We hired ExpandX as they were referred to us from a previous client they worked on with for a website development services. So we decided to work with them for the development of a brand new website for Starjewelry Art Ltd. We needed an A-Z solution that included the IT infrastructure, the website setup, planning and structure, the webdesign, the automation functionalities, etc. We were provided with an offer and a development plan for the project that had five main stages.

As we started working with ExpandX each stage was delivered on time as per the schedule and consisted of the projected digital web pages we were working on. Everything is running smoothly, on time and what we value the most is the pro-activity and the attention to details of the team. They consult us and foresee important details we did not have an eye for before.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First of all we really like the new webdesign we managed to conclude with the team. It resonates so well with our brand identity and it also serves well considering all the web and IT conditions it needs to cover and fit in with. I am very happy with this particular part as for the industry our business operates in this is absolutely important. Being unique, standing out, and showing how authentic you are. ExpandX managed to translate that via the webdesign which is awesome!

As we started advertising the new website we also see a lot of new users to spend time on the web pages, browse through and send inquiries about our products. For now those results of user activities are self-explanatory for the overall website quality, as it is not only modern, responsive and brand-aligned but it also serves very well its primary purpose.

To drive quality users and engage them to inquire about our products. We plan to upgrade the website to a full e-commerce one very soon and we will again choose ExpandX for the services of this upgrade

Excellent project management! I have to say "Wow!" We were introduced to a project manager form the very beginning and since the start of the work on the project were were kept informed and updated on a regular basis of the progress, what is required by who, what will be done by who, etc. That gave us a great sense of accountability we cherish a lot. everything was always delivered on time!

The team departments engaged: web development, web design, IT admin, creative, SEO – all managed by the assigned project manager, worked in fine synergy to align resources and service delivery so that we project creation process felt sooth easy and as per initial expectations set.

We approached ExpandX as we were looking for a reliable company to build our new website. Their profile had quite good reviews and when we contracted them for the project we had. We had two main goals a/to build a new website and b/to improve our overall branding image. The team of ExpandX was so professional to approach those two separate tasks with their relevant departments and to walk us through the details of how to achieve the best results. 

We had our project managers assigned and we had few initial calls with the team to define the project briefs. From then onward the team delivered excellent results, always on time and with great communication skills. They also advised us on some specific points regarding the website development which we were not really sure about. They provided solid arguments on their professional opinion and we were comfortable to trust them. 

We manage to complete the website and the improved visual branding on time. We were delivered with the schedule project cycles deliveries on time, on the staging server and once all approved by us ExpandX process the final migration on the main domain address/hosting solution.

As we needed a new website that is modern from visual perspective and also technologically up to date we looked for agencies that can deliver on that. What was important for us was to work with a company that will understand what we are passionate about in our bakery business and how we have been successful for 37 years now. 

We were really happy to see the depth ExpandX team went when we initially approached them. They really managed to understand our needs and we ended up with a plan on how to build a new website but also how to improve our branding, communicate competitive advantages and add all that in a synchronized strategy for all our digital assets. 

The team of ExpandX worked on the development of our new website, created a new brand visual design concept and also worked on improving, updating and upgrading our social media digital assets. All that was delivered from the respective departments and in in full alignment as per the strategy agreed.

We have recently launched our new website and have also finished on internal decor improvements in the shop as per the new branding concepts which are also aligned with the digital ones as per the strategy ExpandX developed and the feedback we are getting from our regular customers (we are on the market for 37 years) about the easiness and the look & feel of the new website is absolutely great. 

The new website also has the functionality to process online orders which was crucial of us as we wanted to be able to serve wider pool of clients via digital channels. Our current clients love it and already use it as well and we are also registering increase in the orders that are coming form new customers that we have not served before and who have not visited our physical shop (that is a result of the digital efforts and assets created and developed by ExpnadX). 

Judging on those great results I can only imagine the business growth we will achieve in one or two years. We are also exploring opportunities to start PPC campaigns with ExpandX to also support all the other services they delivered so far.

We had two approaches - one company that was recommended by a friend of mine and to seek an external provided that we select ourselves. We initiated talks with 4 companies in total and all of them appeared to have very good knowledge and were very professional in terms of understanding what we need and technical ability to deliver it.

However ExpandX stood out with highest level of competence, pro-activeness and quick replies. They also elaborated on questions we initially did not think about that actually helped us a lot at that stage. So we ended up selecting ExpandX.

We started with the website development. We worked with few different team departments - Design, SEO, Web development, IT admin and marketing - to cover all major needs of this project. We had a project manager that smoothly navigated us through all the process, steps, revisions, idea stages, etc.

Once we finished that project for approximately 3 months. we then started with the other service lines that were all executed smoothly, with great communication flow and clear processes agenda. We were always given professional and meaningful answers by the separate team departments when we needed clarifications.

For the website development we worked with 6 team members - web design, head of web development, SEO specialist, UX/UI specialists and IT admin. A project manager - Ellie - lead all the communication flow and reporting. For the braiding and social media service lines we worked with other 3 team members from design and marketing departments. Ellie was over the top of the project management again.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had great results with website for the initial month of operations. We had smooth migration process and clients were very satisfied with the new digital product. We also received compliments from some clients that they really like our new website and they said it is much easier to navigate compared to the old one.

We are also seeing some increase in our traffic levels, time spent on the website, and other important metrics. Overall very good results for the initial period after the launch of the website.

We had regular email status quo updates, smooth and very easy to follow communication flow via email as well as regular meetings to discuss the projects progress. Before we did not receive any inquires neither phone calls from our old site. Those have changed and we have numerous calls and mail inquiries every day. We are glad that most of the administrative work is done by the system. We only deal with few special inquiries of certain clients and can focus on the work in the background.

The result talks about itself the most. Both teams worked as one at the end. Definitely the easiest communication even for the youngsters who were in from our side
