The project began with the client asking for a complete redesign of their website, as their old site was slightly outdated and didn't align with the company's vision of themselves. This then led to their design team creating several Figma designs of how they wanted the site to look. Once these Figma designs were finalised and agreed on, they were handed over to the developers, and they began developing the site in WordPress.
We needed them to act quickly as the client gave us a short timeline to deliver the project. Once the site was pushed live, we had to make several changes each week due to additional client requests. They were very accommodating and helped the whole way through. We require a high level of quality assurance due to the nature of our clients and the fact that we do not have any development personnel in our team. The main aim of this project was to create a clean and interactive site where users found it easy to navigate through the site.
The next stage of the project is to conduct some refactoring so that we can proceed with changes in the future. They have provided lots of documentation regarding the process, and this has helped reassure us of their processes.

We hit the original deadline, which the client was aiming for.

The most impressive aspect of GDD is their responsiveness and willingness to help out. We were amazed when our main PM went on annual leave and they had already scheduled a new PM to come in and take over during her absence. They were briefed properly and were a massive help during the two weeks which our main PM was away.

The only thing we would like to improve is the ability to future-proof sites so that when we are looking to organically grow them, we don't run into issues further down the line. This responsibility also lies with us to ensure that we brief the PMs and developers properly so that they can understand where we are looking to grow.
