The previous version of our website had been built with a third party WordPress editor that was very user-friendly, but had a very negative effect on the performance of the website. That would've become worse with time, especially when scaling up, which is why we chose to migrate to Wordpress' native Gutenberg editor.

To have a 1:1 reproduction of the website, every module had to be recreated as a Gutenberg block. To ensure a similar degree of flexibility as the 3rd party editor, the blocks required numerous customization options.

He ensured that we were always up-to-date with the project's progress and that any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly. All the resources we needed were made available to us throughout the project. The project manager oversaw the project scope and ensured that all features were completed and delivered on time.

What's more impressive is that the project was completed within budget, and we did not experience any unexpected costs or delays. One of the most valuable things the project manager did was to organize a retrospective after the project ended. This allowed us to reflect on the project's successes and areas for improvement, which was an essential learning opportunity for us.

Implementing the design as it was designed. That is very rare in going from idea to implementation. Very responsive and quick to help/discuss. Great service, can't recommend them enough. if you are going for WP implementation, these guys are for you.

I was happy overall, but the scope/timeframe management could have been better. With a complex project, it is hard to know everything from the start, but as assumptions change, you should communicate and agree on scope/timeframe/budget changes. At times it was missing.

The page, once published, reverberated throughout the organization in a big way. The entire development process went very smoothly and ongoing issues were resolved on the fly. Since the whole website is highly customizable the team manages it easily.

Fooz is very flexible in terms of communication channels and project management. Because of the tight deadline, we used Slack to speed up communication and used Jira to manage the Backlog. Making it on time was not a problem for them.

From the very start of the project, Fooz’s team was very involved in the project. Even though our design seemed quite complicated, Fooz seemed to be genuinely enthusiastic about the challenge and managed to implement it pixel perfect. We were amazed by their attention to detail.

Our client needed to publish the site quickly, so the project was split into phases, with the MVP published in a month from the start of work.

Overall the project was a huge success, the website is a lot better than what it was before, it's aligned with our new brand identity, the performance is great as well and it's super flexible, thanks to the work of Fooz and WordPress we can do most of the update ourselves and leave the most important things to Fooz.

Because the project was pretty straightforward, we used Slack for daily communication and when we had to go on a call with them, they were always available so it was easy to schedule something and talk about any topic in specific. Every month we had a report telling us how much time they spent and on what so we always had a clear idea of what was happening. The development was always on-time and if they were a risk of delay, Fooz would warn us in advance which was great.

They have by far the best WordPress knowledge that I've seen. The quality is perfect, they always propose new things to make your life easier, and they are super reactive which is great. Any new request we had was always taken care of pretty quickly.
