Since we launched the new website we have received nothing but positive feedback from both friends and family and also new clients as this is usually their first point of contact.

We were in the process of creating a new website to replace our outdated site that didn't reflect our company's values in the present day. We went through a shortlist process to find a service provider to support our website redesign and development. I had ideas for how I wanted the website to look and the content we wanted to feed into it, but I needed a service provider with technical expertise in WordPress to build the backend source so people could view it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fat Cow Media took the ideas we provided and translated them into something tangible for the general public, transferring all our content into a live site in the public domain. Fat Cow Media used static imagery to explain concepts, and once we decided, the developers created a link that we could start viewing. Fat Cow Media created the site's content, including copy and images, launched the site, and provided web hosting.

I'm very happy because Fat Cow Media delivered a modern and sleek-looking website like we wanted. The team covered my knowledge gaps regarding web design, and I leaned on them when needed. The development process was continuous without issues, and when I needed a bit more inspiration or creativity in how we display content, Fat Cow Media always had the answer. The website went live, and success was high within our business.

We communicated via phone calls, and Fat Cow Media was very responsive. The team met deadlines, and I had daily calls with Steve, sometimes multiple times a day. Fat Cow Media never missed a delivery.

Steve was my single point of contact throughout the project, which worked very well. I knew where to go if I had any queries. The process was simple since I was the only person on my team working on the site. Steve was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fat Cow Media's working style was impressive. After we approved the design, the team went straight into designing the entire page with a link that was exactly what the public would view when the site went live. There was no ambiguity or confusion about how the site would look. We had all the necessary work to make informed decisions about what changes needed to be made.

Fat Cow Media's efficiency was impressive, too. The team worked in the most optimized way possible. Our similar ways of working complemented each other well, and their transparency in building the site resulted in a perfect solution.

I can't find any room for improvement in Fat Cow Media's work.

If you want to succeed on your website, I totally recommend Fat Cow Media for the details on how they outline their work. Steve is very personable and knowledgeable, and their web design expertise shows throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fat Cow Media.

We realized it was time to update our website. We had some new staff members having some changes, and just to make it, we realized the platform was a bit out of date. As a result, we approached Fat Cow Media to help us.

They rebuilt our website from scratch. We had an old-format website that wasn’t even compatible with viewing it on a mobile phone, so they rebuilt everything. Obviously, they checked in with me to make sure that we liked what they were doing and we saw the development screens before they went live. We provided the biographies and photos that they did for us, and they really did everything else for us.They designed everything, they used WordPress, Flutter, and Adobe. We just let them do everything.

They gave me time to check it and gave me enough time to make tweaks, which would take me a little longer than somebody else would. So, they were fantastic. They weren't afraid to let us know if they were going to be out of the office.

We needed to create new websites for both companies. Our goal was to create more modern, elegant, streamlined, and aesthetically pleasing versions of our websites.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fat Cow Media designed and developed new websites for both my companies. After an onboarding process, we went through a design consultation for one of the websites first. We started this process with reference images and discussed the pages we needed to include, as well as the technical requirements.

After that process, Fat Cow Media came back with a draft of the website’s homepage, and we provided feedback. We iterated on the design until we were happy with the page before moving on to designing the next page. We continued that process until we were happy with the whole website. The entire process repeated for the second website.

As for the technology stack, I believe that Fat Cow Media used WordPress to build the sites. Both websites were fairly simple; they just presented our company and our projects. Fat Cow Media also offered hosting and maintenance services.

I don’t know how many teammates from Fat Cow Media worked on the project; I only spoke to Steven (Director) the entire time.

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Unfortunately, I don't recall all the details as it's been several years since our initial engagement. The design and development process lasted approximately three months. We initially shared numerous ideas and submitted our text and photographs to Fat Cow Media.

We went through some iterations and had meetings to finalize our plans. They provided us with guidance and a lot of good advice throughout the development process.

The website features a helpful calendar where our team can input upcoming events. Additionally, there is a banner at the top that displays various advertisements scrolling across the screen. They also integrated our Twitter feed onto the website.
