As a new business, we needed a professionally crafted website that represented our standards and our culture. Our main goal was to create something truly unique that mirrored our new identity with animation and seamless user experience.

I had previously worked with Yevhen, Fuad and their team on other similar projects and I was impressed by their commitment, knowledge and reactive attitude to all tasks at hand.

The scope of works was set out clearly through a meticulous process of planning, team meetings, targeted objectives and detailed communication. Fuad integrated into the language and personality of my business perfectly, to ensure I was confident everything was being handled the correct way. Yevhen and his team were always available when there were amendments, creative changes and feedback to be discussed. I was impressed by their thorough approach from start to end.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As a site that has very recently launched, the feedback from prospecting clients and other businesses has been nothing short of amazing. As a modernised marketing agency with a passion for making an impact, I strongly believe the end result will make meaningful impressions on many businesses over the coming months.

The project management style was adaptable, innovative and innovative. We had informal chats that were active for the majority of working hours spent on this project and detailed, energetic team meetings to summarise larger scale next steps and deliverables.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The entire team adapts to my way of working, with no hesitation or question. This is a valuable skill for B2B relationships. Throughout the project I was never left wishing we had communicated better. All details were explained and all measurable targets were exceeded.

I have no comment for improvement. The entire workforce delivered a beautiful result.

What challenge were you trying to address with ECO & Tech?

We had an incredibly complicated process for bookings. We dealt with about 260 different languages, and we needed a booking system that could manage tens of thousands of bookings a month.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ECO & Tech built a bespoke booking system for us to manage 260+ languages. They designed and developed a portal that allowed us, our clients, and our end-users to access the system remotely. Later, they created an app that is also connected to this core system. 

They designed wireframing and architecture and handled the product’s release. They’ve also helped with system infrastructure, DevOps, database, and web content. Overall, they help manage an ongoing development cycle. Currently, they handle ongoing management of the system.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with the CTO and had a primary Project Manager. Behind them, I had a full team covering multiple disciplines, including DevOps, Infrastructure, Designer, UI/UX, Senior Developers, Front End Developers, Full Stack Developers and Test Engineers — we had access to the whole team.

How did you come to work with ECO & Tech?

We found them through a Google search. Then, we organized a program to narrow down suppliers, and ultimately we went with ECO & Tech. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around £250,000–£500,000 (approximately $315,000–$631,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around March 2019. Although I’ve moved on from the company, the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Without the system ECO & Tech developed, the company wouldn’t be able to do what it does. There was nothing we could buy off the shelf that could do what we needed, so they built the system according to our needs. 

How did ECO & Tech perform from a project management standpoint? 

They were really good at project management and very proactive. We used Jira for task management and Microsoft Teams to communicate. We had daily meetings and a weekly video call. At the beginning of the project, we met with them to go through the wireframes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their ability to understand the project’s requirements. Other providers were busy trying to sell me what they could do and weren’t interested in what I needed. Meanwhile, ECO & Tech weren’t trying to sell me something; they tried to understand the complex problem we wanted to solve.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they needed to improve.

We started cooperation with 'Eco & Tech' company several years ago. Initially, these were fragmentary web development projects. But after several successful projects, we switched to constant cooperation and technical support from 'Eco & Tech'.

The bulk of the work was related to the development and technical support of the sites. Basically, all the work was done from scratch and the guys gave us a project that was ready for full work.

After restarting the website, we received a clearer content structure, increased traffic, new requests for cooperation.

The main thing I want to note is daily communication and a clear understanding of the hourly costs for each task.

I like the transparency of their processes and their timeliness and professionalism.

I work as a Graphic and Digital Designer in Denmark. My company is just me - a one-person company. My company develop design within all fields of graphic and digital design: Websites, app, printed matter, corporate identity, illustrations and design consulting at strategic level.

ECO & Tech do all the technical implementation of the design that I develop, for various Danish clients: Copenhagen2021.com, the tourist organisation VisitRoskilde, and the company C7 Consulting. ECO & Tech do frontend and backend implementation in WordPress CMS. And for VisitRoskilde they made a custom website in vue.js: Roskilde Routes.

How did you select ECO & Tech and what were the deciding factors?

In a freelance position a few years ago I made website design for the Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Fund (refund.org). Web Peppers - which later turned into ECO & Tech - was chosen to implement the design and make the whole CMS, SEO and similar tasks. I was very satisfied with working with them and thus decided to continue with that.

ECO & Tech do frontend design implementation in WordPress. And for the Roskilde Routes they made a website using vue.js, including language variants. ECO & Tech help with optimisation of the solutions to keep everything up to date with focus on security.

My contact person is always the same project manager, and I do not know which and how many IT developers are involved. It works very fine for me with the single contact.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I have no directly measurable outcomes, but all clients are very satisfied with the work.

I communicate with the project manager via email and Skype. Things are usually done within the time frame that we agree upon.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Despite to distance between me in Denmark and ECO & Tech in Ukraine, I never feel this is a problem. Neither do cultural differences. The collaboration is seamless.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In development processes there are always small bugs and misunderstandings. But I have never experienced problems - they always respect my feedback and fix the errors.

They handled the project very smoothly. It was comfortable to work with them. ECO & Tech’s approach is very personal. They were genuinely interested in my business. Even though they’ve never worked with educators, they studied this subject so they could tailor their service to our needs. Sometimes, they even provided more than what I needed and it was very helpful.

How did ECO & Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They were open to doing what was comfortable for us. We communicate through email, Google Meet, and WhatsApp. ECO & Tech is very flexible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ECO & Tech has an exceptional human approach. They knew us as individuals and not just an entity. Their team knew our temperament and mood and adapted to meet us where we were. They were always focused on making things happen.

I go to technical partners when I need additional expertise, one of them being ECO & Tech.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve worked with ECO & Tech on developing MVPs for startups. They act as business analysts at the start of our collaborations. They break down the initial masses of information. This is followed by software design, web development, and backend development. They’ve mainly used Python and PHP on our projects. They use React on the frontend, and they’ve used AngularJS in the past as well.

We’ve worked on a lot of native mobile apps, but ECO & Tech is using the Xamarin platform now too. I typically work with them on B2B products, including process automation, sales automation, and document management. One larger project we’ve worked on involved creating a platform that would allow users from various companies to get easy access to various products through single sign-on (SSO).

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with 10–12 people from ECO & Tech over the years. Yevhen (CTO) was always my main point of contact.

How did you come to work with ECO & Tech?

I’ve known one of their founders for over 20 years, but we hadn’t been in touch for a long time. I was searching for contractors and talked to the founders of various IT companies in Ukraine, Poland, Serbia, Belarus, and others.

I was living in Sweden at the time, and local contractors were too expensive. I saw ECO & Tech’s founder on a website and remembered that I knew him in the past. We spoke, I gave them a try with a small project, and we moved on with more projects afterward.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost of this larger, individual project is approaching $90,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I had occasional collaborations with them 7–8 years ago, and we’ve worked more steadily since October 2014. We’ve had around 10 custom development projects since that time, taking 3–6 months each.

I worked with them on developing this larger platform project between September 2018–April 2020. The project isn’t frozen, but development on it has stopped. The partnership is ongoing, and we’re starting a new business process automation project now. I’m consulting the client, and ECO & Tech is providing technical development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My main KPI is adherence to budget and timelines, and ECO & Tech succeeded much more than any other past partners. There have been small deviations from the timeline, but no budget deviations.

They deliver excellent quality. I don’t have to do any testing at all, which is quite unusual for IT. When we do testing, we typically don’t find any major issues. There are almost zero critical issues after the first release.

How did ECO & Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They acclimate to our customers' project management preferences. I’ve used at least three different tools during our collaborations: Jira, Trello, and Favro. They have a business analyst and project manager assigned to every project, both following well-set-up processes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Working with startups is complicated, but they manage to complete all their work on time. ECO & Tech is sharp about meeting deadlines.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could scale further, which would give them more options when assigning project tickets. Working with startups can require rapid scaling. A bigger company has more flexibility in terms of staff growth, so that would improve ECO & Tech’s possibilities with my business especially.

I would suggest listening to ECO & Tech’s advice, focusing on planning, and then executing.

I’m a senior product designer at iX.co, a digital media company.

What challenge were you trying to address with ECO & Tech? 

We needed help with AR feature development for our client. We have developers in-house but we don’t have Unity developers. From our experience, our HR was trying to find the resources but it’s so hard because a lot of developers don’t have enough experience in Unity for AR. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

They found a developer in one week and it’s worked very well. They developed a product for the application we already had for the client. It was a gaming experience. You can navigate and make an object move. You can take pictures of videos and share them. It’s a very engaging experience. 

What is the team composition?  

There was a developer and a project manager. 

How did you come to work with ECO & Tech? 

We asked for references from people we knew. They were recommended to us. 

How much have you invested with them? 

We spent $5,000/month for two-and-a-half months. The second project in May was around the same amount of time. 

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working together in August-November 2019. Then, we worked on some other AR projects with them in May 2020 that lasted the same amount of time.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

A lot of people who use the application say they really like it. We are very happy with ECO & Tech. When our developers would do their job, it would work but then we’d need to do a lot of back and forth to fix how the interaction works and how it feels. Especially from a design perspective. I’d provide a lot of feedback to our developers. With ECO & Tech, it was great. I noticed their developer was very precise. He did a very good job to try to achieve what we imagined at the beginning. I was impressed. It was great. 

How did ECO & Tech perform from a project management standpoint? 

They help us make sure everything is done on time. There were no delays. If we messaged them, they’d respond right away. Project management was great. We communicated via email and we added the developer and the project manager to our Slack channel and Jira. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They are able to provide what we need very fast. We had tight deadlines and they did a great job with quality. We were very happy with them. It’s not very often our company has AR projects and we were very pleased to work with ECO & Tech to get this outcome.

I can’t think of anything they could improve. We were satisfied.

Know from the beginning what it is you want to achieve. Outline the requirements and you will get great results.

All projects have been completed to a high standard, on time and via very reactive processes. They're good at working in our environment and with internal processes, from MS Planner or Trello through to repos.

We use Teams and Planner to communicate and all works well. Never a problem to have a Teams or Zoom call during the project for any queries they have. Always open to feedback from us and always with a view of working smarter together.

The quality of their work is pretty good. It’s rare to have development projects with no faults.

How did ECO & Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, when dealing with them, it was challenging for them to communicate in English. Because they’ve been engaged with me and my clients, there’s been a great improvement in that area. We use Trello and Slack, and we also communicate via video calls. In the development phase, we had daily standups.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ECO & Tech’s speed and response times are great. If there’s an issue, they work to resolve it no matter what time of day or night it is. They have a culture of doing a good job and not letting the client down, which I admire. The team is fabulous at responding to problems.

Be very clear from the start about your expectations and goals. Although they are technical and mathematically strong, you need to check in on them now and again. They also love documentation.
