What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We saw a 15% increase in web traffic year-over-year and secured 50–100 new users per month. Overall, Fruition’s work quality exceeded my expectations. 

How did Fruition perform from a project management standpoint?

Fruition delivered work on time and budget, and they communicated well with us. Working with the entire team was wonderful. For tools, we used Zoom and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their biggest strength is their knowledge. Their communication skills and customer service were also wonderful.

They could work on better understanding our target market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fruition?

We were working on a website redesign. We created some wireframes but didn’t finish them.

We partnered with Fruition to finish the wireframes. They came in, edited, and enhanced our work. Once the wireframes were approved, Fruition moved into the design phase and created mock-ups for eight templates. They did everything in Figma.

The website didn’t have any type of interaction or movement. Fruition took that and incorporated our new branding and colors into the design.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with two designers and a project manager.

How did you come to work with Fruition?

We found them through an RFP process; they responded to us. We wanted a good partner who would listen to our needs and work with us on what we wanted to accomplish. Ultimately, we wanted a design that our developers could build from.

We began our engagement in October 2023 and finished in February 2024.

The work with Fruition is completed, and now our team will build the site. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations; it was great.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Fruition was tasked with a WordPress Lite website build, cloud hosting for the site, and updating plugins for the site. Fruition worked with Denver CASA to complete a keep, kill, and combine exercise to streamline website content and get rid of redundancies. The determinations made in this exercise were the basis for the new sitemap. Fruition and Denver CASA worked to ensure that the site was focused on encouraging users to either donate to CASA or volunteer.

Increased web leads and form fills,increased visibility in ROAS and conversion tracking, and increased brand awareness in the marketplace.

Quick to respond and timely delivery on reports. Started as high-touch but once we found our rhythm and Fruition continued to generate great work without my input, we were able to trust their knowledge and take a backseat. A dream to work with, highly communicative, and required minimum oversight to deliver consistent results.

Everyone I spoke with at the company was invested in our success despite the fact we're a smaller account. Our industry is niche which required a bit more legwork in terms of research and copywriting but I never once felt like I was getting cookie-cutter agency work from the team.

There was nothing they needed to improve on.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fruition, and what were your goals?

We were searching for a company to help us with general SEO work and redesign to an existing website that had not been updated in several years. While we contacted Fruition with multiple objectives, overall our goals were to increase our web presence and searchability, update our website from both a design and content perspective, and assistance with various digital marketing strategies.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We primarily researched several companies online through various platforms, including Clutch. We narrowed our list to 4-5 companies and spent several weeks interviewing and following up. Ultimately, we moved forward with Fruition because of their flexibility and holistic proposal to our needs. Of the companies we interviewed, Fruition seemed to be the most prepared and engaged to understanding our needs from a long-term perspective.

After the initial interview process, we went through a kick-off and discovery call. Based on our needs, Fruition then performed an audit to help identify all existing issues with our website from an SEO and design perspective. Fruition then made suggestions and put together a plan on how to tackle each task or project, based on our budget and desired timeframe.

It has been great to work with Fruition because at various points and time, our budget and overall goals have shifted in priority. Fruition has not missed a beat and has supported everything we have requested. We primarily focused on technical SEO issues while simultaneously helping develop benchmark metrics for web traffic and other analytics.

In addition, Fruition worked on a major redesign to our homepage that recently launched. Fruition is now helping with developing new content and redesign to our service pages. While that is ongoing they are also helping with other digital strategies, including blogs and associated Google posts.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

When we first contacted Fruition we were assisted by the CEO who helped set up an initial call with the Head of Business Development. Once we rolled into the discovery and kick-off meeting, we worked with and continue to work with a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, a Senior SEO & Local Account Manager, a Lead UX Designer, WordPress Developers, and Service Desk Lead and Associates.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Fruition has delivered on every component we have requested to date. Not only are we happy with our homepage redesign and SEO initiatives, we have experienced and increase in lead generation, website traffic, web presence and ranking. Our industry is highly competitive and we are amazed at how much progress has been made in so little time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have always met with Fruition for large scale planning for at least an hour at a time. We have met with Fruition on a monthly basis for SEO updates. In addition, their communication has been strong since day 1 and not a week goes by where we do not receive an update on something.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Fruition is highly specialized in many areas and is flexible to whatever your needs are. We have also found their communication and shared vision to be a strength. They were the only company that really understood what we were trying to accomplish and valued a long-term partnership.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Since our firm did not previously engage in much SEO, web redevelopment or marketing it has been a learning curve. Initially, it was a little difficult to understand everyone's role and who to contact for certain issues. However, no matter who we contacted they were happy to help or direct us to the appropriate person.

I’m the director of marketing and communications for a nonprofit organization based in Denver, Colorado, with seven locations across the US. We take donated medical supplies and equipment and take them to underdeveloped countries around the world.

Our organization initially brought in Fruition to help us rebuild our WordPress website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

When I joined the organization, Fruition had already helped us rebuild our WordPress website, but I continued working with them through their helpdesk service for ongoing support. For the website redesign, they took our existing branding and adapted the site to fit that brand.

As for their ongoing services, Fruition’s support has ranged from making simple edits to the site to working on some larger projects, such as developing technical coding and implementing technical forms. Sometimes, we also ask them for content help, especially for SEO and keyword optimization.

Whenever we need assistance, we can go into their helpdesk system and submit a ticket. The time it takes Fruition to close those tickets varies depending on the level of service needed. Sometimes, they even set up a call to get further information; other times, they simply do what they’re asked to do.

One of the features that Fruition has developed for our site is an interactive map that shows every country to which our organization has sent shipments. This feature was coded from scratch. Per our request, it adapts to different devices, and it can be easily updated.

Currently, I work with 6–7 people from Fruition, including their founder, content and SEO specialists, PPC specialists, helpdesk specialists, and developers.

What is the status of this engagement?

Although I wasn’t part of the organization when we hired Fruition, I believe that we started working together around September 2020. The website redesign ended in March 2021, but our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since engaging with Fruition, we’ve seen a significant improvement in our visits, which have been consistently increasing month over month. We’ve also seen our conversions increase as well, which talks about Fruition's great work in facilitating visitors to take the actions we want them to take.

How did Fruition perform from a project management standpoint?

Fruition uses a ticketing platform that allows us to easily enter requests into their system. Whenever we submit a ticket, we usually get a response from them within 15 minutes, acknowledging that they received the service order. Although we’ve also used emails and phone calls to communicate, those aren’t usually necessary. Still, we can always jump on a call if the task is more complex.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One thing that I really like about Fruition is that they’re a really small shop. Thus, we’ve gotten to know their team members very well, and they also know us very well. Whenever I submit a ticket, I know who is getting the request.

Be ready and know your objectives and deliverables so that Fruition can hit the ground running.

I’m the operations project manager at an international beauty brand that focuses on the eyelash extension space. We sell products and offer educational classes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fruition?

When I joined our company, we didn't have the internal capabilities to put as much focus and attention on all of our different digital marketing facets. We decided to leverage the help of a digital marketing agency to manage all of these various processes in collaboration with us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fruition has helped us greatly with all of our digital marketing channels and helped us build everything from the ground up. We provided them with information about our products’ features, advantages, and benefits, as well as our company’s history, competitive advantages, and differentiators. We also provided them with some photography and marketing assets, which they took as a foundation for them to expand upon and build our marketing presence into what it is today.

We initially started our engagement by revamping our existing WordPress and WooCommerce sites. They enhanced the site’s UX by giving it an external facelift using our graphic design and photography.

Aside from that, Fruition is handling our email marketing initiatives. Before we started working with them, we didn’t have a specific cadence or frequency for email marketing — we used to just send out emails ad hoc. Fruition has helped us establish a set cadence and frequency based on our industry and audience, giving us optimal open and click-through rates.

Another thing that Fruition has helped us with is our content writing efforts. We have done blogs before, but there wasn't an expected cadence or frequency with it. Fruition has really helped us drive a strategy for that — we now have three blogs consistently going out every month to our different audiences, and with the help of their SEO team, they've put in a lot of great keywords to help us in organic search. 

We also kickstarted our social media marketing initiatives with them in October of last year. They create and publish 28 posts per month for us to really make sure that our credibility and social media strategy continues to progress forward.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Fruition has quadrupled the number of opens for our email marketing efforts. Most recently, our organic website traffic has doubled compared to the same time last year. Our organic social media engagement has also doubled since the start of our partnership.

How did Fruition perform from a project management standpoint?

Fruition has performed well in terms of project management. They’re incredibly organized and responsive, and they’re excellent at taking notes and recapping action items. We have weekly meetings wherein we go over our progress and collaborate on our digital marketing strategy for the various services and channels that they help us with. They also give us monthly Google Analytics reports on how our different metrics and components are working.

We've been using shared Google Sheets to keep track of action items, and we typically communicate through Zoom and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fruition’s willingness to learn about our industry has been very admirable. Since the start of our partnership, they've been absorbed and fully focused on understanding our business, industry, and clients. They took the time to read our materials to understand our brand, and they even flew to our corporate office to attend our training events to get a better understanding of who we are.

Make sure to set expectations on the type of partnership and communication cadence that you are looking for. Ask them about all their different services, capabilities, and any previous work that they've done that's related to the prospects and their individual industry and references.

We've seen a tremendous increase in leads and website traffic utilizing the strategies that Fruition has set for us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have weekly meetings and the team lead always sends a recap email allowing us an opportunity to be present in the meetings. I particularly enjoy the recap emails because of the clear action items on my list.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have gone above and beyond in our process of transitioning between team members - even staying up late at night to get an ad campaign launched for us. I am very impressed with their passion for our company and the time they put in to teach us.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

I'd like to use Slack more to communicate, since this is where my team is throughout the day.
