We brought on Gatorworks to build a new website for our restaurant as we transitioned from a booth in a food hall to our own stand-alone location. We needed this website to be more interactive and robust, with dynamic content and the ability to route people to online ordering.

Gatorworks presented an excellent vision for the website, with a knowledge for the industry and a passion for our product. They understood our target demographic and applied creative liberties to make the user experience much more appealing.

We had multiple meetings with the Gatorworks team for them to be able to get a feel for our tone and branding. They helped discover website elements that were common among restaurants with similar service models. Once they started construction of the website, their team was very communicative about assets they needed to deliver the final product.

We had a project manager as well as multiple people up the food chain and from the design team involved with the project.

We have been super happy with the website and with continued updates made to the site. We know for sure that it drives traffic to our online orders, catering, and more.

Gatorworks delivered everything they promised. The communication and the way they felt like part of our team was perhaps the most impressive. It was like having a web team in-house.

Guaranty Media is a locally owned and operated Media group based in Louisiana. We own 5 radio stations, a Podcast Network, and a variety of social media properties and YouTube channels. I am the "Digital Content Director", in charge of all digital media for the company.

We hired Gatorworks to produce a website that coincided with us launching a "Podcast Network", as well as a slate of shows. Gatorworks did everything from Branding, to graphic design for individual shows, to development of a state-of-the-art website to showcase our new content.

We have a great relationship with Gatorworks, and they're well-known in town as one of the premiere agencies in this region. Besides their excellent eye for design aesthetic, their expertise in optimizing properties for digital marketing campaigns really attracted us to the relationship.

They combine style with true design insight on a holistic level. Content that supports Search Engine Optimization, a clear user-experience that funnels potential customers to the end goal, and a detailed production pipeline were the deciding factors in us collaborating with them.

Gatorworks helped us develop the Guaranty Podcast Network platform from the ground up. They began with a Logo/Branding design process where they created multiple options in an attempt to capture our voice through visual elements. This involved multiple meetings, a presentation from their design team, and hand-in-hand collaboration with our team.

During that process, they also designed several individual show assets including Podcast cards, YouTube banners, social media graphics, sales materials, and more. Once Brand Standards were finalized, they began developing a site that fully integrated our RSS host so that listeners could discover content through our platform in addition to more traditional Podcast players. They did a deep dive into the business to understand our goals and methodology, and incorporated that into the design and user experience.

Once the site's design was finalized, they did an SEO evaluation and helped oversee the launch. They also continued troubleshooting and held our hands throughout the launch process.

The project has been a success so far. We've launched over 20 shows within the past year, sold a slate of production services, and are making an investment to continue growing the business this year.

Their project management pipeline is incredibly thorough. Lindsey has implemented a detailed pipeline where every task is assigned and trackable to their team, and was in constant communication about the status of the project.

Their team truly cares about getting to know the project. They really see clients more as "partners" than just customers. They asked detailed questions about our business goals and let it inform design choices.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were truly thrilled with how the entire process went. It may sound like a copout, but we've truly been so completely impressed that we happily recommend them to our own clients any time they have a design/digital marketing need.

I’m the VP for a communications and research consulting firm called Whiteboard Advisors. We mainly cater to the education industry, and I specifically oversee our K-12 communications practices and marketing.

We have a website that’s about six or seven years old, and it no longer meets our business needs. Hence, we hired them to build a new website that would meet our current and future needs for the next several years.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start off the project, we did a discovery phase, during which Gatorworks learned more about our current challenges with our website and talked to various members of our team to understand the services that we provide and who our typical customers are.

After that, they went on with the development process, putting together a creative brief before proceeding with the wireframing and design stage. Their team also did some light branding work by handling the visual elements, including the color scheme, font choices, and font guidelines.

The website is already finished, and they are currently providing maintenance support for us.

I mainly work with three people from their team: Lindsey (VP of Operations), Jordan (Senior Graphic Designer), and Tucker (Senior Development Lead).

We considered five other firms for this project, but we selected Gatorworks because I had worked with them several years ago, which was a good experience.

We’ve spent about $40,000.

We started working together in July 2021, and our engagement is still ongoing.

We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from our clients and partners on our new website. We’ve also seen an increase in site traffic and in the number of people signing up for our product newsletters and reaching out via our contact form.

Their project management is great. They’re always in touch with us, and we’ve never had to wait to hear back from them. We do check-in meetings via Zoom and exchange emails in between.

The project entailed a complete overhaul on a new WordPress instance, carrying over content that could be salvaged from our previous site. The project started with a few discovery and design sessions, at which point Gatorworks took the ball and ran with it. They designed a site which far exceeded our expectations, with minimal input required, and very few changes requested after the initial drafts.

Very polished, easy to use website, on both desktop and mobile. Our employees are proud to send people to our website, since it is now an accurate representation of our organization. Since our site went live, our site traffic and volume of people that interact with us through the website has exploded, FAR exceeding our expectations.

Amazing communication and coordination, even during the height of the pandemic.

Their exceptional resource capabilities and customer service are second to none.

Literally nothing - I cannot say enough good things about Gatorworks. We've since contacted them for other services and they've knocked it out of the park every time.

We saw a significant increase in traffic due to the SEO feature and the ease of navigation of our website. Because of that, we meet enrollment goals each semester.

Gatorworks kept us up to date on the progress, primarily by email and phone. The project manager and developer were easy to work with and took questions and suggestions for changes in stride.

They gave me instructions on WordPress since I had not worked with it previously. Gatorworks seemed eager to please. If I had an issue, I could simply pop in or have them troubleshoot over the phone.

I want more contact from the company. A check-in would give me a feeling of better customer service.

We successfully migrated all digital properties within the time allocated and ahead of schedule in some areas. There was no disruption to digital access, which is a crucial part of the journey when deciding on a healthcare provider.

All deliverables were accomplished on time, and the Gatorworks team could not have been more responsive to our needs as they arose. My favorite outcome is how we have lists segmented now. If someone wants to join our parade as a full Krewe where they organize it, participate as a walker or rider, be a band or entertainer in the parade or get information on the Shamrock Run each of those are kept in separate Google Sheets making it easy to work with. In addition, for some an email is sent out automatically. It really helps on our end.
