Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Flamingo partnered with Electric Reel Films to transform an ambitious creative vision into a polished, public-facing digital studio, designing and building a professional website that serves as the central showcase for John Renshaw’s body of work and future projects. Main deliverables included: * A fully designed and launched ElectricReelFilms.com website. * A clean, intuitive site architecture with dedicated sections for projects, about, and company information. * Approximately 30 individual project pages, each functioning as a mini pitch deck. * Around 25 tabs of supporting material per project, including loglines, synopses, characters, themes, artwork, development materials, and production information. * Integration of hundreds of pages of written content, original artwork, posters, graphics, and supporting visuals. * Organization and presentation of 40+ original videos and multimedia assets. * Responsive design optimized for desktop and mobile viewing. * A scalable framework that allows new projects, artwork, videos, and documents to be added as Electric Reel Films continues to grow. * A professional online identity designed to support outreach to producers, agents, managers, investors, collaborators, and the public. In short, Flamingo didn’t just build a website—they helped create the digital headquarters and permanent public archive for Electric Reel Films, presenting years of creative work in a professional, accessible format.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project successfully transformed Electric Reel Films from a collection of creative concepts and development materials into a fully realized public-facing entertainment studio. The flagship outcome was the successful launch of ElectricReelFilms.com, providing a permanent digital home for the company’s work and establishing a professional platform for industry outreach. Measurable outcomes included the publication of approximately 30 original film, television, and media projects, each supported by comprehensive pitch materials across roughly 25 content sections. The site now showcases hundreds of pages of original written content, more than 900 original visual assets, and 40+ original videos, creating one of the most comprehensive independent studio presentations of its kind. Beyond the website itself, the project produced a scalable digital infrastructure that enables ongoing development, simplifies the presentation of new creative work, and strengthens outreach to producers, agents, managers, investors, collaborators, and audiences. Most importantly, Electric Reel Films now has a polished, professional online presence that serves as both a creative portfolio and a long-term foundation for future business growth.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Flamingo demonstrated exceptional project management throughout the engagement. The team maintained clear communication, organized complex information efficiently, and consistently kept the project moving forward despite the enormous scope of the work. They were responsive to feedback, quick to implement revisions, and proactive in solving challenges as they arose. Deliverables were completed on schedule and often exceeded expectations in both quality and attention to detail. As the project evolved and expanded, Flamingo adapted seamlessly, accommodating new ideas and additional content while maintaining a high standard of organization and execution. Most importantly, the team treated the project as a true partnership. They listened carefully, understood the long-term vision for Electric Reel Films, and translated that vision into a polished, professional platform. Their responsiveness, flexibility, and commitment to excellence played a significant role in the successful launch of ElectricReelFilms.com.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was Flamingo’s ability to combine technical expertise with creative collaboration. They didn’t simply build a website—they invested the time to understand my vision and helped organize, present, and elevate years of creative work into a cohesive, professional platform. The scale of the project was significant, involving dozens of original entertainment properties, hundreds of pages of content, more than 900 original visual assets, and over 40 videos. Throughout the process, the team remained detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to quality without losing sight of the bigger picture. Perhaps most importantly, Flamingo approached the project as a long-term partner rather than just a vendor. Their craftsmanship, communication, and commitment to delivering a world-class result gave me complete confidence, and the finished website exceeded my expectations in every way.

Nope. It was truly a perfect fit and even better execution

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Flamingo agency was tasked with completely building and designing a website for my business from the ground up and providing SEO to improve our digital foot print and increase traffic, which has increased our service requests to almost 10 times the amount we had prior. Flamingo agency succesfully described our services and company on the website to give prospective clients a very clear understanding of our services and who we are as a company, they also succesfully incorporated all our desired photos, logos and certifications seamlessly into the design to accentuate our service descriptions and company image in our desired vision. Flamingo helped us optimize and set up our public google profile as well which was barebones prior.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We received a functional and visually appealing website that perfectly incorporated all elements and resulted in an outcome that exceeded our expectations based on other websites we have seen from competitors in our industry.

After the SEO service our client leads and quote requests for service immediately shot up to nearly 10 times the average weekly amount from roughly 10 a week to over 90.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We worked with Chris as our direct point of contact on this project. His turn around time for the base design that we gave references but minimal initial input came out to about 90% of exactly what we wanted. After the initial design we gave Chris many small and detailed changes and every change we asked for was done within a day. His service was outstanding, he was always quick and easy to work with and had no problems changing things back and forth for us as we changed our minds, he was also able to easily infer what we were looking for on requests that were fairly vague or non-specific from us and deliver what we had envisioned but were unable to put into words. The SEO and website design/building was seamless and painless for us, he was able to make everything exactly how we wanted with just a few emails from us and he always promptly responded so there was no distraction for us on our other tasks.

What was your primary form of communication with Flamingo Agency?

I can't think of any way that Flamingo Agency could've offered a better result or service it was outstanding and I highly recommend them. I would not want to work with anyone else in the future in this area.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder and president of a firm that helps supermarket chains develop and maintain pricing strategies.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Flamingo Agency, and what were your goals?

I launched my new company in September 2022. In my business plan, I determined that I would need a professional website in place by the end of 2022, but I lacked the skills to develop one. Consequently, I hired Flamingo Agency to create an attractive, professional website that would introduce my new company to the supermarket industry and effectively highlight my unique business-building service offering for grocery retailers, and the Flamingo Agency exceeded my expectations!

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I conducted an online search for local website developers in the Chicagoland area that focused on helping new start-ups and/or niche consulting businesses and the Flamingo Agency was one of the firms that caught my attention. I was particularly impressed with the online examples of high quality, creative and professional client websites that the Flamingo Agency had developed.

I contacted Chris at the Flamingo Agency he asked several thoughtful questions to be sure he fully understood my needs. He then sent me a proposal and I was particularly impressed with the Flamingo Agency's comprehensive and interactive process for working with me to ensure that they were supporting my objectives every step of the way. This professional process, combined with examples of their previous work, and rapid development timeline made them the ideal choice for my needs.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They walked me through the entire process step-by-step so that it was not overwhelming for me. Flamingo Agency built my website using WordPress with Elementor. They also created a mobile responsive design and SEO. They began by providing four separate homepage designs, each with multiple options for each key section within the homepage. This allowed me to pick and choose my favorite overall design as well as favorite designs for "sections" and additional pages.

I provided content for the website in piecemeal fashion over the course of a couple of weeks which they incorporated immediately upon receiving it. We ended up with four pages and multiple "sections" within each page. They also allowed me to pick my preferred color palette and provided me with a wide array of options for stock pictures which were outstanding additions to the site. Flamingo Agency provided unlimited revisions as we worked together to get the site just the way I wanted it. They were extremely patient with me and unfailingly accommodating.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked directly with Chris Granat, the founder of the firm. He served as the web designer and SEO expert.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The site has just launched so I do not have any statistics to share. However, the site has exceeded my expectations and is presenting my new firm in the best, most positive light.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Chris communicated with me continually throughout the process...on a daily basis. The only delays were caused by me. As soon as I provided material or made decisions, Chris incorporated them right away. I couldn't be happier with the communication and timing of the service that I received.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Flamingo Agency provided me with a professional website that is allowing me to "play bigger than I am". I've been in consulting for over 30 years, and the service I received was A+. I can only hope to provide similar service to my clients. I always felt that I was their most important client and they exceeded my expectations with their service, support and deliverables. I'm not savvy in website design and they made the entire process simple and enjoyable. I highly recommend them for any company looking to build a website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Flamingo Agency and Chris Granat exceeded my expectations. The process was much easier than I expected, and the resulting website is better than I had hoped.
