It's ongoing support and maintenance for our clients' stores, split across Magento and WooCommerce. Day to day that means keeping things running, clearing issues as they come up, and building out specific features when a client asks for one — plus tidying up the setup underneath when it needs it. I can't get into which clients or the specifics under NDA, but it's a month-after-month relationship, not a single project with an end date.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Support work doesn't hand you a tidy before-and-after chart, so I'll be straight about it. The real outcome for us is that the store side stopped being something we worry about — issues get sorted, sites stay steady, and we can tell a client we handle everything and actually back it up. The plain fact this has run since 2022 says more than any figure I could invent here. Anything more specific is under NDA.

Over three-odd years you find out quickly whether a team is flaky, and they haven't been. Turnaround is quick, and they tell you upfront when something's going to take longer instead of going quiet on you. For an ongoing setup, that predictability is the thing we actually care about.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

That they're genuinely solid on both Magento and WooCommerce — most teams we'd spoken to were really a one-platform shop dressed up as more, and our clients are split across the two. Pair that with the fact they're content working behind us for our clients without elbowing into the relationship, and it's a rarer combination than it should be.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Flexor could have done differently?

Not much I can point to after this long. The one thing, early on, was that getting a new client's store set up in their support process took a bit of back-and-forth before it ran smoothly — but once a store's in their flow, it's not an issue anymore.

The two things we actually feel: the stores load noticeably faster than they used to, and they hold up in high season instead of falling over when traffic spikes — which is exactly when it would cost a client the most. I don’t have one headline number since it’s across several clients, but on the sites where speed and stability were the problem, that problem is basically gone.

Solid, no drama. Things land roughly when they say they will, and if something’s going to take longer we hear it early rather than on the deadline. When a client hits an urgent issue they move on it fast.

That they’re specialised — they only do eCommerce and turn the rest down. It means they’re not learning your platform on your budget; they already know where the problems usually are.

Honestly nothing major. If I had to name something, we’d sometimes like them to flag optimisation ideas proactively rather than us raising them first — but that’s a small thing, more a nice-to-have than a complaint.
