We decided to use Shopify, as we had already done quite extensive design work on it, but Ecompapi Digital Agency helped us optimize our design so that it was really customer friendly. When we were happy, we continued with the development. Now that the site is finished, we are going on a separate journey with marketing.

At the onset, we presented them with a PowerPoint presentation of what we envisioned. When Ecompapi came in, they made our site prettier, positioned everything well, and chose the right colors and pictures.

They have a lot of experience, and we realized that taking their suggestions would be a very good idea. We insisted on some things, but what they suggested made sense at that time. They showed us three designs initially, but they weren't exactly what we were looking for. The following week, they came back with another design that was much more in line with our direction.

We just concluded the engagement recently, so it is hard to determine success based on numbers, but I can say that the website is designed to be optimized and user-friendly.

There were no problems with the design team. We had some disagreements, which is normal for this kind of project, but we worked very professionally. When we addressed something we didn’t like, they came back to us with constructive feedback.

Everything went smoothly with the development team initially as well. We did think the project would be done two months earlier than it was, however. We always got feedback and communicated with them weekly, but by the end of the project, they didn’t provide a lot of feedback, the wait time for things to be checked increased. 

The scheduling was also delayed, which was understandable. The delays also could have been our fault as well because we struggle to determine what was most important. We are a team of perfectionists. ​​​​​

We had a shared Google sheet that tracked everything that needed to be done. We knew exactly what the design team had to do, when that was completed, we continued on with the development. We felt that everything was managed really well, and we knew where we were with the cost.

The highlight of working with them is how much they care about our project. We've worked with a lot of different freelancers and people, and I have to say that it isn’t the same. Our project isn't just another job that needs to be done.
