We needed help with SEO and social media marketing (SMM).

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hats-Off Digital Pvt Ltd. provided SEO and SMM services for us. I started by explaining our entire business and what we do, and then they did basic market research.

For the SEO portion of the project, their team provided technical and non-technical optimization, where they wrote our content, did our technical hygiene, and maintained our website. In addition, they did keyword research and targeted works for people that were looking for online learning.

For the SMM part, they focused on posting on Instagram and other social media channels — their idea was to capture the humorous part of music by using memes. In addition, they were responsible for handling the comments on our social media channels and writing our blogs.

Thanks to their work, we had an increase in social media followers, growing from 500 to at least 4,000.

How did Hats-Off Digital Pvt Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was average; there were some delays, but 80% of the time, they delivered within deadlines. In terms of tools and communication, we used WhatsApp and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were pretty average.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Rather than doing 500 different things, they need to focus on fewer tasks.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They're not the best people if you're looking for an agency that will supply intelligence to help you build user insight.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hats-Off Digital Pvt Ltd. handled our SMM needs. They managed our Instagram and Facebook pages, keeping them active by continuously posting content. They actually created a content plan every month, which included special posts during certain months. They were also tasked with replying to comments and researching relevant hashtags to further improve the organic reach of each post.

Our primary goal was to increase the reach of our social media channels, like increasing followers on our Instagram and responding promptly to all comments and direct messages. All of these were achieved.

Their project management skills were average. They had a template that they shared with me, but they didn’t discuss any reports with us. We typically communicated through WhatsApp. For project management, we used Google Docs and Sheets.

They didn’t come up with many ideas, and I found them pretty much the same as any other agency.

They need to understand the client's business at a deeper level.

They're not good with analytics, so make sure you analyze everything yourself.
