Our Web application had a lot of UI bugs that needed immediate fix. We had a set of complex features in pipeline to be implemented after bug fixes - features such as Role based Access for different stakeholders using the platform, Audit trails/ progress reports, functionality to invite users to the platform.

Daily syncups were very helpful in keeping the progress of development on track - it helped clear any doubts early and kept us informed of the progress. All items were delivered on time. When one engineer had to leave the project in between because of unforeseen circumstances, GeekyAnts promptly assigned another qualified engineer who ramped up on the project quickly.

The company was undergoing a brand refresh which required a complete rebuild of the existing marketing pages. Our initial goals were to launch the homepage, then progressively rollout the remaining pages of the site.

The pages were built to the specifications provided by the designs. During the build we would be in constant contact to adjust the designs as necessary and provide guidance on API integration. The pages were all built using Nuxt.

We are very happy with final result of the launched pages.

We had daily standups, where our team (design, dev, PM) would bring questions/feedback, and the build team would bring their questions. From there we would triage the issues, solving some in the standup, and others later in the day. A single line of communication was established, where all work to be done was to be put in Jira, and the build team would drag that into the sprint post any required clarification. Additional communication was done via Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was very impressed with the proactivity of the dev team when presented with problems. We would often encounter design issues, and the team would present a number of solutions in our daily stand ups. With the challenge of different time zones, this has been very effective.

The delivery was in 3 milestones, We get deliverables that can be used and tested at the end of every month. After the UAT phase, the scalable production application was deployed to our AWS cloud space.

Yes, the product was delivered to us in time and at spec. We were able to get started with it as planned and the product is of good quality and we are able to have our vendors receive the opportunities that are being matched with them.

Our app requires a lot of manual testing to identify and correct bugs due to its complex nature with over a hundred screens. GeekyAnts have been instrumental in organizing and implementing a manual testing program that has been extremely effective in quickly identifying issues and prioritizing them for addressing by our dev team.

Communication and workflows have been intense due to to the timelines we are working with. GeekyAnt's resource Suraj has been a key part of the workflow.

The dedication and focus displayed by Suraj, our GeekyAnt's resource has been extremely impressive. He has worked at a fast pace under high pressure to quickly identify and prioritize issues and suggest good solutions. They have quickly learned about our business and customers' needs, which is difficult due to our niche market.

We were able to launch the project on time which was a major accomplishment for the entire company. The Geekyants team was great to work with that we decided to extend our contract with them for ongoing development work.

We selected this vendor because it was highly recommended by one of our friends and we decided to continue with GeekyAnts because they had great reviews regarding their quality work and fixed timelines.

We came to them with ready-made requirements, and we discussed them with GeekyAnts. After consulting with them, we made some modifications and went through the solutions suggested in the requirements in an agile and scrum-like development process.

Their team did the backend development on Node.js provided by Docker containers and frontend development using JavaScript and the React framework. They also used AWS.

We had up to three web developers from junior to senior levels. We also had a project manager on the GeekyAnts side.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The final product is in production, and we’re absolutely content with it. It’s also making a profit for us. Their team said it would take half a year, and it was more or less done in that time. I’ve never seen such a precise estimate; it was really on point. The budget projections were always very correct, and I was very impressed with how precise their estimates were.

We typically communicate through SkyPe, which both of our companies were familiar with. We also have Zoom meetings and use Jira for project management and tickets. Their team is very responsive. We always get an immediate response, and they have always been available to us.

We’re a QA company. They gave us access to their tech people right from the start. The communication from the beginning was between the tech people on our side and the tech people on their side. It was easy, and they were approachable. There was no shield between their technical staff and ours, which has been nice
