What was the scope of their involvement?

Ganesha WebTech Solutionz has been designing and developing my iOS and Android app. Among the features it has, candidates can look at the profiles of the companies they’re interested in working for. If they get interviewed by a company, they’re able to submit the questions and their answers, and the interview will be listed in the company’s profile. Anyone who wants to have information about the interviews can see them in the app.

Basically, candidates can see the companies’ reviews, interviews, and jobs. We’ve also included a forum for discussion where candidates and employees can post queries about different jobs and their statuses. The app has already been submitted to the Google and Apple stores for review, but it can’t be downloaded yet.

For every stage of the development, the Ganesha WebTech Solutionz’s team comes to me to discuss the details and requests for changes. Once I approve their work, they post it.

The success of this project will be measured once the app is accepted by the App Store and the Google Play store and people can download it. Ganesha WebTech Solutionz’s project management is very good. They always do follow ups and settle all my queries promptly. For any questions I have, they immediately answer and don’t delay their work. Sometimes, I’m the one that causes the delays because I’m a full-time employee, and I’m not always available when they need input from me. We communicate through WhatsApp and Zoom.

1- Music Upload Plan: - Each user will have a plan limit of 100MB size for music upload, which will renew every week (Every Monday). - Multiple upload, the possibility for users to upload multiple songs at once, which will be “charged” or “discounted” on their 100MB size weekly plan. - The number of songs being uploaded at once, will depend on each song’s size, and has to be in pattern with the maximum 100MB size for music upload. - Add the message that states the Copyright of the content being upload by the user, according to our Terms of use and Privacy.

They were about 3 developers working on our project, well distributed (1 on Android, 1 on iOS and 1 on Backend), also had the project manager communicating with us in order to get any information they needed from us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had previously developed this project, and needed some updates for bug fixes, and performance improvements, and they were able to provide us everything we asked for. Users have made some comments, and we submitted them to Ganesha, Ganesha were able to solve them, and some more other improvements we had in mind.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had a Skype group and Upwork, we had a non disclosure agreement signed by both parties, and every thing was managed via Skype, when the final results were achieved, we shared then everything via Upwork. They would work any time, most of the times even during the weekend in order to accomplish better results and finish the project and deliver right on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their developers skills, time of response, they don't focus that much on what if some idea you get and they can't implement, they are open minded people and like to think out of the box.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I guess they are good and confident on what they do or will agree to do, they are humble enough to give you best advices, they look in long term thinking to avoid letting you know commit any mistakes that will cost you time and money in the future, so I only wish they get more experience in different technologies other than what they already know, this could help them expand their working field.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They do everything from start to finish in building the sites from scratch. Since I’m not tech savvy, the process involves them asking me specific questions about what I want to achieve. They provide me several design options to see what I like or dislike and then do all of the backend work.

The printing website requires a lot of complicated integration to allow customers to log in to the site and to process payments. They’re helping with some of the branding and I plan on using them for SEO as well. We're also in the process of creating another site to focus on website development for clients.

I deal primarily with an assigned account manager who then communicates with the development team. I prefer it that way so I’m not talking to a new person each time.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The biggest thing is that people regularly comment on how good the Vegas website is and we’re not even finished. There are a lot of operators in Las Vegas that do similar things, so it's very important that we hear a lot of positive feedback on the site. The printing site likewise establishes our credibility now that people can log in and use it. Once people go to one of our websites, we start getting phone calls or emails and we can make sales.

Their communication is phenomenal. The account manager is always available by phone and Skype if there's a problem. They're efficient even though they’re also dealing with other clients. They’re even better than anticipated in terms of beating deadlines and occasionally coming in under budget.

The sites have never had any bugs and crashes. One time there was a problem with our web hosting service and Ganesha followed up on it right away.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re knowledgeable and fully capable of doing everything we request. I was so impressed with how they take my ideas and make them better. We can talk to them about our objectives and goals and they're very patient. I'm a tough person to please but they just figure out how to make what I want happen.

No, I’d strongly recommend them to anyone.

Ask a lot of questions before you start. Be concerned if a firm is reluctant to give references or show their work. If someone is trying to get your business and they're not returning your call, it’s probably not a good fit.
