Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the president of Cosfia Software Solutions. We’re developers of a janitorial services marquee platform that also has a mobile application.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flojics Technology?

We were looking for someone who could take on a project, quickly understand it, and deliver great results the first time around.  Hence, we hired Flojics Technology for their staff augmentation services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Flojics Technology provides us with programmers and coders who understand our industry and objectives very well. 

We initially had a requirement for an API between our program and QuickBooks so that we could upload payroll systems. They first helped us with that, and then we moved on to general improvements to what we had already created within our platform. From there, they improved our mobile services and enhanced our platform by moving us from one setting to another.

Moreover, we have a payroll platform that goes across a certain country. Their team has helped us incorporate all the various payroll PTO issues, as well as holiday issues, bereavement, sick days, and other issues, into our platform.

What is the team composition?

We have been working with five members from their team for a number of years now. There’s one project manager, and the rest are coders.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent about $400,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with Flojics Technology in May 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure success by the feedback we get from clients that use the software, and it has all been positive. We also look at the software improvements in terms of user interface and how they feel the enhancement have helped them use our platform better, and we’ve gotten nothing but positive results there.

From a qualitative standpoint, it has been great to work with Flojics Technology. The resources they’ve provided understand tasks extremely well, ask many questions upfront, and come back with results that are implementable. Overall, their team does a good job of providing people who could help us achieve our goals. 

How did Flojics Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re usually 85%–90% on time when it comes to meeting deadlines. They’ve also stayed on budget except when there’s a need to execute something faster because of customer requirements.

In terms of communication, they’ve been very responsive. We are constantly in contact through various methodologies. We communicate with their project manager through Skype, and their project manager communicates with our project manager, but we don’t know what platform they use for communication. We also use email, SMS, and Google Meet to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their biggest strength is communication. As the person running the business, it’s critical for me that they’ve been able to make me understand exactly where we stand and how we’re getting to where we want to go.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Flojics Technology has definitely staffed up over the last four years we have worked with them. I can also definitely tell that they’re more responsive now.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be to talk to Flojics Technology. They communicate extremely well and in my case, they have been able to understand our complex requirements.

I am the CEO and founder of a technology company. We build SaaS products to put influencers and business owners in contact with each other to create campaigns on social networks.

What challenges were you trying to address with Flojics Technology?

When we started, we were looking for a company to help us with our product. We hired Flojics Technology for web and mobile app development. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were in charge of building our technology for our web and mobile application. The core features of the platform are a member management module, reporting modules, and a financial module. It’s a very complex platform that requires a lot of details about our partners, like their account details and the amount of money they spend. We also needed the platform to track performance, interaction, and engagements for the influencers we work with. 

Flojics Technology currently manages maintenance and updates for the platform. Key technologies include PHP for web development and Flutter for mobile development. 

What was the team composition? 

We have a project manager assigned to us who takes all the requirements from our side and distributes them to their team. As far as I know, they have at least six people working on the project, including a backend developer, a mobile developer, a frontend developer, and about two QA specialists. 

How did you come to work with Flojics Technology?

We posted the project on a website to get proposals, and one of the companies that reached out to us was Flojics Technology. They made a good offer, and we decided to work with them to develop our platform.  

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve invested at least $30,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working together in October 2020, and it is an ongoing collaboration. We have a long-term engagement with Flojics Technology.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have an in-house CTO who is responsible for receiving all the updates and work from their side, reviewing their code, and evaluating the general quality of their work. They also have a testing process on their side. 

How did  Flojics Technology perform from a project management standpoint? 

They deliver within the deadline 90% of the time, and the times they don’t is usually because we’ve changed something, so it isn’t their fault. Other than that, they’re always on time and on budget. We communicate using Slack and GitHub and have weekly team meetings on Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are available 24 hours a day, so there is someone that always responds to us. They also have a very competitive price point compared to other companies. Flojics Technology has a very solid internal process, and they’re always on time and strict when it comes to finding solutions. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Personnel rotation can be an issue sometimes. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust them and try not to interfere in their work. If you provide them with a clear description of your requirements, they can go to work on it, but if you keep adding things and making changes, you’ll make things harder for them.
