We needed a fresh and more innovative approach in our overall marketing strategy = we needed to get people to visit our shops in the shopping malls where we sell our products, educate them about what USPs we offer, and engage with them in an effective way both online and offline. We needed a complex sales, lead gen, and marketing approach towards all that and also an improvement in our sales and marketing funnels - visuals, creative, offers, sales. We have researched companies to contact and have shortlisted ExpandX. We have been surprised by the level of expertise and professionalism in the initial communication. We were very pleased with the strategy proposed and the offer and once we discussed the details were sure to start working with them. They have a team covering all aspects of web, digital and sales - everything our businesses needed in order to do the fresh restart we were looking for. Also they had a good knowledge of the markets we were operating at.

We started with a deep analysis of the market niche, buyer personas, and the competition. The results were very thought-provoking and led us to the key were looking for. Going back with ExpandX made us move forward. Super useful! The team was great with that.

Once we had the analysis of the marketing, sales, and e-commerce verticals, we proceeded with building up the marketing strategy. ExpandX offered two approaches and we were consulted how those may result in terms of goals set, time frame, KPIs, etc. We agreed to proceed with a mix of those two and so far the results are in place. We are very satisfied with the numbers and the progress.

I think that the whole team got involved with the project as we worked on many service lines. Marketing specialists, designers, video marketing experts, digital ads experts, UX/UI and web developers, copywriters, etc. The whole project is managed by a project manager. Temelko who is the CEO is all over the project too. Extremely valuable!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We managed to (in 3 months) change the brand perspective we had in the past - a bit rusty image of a discounts company. This was something we had to deal with. Also, the number of leads generated increased and keep increasing. We also manage to divert people visiting our online stores to also engage with our shops and vice-versa. This brings the engagement levels up and ultimately leads to sales growth.

They were great. The team was very communicative and got any problems figured out. We used email to keep in touch.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

ExpandX did what they said they would do within the timeframe they said they were going to do it - creative, key visuals, marketing strategy, marketing concepts, video marketing, website improvements, analysis, digital ads. We’re very happy that there weren’t any problems and that everything is running smoothly.

I’m running a chemicals company operating in Southern and Eastern Europe. I founded it with the aid of an EU project. We manufacture domestic chemical products.

What challenge were you trying to address with ExpandX Marketing & Web?

I was into old-style, traditional marketing, and I knew nothing about the internet and online products. When I was submitting the business plan with the investment bank, I was advised that I’d have to invest in digital marketing.

We needed help with digital marketing, website, strategy, and design, so I started searching for a company that could do all these things for me. I didn’t want to go to one company for the website, another one for marketing, and another for package design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ExpandX Marketing & Web built my website, and we continued from there. The site presents our services for our investors. From there, they helped us with design, email marketing, and so on. 

They gave me a questionnaire covering website features like map locations—minor things I hadn’t even thought about. The pattern applied for all other projects, including the design team and the email marketer in charge of supplier relations. They advised me on how to harmonize different marketing activities.

They set up a strategy for contacting suppliers on LinkedIn. They designed my logo and all the branding. They designed my newsletter, and they made three marketing videos.

What is the team composition?

I discuss everything with Temelko (CEO). He introduced me to the team in the beginning. I have another point of contact, who manages everything for us. I’ve had meetings with their designer. I didn’t communicate directly with the people doing the website. I gave out all the instructions and revisions to the manager.

A friend told me about ExpandX Marketing & Web. I looked them up on Google and checked out their work. I looked at other companies, but ExpandX was fast in replying to me, and they had good answers to my questions. They invited me to meet with them, and I felt like we had a human relationship from the start. I’m a businessman, and I know that things are done for money, but I didn’t feel like ExpandX was there just to take my money. They had an interest in what I and my business needed.

The communication was very good in the beginning, and their offer was very detailed. I was given a timeline for what would be done and when. A lot of the other companies I contacted didn’t even answer. I felt safe with ExpandX.

The website cost around €3,500 (approximately $4,000 USD), the Facebook and LinkedIn strategy was around €2,000 (approximately $2,400 USD), the business card and packaging design was €1,000 (approximately $1,200 USD), and the videos cost €300 each (approximately $360 USD). The total was around $16,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with ExpandX in April or May 2020, and the website was done in 3–4 months. We continued with other work from there. I still go to them when I need new business cards or a Christmas calendar.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can’t judge the code quality, but I asked all my business partners how they like the site and whether it needed changes. Everyone likes the site, and they think it’s very modern. I’ve referred a few of those people to ExpandX Marketing & Web.

Most companies in my industry have terrible websites, from the past century. What I got was very good, and I’ve gotten some important contracts on LinkedIn through the strategy ExpandX Marketing & Web put together. If I didn’t have a good website and all the pieces weren’t put together, no matter the strategy, I wouldn’t have gotten the partners I have. We’ve managed to contact people in Hungary, Croatia, and Greece, and I've gotten good business there. That’s especially important during the pandemic.

How did ExpandX Marketing & Web perform from a project management standpoint?

They were always communicative, and it didn’t feel like I was being sold something. I was always consulted on what the different projects would be, and everything was divided into micro-steps. I always felt like my business was being taken care of.

Their CEO was always available. If not, he returned my call in a day or two. They always delivered on time, and they always kept me updated.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was totally unprepared for the digital field, and I felt that I was being taken care of by ExpandX Marketing & Web. My business was in good hands with them.

We had a good working relationship, that’s super important to me. I could never do good business with bad people, or with people who are after quick money. This was exactly the opposite. They were open, caring, and communicative.

I’m really happy with the service, so I couldn’t say. Someone could say they’re expensive, but it’s never been an issue because I received quality results. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I went to ExpandX Marketing & Web with information that would give them context. I didn’t just give them a list of things to do. ExpandX Marketing & Web always engaged with me in a collaborative way. They checked and verified ideas, which required time and resources from me because I know my business niche.

It’s a mutual project. They have very good ideas and knowledge, but, if I left them alone, they probably wouldn’t have been able to hit the target very well. Whoever comes to them needs to think of it as getting an external marketing partner that’s actually a part of the team.

I sent an inquiry and they have sent me a very thorough brief so that they can understand more about our business needs. The project started with a very detailed analysis of ur business needs, the markets we operate at, the audience we target, our products presentation, unique selling points, how we stand against competitors based on various factors, etc. The initial report we received shown perfectly well where we needed to put focus on both with the website and the digital marketing activities to.

The team also design a very well-set strategy for the campaigns and activities we are having in 2021 so that consistency is in place. We are in constant and very effective communication with a project manager of the company and we are keep in the loop of development and results at all time. The team of specialists is working and managing all the campaigns. We receive the ideas initially and once approved they go live.

We also get a full report and decide how to continue with the campaign based on the results. Temelko is always there for us when we need strategic and expert advice on important matters.

I got a message from a former university colleague of mine. Over the years the firm he works at become one among our competitors. He saw the digital "restart" and expansion we were doing and asked me if we have established a marketing team within the firm. That speaks it all. If we are seen by the industry competitors we are making the right moves. We also got a very good flow of inquiries from potential clients. So far the outcomes are very very good.

Again, my point of contact is one project manager. We communicate via e-mail on regular basis. The level of professionalism is very good and the quality of work as well. It is effective and straight to the point indeed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have experts in every line of web development or digital marketing services, but what I find really valuable is that they work very effectively together so that you feel you work with 1 person but with the brains of 20 specialists. Well done guys!

We were introduced to ExpandX by reference of a friend, of a colleague of mine whose business partner worked with them before. I did not expect that to become such a good intro as we, later on, contracted ExpandX for few services lines we needed professional assistance with. We worked with them on our website development as we needed some technical and web design improvements to be done. As we were looking to expand our e-commerce line of business due to Covid cases boost in the US we also integrated such solutions to the website.

That grew to the development of a whole marketing services pack of services with a focus on e-commerce and lead gen. The services included are video marketing and video ads production, google ads campaigns, Facebook corporate page management, blog articles creation, and creative design for our visuals used in digital and print formats.

There are different specialists involved in the different projects. We communicated mainly with a project manager but there are web developers, marketing experts, digital ads specialists, and designers involved as well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We got what we were looking for in Q3-4 of 2020. This was vital for us as the business climate in the US was not at its best due to many circumstances. Digital presence gave us the boost we needed and set the layout for the business growth we are aiming for in 2021. This all comes down to the steady flow of customer inquiries which are relevant to what we offer as products and services and also a much better digital image of the company.

'They really know what they are doing no matter if it is a marketing or web development-related task. They were very communicative, the team engaged with the proposal and the consulting prior that - Temelko, Ellie, and Atanas - wonderful work. They consulted us on topics we did not think about. This turned out to be a very good proactivity approach for the whole project. All the questions we had were answered professionally. We also were impressed by the portfolio presented.

The project was divided in two main parts - website development and building a marketing strategy. The first one was very well planned and executed. There was a project manager to manage all the steps, revisions, ideas, Q&A, and development processes. We received few initial design ideas and once we chose one direction the project continued in a very easy way. The web development team of ExpandX is really good and they did exactly what we needed!

Then the marketing strategy development begun where other type of specialists were involved with more marketing and sales background. The first service took approximately 3 months to be completed and the second I think 2. Now we have a very complex 12 months expansion marketing and sales strategy that touches a lot of points. This is already in execution and is delivering results.

Very well organized and carried out project and work!

Yes. The website was ranked in terms of SEO almost 1 month after the launch and is increasing its ranking performance every month. We also got more inquiries and messages with the new design and marketing concepts implemented. This si probably also due to the whole set of the marketing strategy designed and implemented. We got new clients, signed new contracts in neighboring countries which inquiries came as a result from the whole marketing and website development work.

Communication was excellent! We got all the information before we asked for it. The project manager was very proactive and informative. Communication was mainly via e-mail and when needed we had a strategic meeting with Temelko, the CEO. Timelines were all met precisely.

The web development team is very good! They have great ideas and know how to implement them so that your website is better than the one of the competitors. They are proactive and very communicative. Also, the marketing and sales team, also with Temelko's experience is top!

We approached ExpandX Marketing with projects related to our investment portfolio of residential properties we manage in London, UK. We have acquired new properties and we needed improvements related to our branding, digital presence, online communication, marketing and sales management as our focus was mainly in solid business development during the last 5 years.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to launch a new corporate website (with a B2B focus) and another website (with a B2C focus). This was the first stage of our project with ExpadnX. The competition in London is extremely intense and difficult and we needed to stand out as a brand and organization.

Once this initial phase of the project was completed the schedule was to continue with building on the digital presence of the brand. This covered intense and powerful boosts in terms of lead generation, retention campaigns, customer engagement and brand awareness campaigns.

All that was targeted with the end goal of physical customers to enter our sales suites in central London where our sales specialists and negotiations were managing the deals. This mix was later on supplemented with Employer branding and corporate branding campaigns which were mainly targeted at our staff and partners.

The procedure was long but we started with a referral from the industry. A colleague of ours knew the CEO who was actively involved in the real estate market.

The knowledge, both in marketing and real estate, which the team of ExpandX showed us during the several strategic calls we had was impressive. Once we were presented the year round strategy we and previous work results were made our decision to work with them.

I would divide it in two parts. Website development and Marketing & Sales campaigns. For the firs part the team did an extensive research and series of discovery calls with us and our team to understand better what we need. The schedule was tight but we managed to do the preparation well enough.

Then in period of few months we extensively worked on the website development. The team advised us on a lot of topics as there were many questions arising all the time. Once we had our B2B and B2C websites ready and functioning we continued with the marketing mix the planing of the campaigns. This was done in very digestible and easy for us way.

The team planned and worked on everything - visuals, video ads, creative, brand alignment, funnels, prospects, customer profile, targeting in therms of geographies, etc. We had a very strong digital ads campaigns for the first months but later on gradually moved on to more targeted and "vast" digital coverage of the campaigns. All very well planned, managed and optimized.

Very well structured. The CEO is on top of everything but we were assigned a project manager to run all the campaigns and project. Reporting, deadlines, project deliveries, communication and timing is great. We worked with the marketing and the web dev team mainly.

We have managed to build a solid pipeline of qualified leads for our new property developments. This was the end goal and we managed to deliver on that effectively. Our residential units were sold/rented out accordingly and in time as per the schedule. All this thanks to the right marketing mix, preparation and expertise of the ExpandX team.

Their knowledge of the industry we operate in was impressive. Obviously they did a serious market research prior every major step of the campaigns. This proved to be working excellent months later.

Once this project was completed we continued working with the team of ExpandX on social media marketing, facebook ads, goodle ads and marketing strategy projects related to visual design and SEO as well.

We have seen that they have worked on other projects in the Hospitality industry. We have seen their portfolio and other websites the team have created and really liked their work. Also the communication and the approach to us as a new customer was very good. That made us choose them as a service provider.

For all the projects we had with ExpandX the team always started with the very detailed brief. Once we gave back the information needed, that was analysed by the team, we then discussed the strategy proposed and the steps with the project manager. Planing and processes were very good. Regarding the website development they started with a very well structured plan of the procedure, gave us information we need to decide on, gave us some design samples and navigated the project smoothly.

We received the first draft version of the website. It was beautiful. Than we did some coordinated revisions on the final touches, texts, images, etc - and the website was completed. They advised us on so many aspects we even did not think of! Perfect job! When we continued with the maintenance and management of the social media of our Facebook business profile the processes were kind of a similar ones.

They developed beautiful creatives and visuals, text and aligned everything in a posting plan. Everything was communicated very well with concrete targets, arguments, goals and explanations why it is done in such a way. Same was the approach with the paid ads in Facebook and Google. Which were developed top to bottom by ExpandX and gave us great results. The team also helped us with the design and printing of business cards, internal hotel branding, brand stationary and other marketing materials.

We have seen tremendous results in the first three months since the launch of the new website and the upgrades of our business profiles in the social media platforms. Engagement with the customers we had in the hotel transferred to the digital platforms and other saw the positive response as well.

That was spreading rapidly and we started getting more activities on our digital profiles and more inquiries from new guests, which thanks to the digital campaigns, new website, ads and activities saw the potential of our hotel an the quality of the services we deliver. We have seen occupancy rates increasing in April and May, compared to lower ones the previous year. Thank you!

The whole process started with them sending us a precise marketing brief questionnaire in order to clarify our business, the current situation of our marketing activities and our goals for the future. After reviewing it, they prepared a full marketing strategy with concrete steps to achieve our business goals.

We decided together to focus on the following actions:

• optimizing the landing page of our savings plan for lead generation. We received a very detailed step-by-step report outlining why certain actions were needed and how to implement them
• creating a Facebook campaign from creatives and copywriting, to setting everything up and managing the campaign itself
• creating a content marketing plan for a newly launched Instagram page

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During the period of the campaign managed by ExpandX team we managed to almost double the reach while decreasing the cost per conversion more than 3 times. The traffic to our landing page also tripled, and we are consistently getting more leads compared to previous periods. Our Instagram page is up and running and we are already getting followers without any promotion on our side.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow itself was as impressive as the results achieved by the team. From the beginning, the process was smooth and the cooperation - efficient. The communication with our account manager was very easy and efficient.

We shared files in the cloud, talked mainly through email and phone and she managed to minimize the effort needed from our part, very clearly indicating what is expected from us so that we are on schedule. Feedback was always taken into account without compromising the effectiveness of the projects.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Even though all campaigns are measured by the results achieved, and in our case the results were great, for me personally what was even more impressive was the efficiency of their work in the day-to-day tasks leading to a successful outcome.

They developed a very professional workflow that removes miscommunication,  stressfull deadlines, and execution compromises.

I’m the marketing manager for the newly opened Algara Beach Hotel, which is located on the southern part of a quiet resort village in Bulgaria.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to establish ourselves as one of the top five newly opened resorts/hotels in the North Black Sea coastal region. We work in close cooperation with the ExpandX team. They gave us a very detailed and professional marketing strategy at the beginning of the project. We did a meeting with our management team to make sure that this strategy was aligned with our business goals. After the meeting, we set realistic targets, and, since then, ExpandX has analyzed, developed, executed, and further improved an array of marketing activities.

The team is executing our digital ad campaigns, which include text, images, and videos, while also designing our marketing materials and building out our communication strategy. They’ve also implemented promotional offers and sales incentives as part of a marketing and sales strategy.

We were assigned an account manager that coordinates the whole project, including all of the marketing activities. The greater team that has worked on the project thus far is composed of a designer, several marketing specialists, a copywriter, some Facebook and Google Ads specialists, and a web developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We’ve executed a very successful marketing campaign for the opening of the facility. Sales have increased, and all of the results have matched the initial business goals set by our management team.

In terms of lead generation, we have a strong, stable, and consistently full list of inquiries from members of our target audience. Brand awareness has also increased, and we’re now easily recognizable in the local hospitality market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow has been absolutely great! Project management is smooth, and their team is very straightforward with us. We’re in constant communication with our account manager.

We receive weekly and monthly reports—both quantitative and qualitative—that show our progress towards sales targets and other business goals. We communicate primarily via email and speak over the phone or in-person when necessary.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They performed a professional and thorough analysis of our business goals during our very first meetings. Also, they are very open to feedback and communication. The marketing know-how that they possess is top-notch!
