Genatec has been managing our IT infrastructure for years now and following a new business acquisition, we needed the help of their team to onboard new users and assets.

Key deliverables included (but not limited to):

• Migrating all users' mailboxes into our domain
• Configuring hardware for new users
• Adding new users into our infrastructure
• Providing the correct licenses
• Migrating data from physical server to one drive, teams and sharepoint
•  Redirecting websites
• Moving new domains into our Microsoft tenant
• Delivering everything within a short timeline
• Asistance with day-to-day inquiries and post-migration questions/issues

• the number of issues and severity post migration (very little and very manageable)
• the ability to troubleshoot fast and efficiently following the migration
• strategizing beforehand to make sure we thought of everything
• User experience as a whole

Yes - even though we had to change the date twice, the team was always very flexible, thinking of solutions to help us meet our business goals. Everything was done on time and exceeded our expectations.

The fast response I would get from the team, especially Sergio and Farid. They were always available for our questions and I never felt like we were alone at any point throughout the journey. The service is exceptional.

Genatec was instrumental in setting up our business in 2013 and offering support though out the years. When we moved location (twice), they took care of all our needs.

We were referred to Genatec.

Genatec assisted us in setting up all our IT needs including the VoIP telephone system and our Sonic Wall firewalls for our office set up in 2013. They were always present and helpful throughout the process.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our initial contact in 2013 was Domenic and then Cam took care of our Sonic Wall needs. Genatec coordinated the wiring and IT setup within our office, then in 2015 when we moved to another location. They also assisted us again in 2020 when we moved back near our first location.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Each set up (initial one in 2013) and subsequent moves (2015 and 2020) was smooth and seamless. We never lost service or ability to use our IT services. For a small dynamic company like ours, their efforts were and still are greatly appreciated.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Before beginning we had a discussion and came up with a plan to ensure a smooth transition. The communication was clear, and the execution was stellar.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are able to guide us in all our IT needs and needless to say we believe that they are always providing ABCD service (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For the time being, I do not know how they could possibly increase their level of service for our needs.

A major change for the company from moving to homebase made accounting to full fledge SAGE300 accounting and ERP system. It was a major and much needed move for Company to ensure that we have the tools needed to move forward in today's digital society and business. Accounting and GL was set up for our warehouse and stores, along with an inventory management system. this is to ensure the process of receiving and picking and shipping was moving in the right direction.

Move to new system was a success but still need to tweak the system to help us move in correct direction that we hope.

We have different project phases, such as analysis of current policy's and how to apply to new sage system - was done on time. Implementation took some time and was within time allocated. Right now, we are going to a new project soon to make the warehouse to keep better inventory and better business processes.

We calculated how many transactions are now entered using the scanners. We accounted for the time it took for receiving the merchandise and creating the transaction in the system (before and after implementing the scanners).

There was a project manager assigned to our project. A timeline was created to manage the scope of our project. We had users assigned to each task as well as a date of delivery. When the project went live, their support team was readily available to help our users implement the new project as seamlessly as possible.
