I am HRM in Yandex. It's the one of the biggest IT companies in Russian Federation that brings valuable impact in digital-part of every day for all country. For now we have more than 80 000 employees.

I support internal clients, their hiring, onboarding, adaptation, training, career, integration and achievements by gamification, and corporate life.

For what projects/services did your company hire Embacy?

We needed web-site for Customer Support department in Media services in Yandex cos we changed onboarding system and need to translate our values.

We choose Embacy for they really modern digital design thinking. Very clean, minimalistic, functional and exactly what you want for the fastest time ever with every-step synchronising meet-ups. That's not a dream — that's true

We needed one landing page with button for welcome-integration with inner services for onboarding, and we got it https://www.kinopoisk.ru/special/support/

First of all, we looked for inner services to help us to do the page, and the other several companies after. Embacy is the most organized team that delivers high-quality results that we found, so we even haven't a choice — only goal to work with professionals.

General: Make a one page landing page Goal-hunting support for Yandex media Services

The task of the landing page: tell / sell media Services as a place of work (values, culture, etc) tell / sell support jobs in media services make it so that the person left the application/went to the test

Embacy task:

• to make a landing in a modern youth style
• make it simple and clear, but interesting
• with illustrations (we offer three styles, one of which will be illustrated, perhaps one of the three would be without them)

• Movie Search and transition in St. Petersburg

On details:

• The landing will be hosted on the Kinopoisk website
• 1 sprint or in comfort mode for two
• Webflow, do versions of mobile, tablet, desktop, each 1 version of the layout. If after the launch you plan to adjust the content often, it is better to screw CMS, so you can do it quickly. Specify whether there is such a need
• The final work will be sent in the archive, so we placed it at home, buying and hosting the domain on our side
• Communication is conducted by mail, but you will always have access to the working form —Phones.

It is important to agree on them and not to miss them, if we have planned them and that one person makes decisions on them on your part. The process is built from General to specific, for example, if you decided to change the prototype in the end of the sprint, we will likely not have time to do it and put in the extra work

Once we selected this vendor, we had a call with Embacy team to discuss in detail our goals and the process. Within the next week, we had a call every day to discuss and confirm every stage of work. All process of redesign took a week.

We were assigned to a project manager to coordinate with us, but we were aware that three more people were working on the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After the launch of the redesigned website, we noticed an increase in traffic, we also got more page views of the products. The overall feedback from our community about the new design was positive.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow and communication with the team were very smooth and fast. We received emails every day with the description of results, had calls every morning to confirm each stage and discuss possible tricky moments. Also, we could check the process whenever we'd like in Figma.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were amazed by the creativity and proficiency of the Embacy team. After this project, we worked with Embacy on three other websites. And the results are fantastic!

We needed help building our new English website and updating our brand materials.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Embacy provided us with several design ideas and a website design that reflected our company's culture. As a PE/VC fund company, we focus on technology investment and growth with our portfolios. Embacy used all the illustrations to link with our company's values. They also used lines and illustrations together with our company's theme.Moreover, since we are based in Hong Kong, Embacy added some of our Chinese traditional culture inside the concept, which made our brand material more special. The team delivered a complete website design and brand guidelines.

We just launched the website yesterday, and it brings a new image to our audiences, breaking the old stereotype we had. We’ve received good comments, but also some feedback on the color palette. We’re planning to add a new section, and we’ll keep gathering comments.

Embacy has delivered on time. Due to the time difference, we may have the feeling that they’re slow, but they’re not.Our primary form of communication is virtual meetings.

They can dive into a new industry, understand our business challenges, and provide concepts quickly and on-brand. I was a little hesitant at first since their portfolio is primarily fintech. I was concerned they wouldn't be able to "fun" or "cool" and would play it safe given the industries of the majority of their clients. But our team was blown away by their creativity from pitch to the first round. We ended up combining 2 concepts that we loved so much.

Providing their services as deliverables based on a set number of rounds vs. a sprint schedule so work doesn't feel as rushed or lose steam towards the end of the sprint.
