This wasn’t a very complicated project, and we communicated requirements upfront. The project has been straightforward. They present their progress to me, I provide feedback, and they implement the requested changes.

I find it easy to communicate with their team. Typically, external providers lack knowledge about our needs and company. They tried to put themselves in our shoes to understand our business' needs.

We’ve been happy with everything. It may be helpful for them to contribute more creative ideas to projects, although they’re creative already. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re an established company in their industry, with experience working with different types of clients. However, it’s important to let them know what you want to achieve. Both parties need to participate in the project together.

We’ve received a lot of great feedback from customers. They say that it’s easy to use. We’re not advertising the website, but people have ordered from it organically. It worked well.

Their project management was excellent. Everything was done over the phone or email. Any time we needed something, Fat Cow Media would ring us back within about 20 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was all really good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication was very impressive. Even after the website was completed, there were a few things that we wanted to add, and Fat Cow Media would make those changes within the day. They always got back to us very quickly.

No, I have no suggestions. I was happy with what they did, and there’s nothing I would fault them on.

We had a website but it hadn’t been done by a professional, and, as a startup, most of our advertising is online. Our new investors required us to find a company that would build a nicer site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed to redo a six-page website and Fat Cow Media created a brand-new website for us. To start, they asked us for a few examples of websites we liked. Being an engineering company, it would’ve been hard for them to understand what we do so we provided a lot of images and text content for them. Fat Cow Media created the full design using those pieces.

I worked with just one person from Fat Cow Media.

I made a Google search for website developers. We’re based in the UK, and I wanted to work with a local company. Fat Cow Media had the highest reviews out of the companies we looked at.

I first contacted them in early-July 2020, and we started the project a few days later. We finished in August.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were given access to the website just this week so I can’t talk about metrics but we’re all very happy with the design. We were in a bit of a hurry to have the website live, so we check everything and are finishing up on details now.

How did Fat Cow Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They were amazing, and they delivered everything on time. They took one week to put together the overall design and, from there, it was a matter of me sending over the images and videos we needed for each page. We also had a back and forth process where I sent them what I wanted to see and got modified pages back. They would make modifications until I was happy. I would get results within an hour or half an hour, and any delays came from my side.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really enjoyed working with them. There were no delays, and they gave us quick answers to any issues we had. Fat Cow Media was very efficient and professional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. It was a pleasure working with them and I didn’t have any problems.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Looking back at my own experience, I should’ve been a bit more prepared with what I wanted to see on the website. They can’t read minds, so you need to be clear about the content. If you don’t set up a clear plan for each page, that’ll fall on you.

Fat Cow Media developed our brochure website from scratch. The site isn’t meant for branding, but to show what we do and who we are to our viewers, broadcasters, and freelancers.

All the pages are built from scratch because we didn’t have any of that on our website to begin with. We messaged them with the content that we wanted on our site, such as images, showreels, and reviews and articles about our productions.

We were in touch with Steve (Company Director). He was very good at his job and definitely knew what he was doing.

I sent a few emails to various website companies, and Fat Cow Media was one of the companies that stood out to me. They made me feel confident that they could deliver. When my director and team had a conversation with them, they clicked and got along very well.

We’re very happy with the way the site turned out and how quickly they got it done. We had a program lined up on a big channel, which was a big reason we wanted the website done, and it was a very quick turnover. They were very effective and professional throughout the process. We will work with them again. 

There have definitely been a lot of people visiting our website because our inbox was flooded within the first three days. People have been saying congratulations and that it’s really well done. There were a few negative emails that came through as well.

How did Fat Cow Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was really good. We had one initial Zoom video call with Steve. We told him we didn’t know what we wanted but that we could provide him with the information and he could play around with the designs and the logo. We’d give Steve the information on amendments, and he was available all the time. He sent us daily updates. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We didn’t really know what we wanted with the design, and they came back with multiple options and gave us things that might reflect well for a TV production website. They would give us 3–4 reputable design options.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing negative to say. They’ve been really good.

If you’re new to developing a website, I’d definitely give them a go. They will guide you in the right direction.

I’m the co-founder of Inter Scientific. We have both medical devices and medicines aimed at helping adults quit smoking.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fat Cow Media?

The website we had was quite old and clunky, and it didn’t have the information that we wanted to convey to stakeholders. We needed to update the website to increase the meta content and to make it more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope was to take the site’s existing look, feel, and branding and to redevelop it from scratch. Fat Cow Media made it more user-friendly and functional. It was a complete redesign of the site, which was originally built in-house on Wix. They added more content so that our message was communicated better.

We’re currently working with them on SEO for the site. We’re doing a six-month trial with them to see how we can improve our hits on Google. They’re developing two posts per month for us in areas related to the business. We’re happy with the two we’ve gotten so far; they’re well-written.

Based on the fact that we’re so happy with the work they did on our medical website, we’re doing another website and SEO with them. They launched a second site for our brand 10 days ago. We’ll probably continue doing SEO with them for the long-term.

We’re very happy with them. They’re absolutely amazing. The general feedback has been very positive from both my team and our clients. Their designs are aesthetically pleasing. The articles they’ve written have been really high quality. I don’t think they could do much better.

It was great having one person to deal with. He understood exactly what we were looking for and was easy to communicate with.

We’re very happy with their performance. They turned it around pretty quickly. They’re flexible and really easy to communicate with through WhatsApp calls or messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Steve understood what we were looking to do visually. We wanted to create the effect of smoke clearing, and Steve created video clips for us. He also found the stock images we were looking for. He was really about the theme and feel we wanted. The product is much better than anything we’ve seen elsewhere. They used their own creativity and thoughts to help develop the site further.

No; we were so happy with them from the first site that we had to do another one with them. Working with them has been a far better experience than those we’ve had with other web designers.

They developed a completely new website from scratch. It was on WordPress. I gave them some text and provided input on how I envisioned the site. I was consulted throughout the project, and they asked for input on color schemed and appearance.

I don’t remember exactly how I came across them, but I believe they were featured in an article that recommended website developers. The site launched about a week ago. They are going to provide us with monthly reports on viruses and that kind of thing. Even after finished the website, we’ve been in communication. They keep pressing forward.

We communicated every day by email. When we were designing different pages, we were calling each other here and there.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Steve’s patience and ability to take a vision and turn it into reality really blew me away. Other developers just want to take my vision and go, but would get frustrated if I kept coming back to them with new ideas. With Steve, it was never a problem.

Have your vision really solidified before engaging with them. It will be more efficient for both parties.

At this point, they still manage our SEO and make updates to the site.

Fat Cow Media has designed and developed a very simple website for me, which serves as an information page. It doesn’t have e-commerce functionalities. He designed our logo as well, and we went through a lot of iterations. 

We refer banks and service providers to the website when they need to learn about us. It’s a simple website, but it needs to look polished and professional. 
I sent them the text content of the website, and I chose some stock images for it as well.

I found them through Google. I visited a few providers’ websites and looked at examples of their work. I liked the look of Fat Cow Media. Since I’m not in an industry that requires my website to look incredibly expensive, I just wanted to find a web designer that wasn’t ridiculously costly.  Fat Cow Media fit that bill.

I started working with Fat Cow Media in 2010. The latest project ran between January–February 2018. I plan on having them update my website in the next few weeks, and I’ll always go to them if I need a new website.

The website is helpful for when banks or service providers are looking to finance us. It makes it look more professional, so I’m sure that’s helped, but it’s difficult to quantify. 

People have commented saying the website looks smart, which is always good. The site has never crashed.

It required minimal effort on my part. I gave them the text, and they did the rest.

From a project management standpoint, they’re very good. If I email Steve, I know I’ll receive a response by the end of the day. I’m in safe hands with Fat Cow Media. They’ll solve and sort out anything that needs to be done.

Their team is responsive to any urgent requests. I try to do some updates on the website myself, but if I’m not able to, their team will work on it for me. The team at Fat Cow Media is always willing to help. They also understand timelines, having a fast turnaround for projects.

Make sure you have a clear brief. Their team will absolutely deliver on that. Be clear on what you want and need. It is much easier when they know exactly what you want because they can work quicker.
