time. We brought them in to help us develop a new website and provide us with digital marketing services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the first phase of the project, they built the website in WordPress. We previously had a hastily-built Squarespace site for our organization. They quickly replaced this site with a temporary solution while they took the time to properly build us a new site. For the digital marketing portion of the engagement, they handled media outreach, social media content creation, and SEO services.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Oscar (VP of Creative and Web Dev.) as well as their interactive project manager, their social media content manager, their SEO project manager, and a couple of content writers.

How did you come to work with Ignite Visibility?

The decision to work with them was made prior to me joining the project, so I can’t speak directly to the decision-making process. However, my team has told me that we picked them due to their track record and the glowing recommendations we received from our investor group.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $25,000 for the site portion of the project and $32,000 for the digital marketing portion of the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August 2020–January 2021. We paused and then restarted the effort part way through the engagement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For the digital marketing portion of the project, we tracked growth and engagement on our social media platforms. It was clear that their work directly drove growth in our online presence. On the web development side, our investors and internal executive stakeholders were impressed with their work. It’s too early to truly gauge the value of the site, but in the immediate term, those who didn’t like the old site have really liked the new one.

How did Ignite Visibility perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great with structuring regular Zoom calls to keep everything on track. Outside of these calls, we communicated via email and Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team was flexible and proactively contributed ideas that drove the success of the project. Other firms I’ve worked with have been content to simply follow project requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would have appreciated them pushing me a little more in providing my approvals. That way, they could have kept moving forward rather than waiting for me. However, I know this can be hard for a vendor.

Be open creatively and consider their ideas for your project.

I’m the owner of a therapeutic that goes into people’s homes, provides IV hydration, and treat individuals with chronic illness. Additionally, we provide health and wellness services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ignite Visibility?

We work with Ignite Visibility for marketing purposes including SEO and PPC. The goal is to increase brand awareness and expand our business range. We’re using them in multiple situations currently.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ignite Visibility is continually optimizing our web page and SEO — handling all the digital wizardry that goes into that including blogs, internal linking, and more.

They’ve also worked with outside companies to establish external links and provide cross-pollination in that respect. They also deal with all of our Facebook and Instagram paid media and Google Ads — really, any of the major platforms out there. We work with them to develop and establish our brand name and our company on those platforms.

What is the team composition?

Right now, we have a team of 8–10 people that we deal with regularly, but we’ve had up to 20–25 people engaged with our company at a time. Our standard team is 8–10 people that are continually working on our stuff or overseeing projects.

How did you come to work with Ignite Visibility?

I reached out to somebody that we knew in the marketing world, and they’d heard of Ignite Visibility. It was a personal acquaintance. We liked Ignite Visibility's website, and we hadn’t heard anything bad, so at minimum, we wanted to hear what they had to say, but we ended up being very impressed with what they brought to the table.

We let them know what we wanted in the form of a rough framework before our first Zoom call, and they did a lot of background research. At that call, presented on our SEO rankings and some of the areas for improvement they’d identified regarding our web page, SEO, and paid media. Not only did they hear us out, but they told us what they could do. That’s really what sold us to give them a chance.

We’ve spent around $250,000–$300,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since October 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve exponentially grown our business and continue to use them in our other business ventures outside of Mobile IV Nurses.

I don’t have the exact numbers, but we look at our statistical metrics like our Google rankings for specific keywords. They’ve been able to get us on page one for both our ads and our keyword searches. Given the newness of our business and website, the fact that they’ve been able to get us page one and page two rankings is very impressive. They’ve worked diligently so as these aspects of Google’s algorithm lapse, we’ll start ranking higher and higher.

How did Ignite Visibility perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform very well. Together, we use Sprout Social, which allows us to go in and see the calendar of what ads are scheduled, review the ads they’ve put together, approve them, and collaborate on any needed changes.

They also use Basecamp, which I’m head over heels for because it allows us, as the end-user, to go in and communicate with their entire team. We can see what projects are up, what their status is, and communicate about them. It also allows for live feedback. It’s a great platform to keep individuals in the know about where everything is.

Basecamp is our main communication tool for day-to-day communication, but we also speak over email and Weekly Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team functions like it’s a part of my company. When we have communication, they provide feedback and listen to what we’re saying, even if it’s a challenge we’re raising. They’ve taken strong ownership. Rather than being a contractor, they come to the table like they’re a part of our team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any feedback. Because each industry is different, you’re going to have ups and downs when Google and other platforms change their analytics models. It’s a continual learning curve — not to mention that we’re in a niche business area, so they’ve done an outstanding job coming up to speed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They are a great group of individuals that will take care of other customers just as well as they take care of us.

I serve as board president for Every Kid Sports, a GuideStar Platinum Transparency-awarded 501c3. Our organization helps low-income kids play youth sports by covering registration fees up to $150, four times a year, per kid.

We intend to be a household name. We have this intention because cost can't be the reason a kid is kept out of youth sports. Ignite Visibility was hired to help expand our reach, share our intention, and do so strategically. By becoming a household name, and generating the necessary resources, every kid will have the chance to play sports.

Our goals for working with Ignite Visibility were to, at a minimum, 5x our social media following within 12 months. Amplifying the visibility of our organization, our mission, and our impact was the first step in reaching this goal.

I'd built a relationship with one of the founders outside of my role as board president. When Every Kid Sports made the decision to re-brand and set sights on a national reach, we knew we needed help doing so. It was perfect timing for both organizations.

We've dramatically increased the visibility of our organization. Each month we're updated with growth numbers, detailed metrics, and strategic direction in response to the data, and each month we're introduced to an ever-expanding pool of potential supporters.

Easy. Informative. Well-prepared. Thorough. And fun.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The enthusiasm for the industry they're in, their knowledge of it and how to navigate it, and the support they've provided Every Kid Sports beyond the services we've contracted with them.

How did you select Ignite Visibility?

We reviewed several digital marketing providers and our selection of Ignite Media was based on their comprehensive package for going to market and their knowledge of our company's industry. Additionally, their insight into Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook marketing were very impactful to ensure we were expanding our reach as far as possible.

After selecting this vendor, we had an initial kick-off call to assess our current digital footprint. We then spent time on strategy and evaluation of tools and actions needed to achieve our goals.

Weekly calls were set up for each aspect of the services we were hiring them for to ensure that progress was reported, pivots were being made on items that fell short of goals, and strategy sessions on the next steps were discussed.

We have had access to subject matter experts and department heads for all aspects of the work we contracted for. We have a dedicated team of employees devoted to our brand and new members are engaged as needed to ensure answers are given when asked or clarification is provided.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since beginning our work with Ignite, we have seen a growth in leads for our sales reps. In addition, we have exceeded expectations on website rankings and social engagement, and follower growth.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Ignite team and our team have had zero issues in communicating and tracking all progress. We have a seamless workflow that ensures new tasks are tracked, new requests are entered and feedback and approval for all items are accounted for.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The dedication of team members has been phenomenal. We have a subject matter expert and extra resources on standby to ensure goals are met. The interaction between the two companies is seamless and response times are instant.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly can say none. Ignite Visbility has helped us identify holes in our efficiency for sales and has been there to help us address. We have scaled worked up and down as needed to be flexible for current situations and for future growth.

Prior to Ignite, we purchased leads through various websites because our website wasn’t optimized for organic growth.

Ignite essentially manages our SEO initiatives. They help us enhance our website as well as write website content and blog posts. They post on our social media platforms too, so Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

I currently work with Yves (SEO Project Manager), Sarah (Social Media Marketing Specialist), and Izzy (Digital Public Relations Manager).

We found them through a referral and chose them based on their reputation in the market.

We spend about $45,000 a year on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our ongoing partnership in March 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’re dedicated and bring a lot of ideas to the table. Their work on our website resulted in an increase in organic traffic and leads thereby increasing sales. The leads Ignite pushes through our website convert at a higher rate because the people coming to our website either read our content or found us through searches. Our sales have increased a lot.

How did Ignite Visibility perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Basecamp as our project management tool and have biweekly marketing meetings. Their team has changed but fortunately, it has never made a bad impression. Their entire team’s great, and they’re on target.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I only leave reviews if I’m impressed, and I’m more than happy to leave a review for Ignite. It’s easy to work with them. They’re definitely dedicated to us and show a genuine interest in our campaigns.

No, not at this point.

Go with Ignite. That’s the team you need if you want to increase your sales through organic traffic.

I’m the owner of Rocket Resume, a business that helps people quickly and easily build their resumes online and then apply for jobs. We offer data on 50,000 different job titles.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ignite Visibility?

The challenge was to grow our marketing from $30,000 to $350,000 a month.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re primarily using Ignite Visibility to manage our Google Ads and Analytics, but they also do SEO and other types of digital marketing.

When we began working with them, they did a deep dive into our business. They determined the best way to market our business and continue growing it from both SEO and Google Ads perspectives. They set up campaigns and tests to analyze everything. They do continuous research and testing to make sure different campaigns are optimized and performing well.

What is the team composition?

I work with Eric (Senior Paid Media Strategist) and one other person. They make sure I’m taken care of on a week-to-week basis. 

How did you come to work with Ignite Visibility?

I researched the best marketing companies over several months. I reached out to 20–25 different companies, and I chose Ignite because they weren’t taking a cookie-cutter approach. Instead, they tailored their services to my specific business. 

They were also competitively priced and had some good experience. I felt like their company was well-marketed itself, which helped my decision. I talked to a bunch of people from Ignite, and they impressed me. They seemed up to the challenge of scaling the business.

My fee is $10,000 each month. They take a percentage of my ad spends, so it’s been increasing.

We began working together in July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

To date, they’ve increased our ad spend 5X and dropped our customer acquisition cost by about 40%. It’s impressive to grow a business in volume while also acquiring at a cheaper rate.

How did Ignite Visibility perform from a project management standpoint?

Ignite is great — they’re easy to work with and on time. They respond to emails and are constantly coming up with new projects to keep pushing things forward, so I don’t have to. 

We communicate via Zoom calls every other week. During those calls, we discuss how the account is doing and what they’re planning to do to improve the account. They take a very analytical approach.  

I can also email them or text their personal cells. They use Basecamp, which is a useful project management tool. They’re pretty disciplined in using Basecamp for all of their work. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Technical know-how and experience working with and scaling businesses of different sizes distinguish Ignite. Their performance track record is also impressive, and they’re well-priced for scaling.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When it comes to Google Ads, they’re on point. I always appreciate more ideas and tests, but I know they’re managing others, so I don’t consider that a negative.

Any advice for potential customers?

Ignite is easy to trust. They know what they’re doing and have experience working with small, quickly growing clients such as myself. Their experience speaks for itself. You can step back and trust that they’re performing.

I am the head of marketing and branding for global fitness franchise Jazzercise, Inc. With 8500 franchisees in over 25 countries, we are one of the largest fitness brands and the only with 51 years of pioneering the industry.

Our day to day team is comprised of 3 highly-skilled thought leaders Luz Ellis, Jenna Long and Carolyn Krokus who are backed by a team of specialists, all of whom consult on our business.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are seeing higher purchase conversion from advertising than with any other vendor but it is the attention to the account that feels the most fruitful outcome. The team is genuinely interested in our programs and promotions and in finding ways to funnel them to the gen pop. We are 6 months in and on the verge of handing them another large piece of our marketing business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We're pretty sure they are managing us, LOL. Luz Ellis is a strong team leader who comes ready with an agenda based around driving our business forward. We at Jazzercise bring ideas, timing, promotions and Ignite reflects back how to make the magic happen. When we need more in-depth analysis, other thought leaders are brought into the conversation. We feel well supported overall.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The way they built our support team is as unique as our business. It's like we all just fit together - and therefore get more accomplished in less time.

We hired Ignite to help us optimize our site to improve our SERP presence and to help drive app downloads and views of our content. We also engaged them to help find other ways that SEO can help drive towards our business goals.

How did you select Ignite Visibility and what were the deciding factors?

We had lengthy conversations with several similar agencies and spent most of H1 2020 considering our options. Ultimately, Ignite won us over due to a combo of personality, price and their perceived expertise in the space.

Ignite started with a technical audit and followed that up with a roadmap of updates and implementations that we continue to work through. Additionally, they provide regular keyword audits/recommendations and other content related research. They have also done some backlink research and outreach for us.

We meet weekly with a Digital Marketing Strategist and SEO coordinator. We also regularly interact with a Digital PR Manager and a Social Strategy Manager. Finally, their COO and Customer Success Manager routinely check in and make themselves available to us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ater the first 3 months, we saw a measurable uptick in all key metrics that are relevant to the work they are performing. Ignite has met or exceeded all expectations since we've began working with them.

The project is managed via Basecamp in a very organized method. All related documents and info can easily be found via that portal. Ignite has also learned both our CMS and our project management platform, and uses both regularly. Finally, we have a monthly meeting to review a monthly report, along with a quarterly business review.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our DM strategist has a tremendous personality and effortlessly conveys an impressive level of expertise. He also does a fantastic job of responding and reacting to our ever changing needs and requests. That effort - combined with the efforts of the other key Ignite team members that we interact with - leads to them feeling like a true partner and an extension of our internal team.

They adopted our internal communications and project management tools, allowing us to communicate easily without having to jump to a different system. We use these tools to house all work, and communicate throughout the week.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciate their collaborative style, and willingness to adapt as our needs evolve. I really appreciate our digital lead - we trust him to provide a strong perspective on our questions, and he's extremely responsive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I’m the director of practice development for a wealth management firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ignite Visibility?

We hired Ignite Visibility to promote a book that our CEO was getting ready to publish. This book took a holistic look at the journey to financial freedom, which is our competitive advantage.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Ignite Visibility does our digital marketing. The team was initially responsible for doing paid advertising to help promote book sales up to its October 2020 launch. In conjunction with that, they designed the creative assets that would be posted on our social accounts, including videos and infographics. 

Since the book launch, they’ve continued to help us drive sales by setting up social media channels specifically designated for the book on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. This has also involved creating videos and infographic assets, which we post a few times a week on those channels.

What is the team composition? 

We worked with John (Co-Founder & CEO), Oscar (Creative Director), Tyler (Business Development Specialist), Savannah (Paid Social Media Manager), Christian (VP of Performance Marketing), and Nicole (Director of Digital Strategy).

They were already working with a peer of ours who had a chapter in our CEO’s book.

It’s been about $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in July 2020 and is ongoing. The book went live in October 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were initially measuring success by how many books we sold, and, now, we’re measuring by leads. So far, we’ve seen good results on both ends. As for our collaboration with Ignite Visibility, they’re really pleasant to work with, stay on track, and do a nice job with the creative.

Ignite Visibility is very practical and high-energy. Their speed, effectiveness, and creative assets are really good. Also, they have a good handle on how the creative interacts with the channels and distribution.
