What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Our project was unique in its demands for high performance and loads of media. We required Vention to deliver fast, high-quality code at startup speeds. They performed well! Our success was measured in shipping. We were a small, fast startup, and the only metric that mattered was how quickly we experimented. Vention closed tickets and bugs extremely quickly.For example, we had a bug fixathon that was team-wide, and one of Vention’s employees won, fixing over 100 bugs in a week. ### Web and mobile solutions for meeting space startup
Mindful of the increasingly flexible workforce, NY-based startup Convene set out to innovate commercial real estate by providing businesses of all types with the high-end amenities established tech startups enjoy.
The challenge
After raising a $20M Series B led by real estate leader Brookfield Property Partners, Convene approached Vention for our proptech expertise. Our challenge was to build its online booking solution from the ground up, integrating it with Stripe for more streamlined payment management.
Our impact


We implemented Salesforce CRM to automate booking, tax calculation, and property tracking, dramatically improving efficiency quickly. 
We also developed native iOS and Android apps to help landlords, tenants, and visitors manage all property-related activities easily in one place.
 Finally, we fine-tuned the Cafe application, enabling users to seamlessly handle on-site culinary services. 
With its powerful new tools, Convene established itself as the go-to place to work, meet, and host events for the likes of Amazon, Deloitte, and Netflix. 
They raised $231M+ in funding to continue driving real change across 23 locations worldwide.



### Web and native solutions for a fitness startup
Back in 2013, ClassPass set a highly ambitious goal: to bring together the world’s best workouts on one app. Once ClassPass had become the premier fitness membership platform, all it needed was the right engineering partner to help meet its goal. Vention made the cut.
The challenge
The project scope far exceeded ClassPass’s existing resources, and quick team growth was vital, but they didn’t have the time to hire gradually. Thanks to our pre-vetted talent and streamlined staffing approach, we were able to step up and build feature-rich iOS and Android solutions from scratch and help develop a venue portal and admin panel for more effective user and studio management.
Our impact


In just two months, 35+ best-in-class Vention developers were on board. 
We set up a CI/CD pipeline for internal services coupled  with DevOps best practices that helped ClassPass expand to 30 countries and unify more than 40,000 studios.
Backed by Vention from Series A to Series E and beyond, ClassPass not only became the world’s largest fitness network, but also the first unicorn of the decade to achieve an $8.4M valuation.



### Backend and Frontend optimization for Vestwell
New York-based fintech company Vestwell identified that one-third of small US businesses had a big problem: the lack of a retirement savings plan due to high costs and administrative burden. To close the gap, it built a pioneering API-based technology that streamlines workplace investing programs.
The challenge
Powered by an ambitious plan to power 30 million companies nationwide, Vestwell enlisted Vention for a series of development projects that could improve the entire platform and enhance recordkeeping modules. Vestwell also relied on us to fold in high-stakes integrations with state retirement plans and the Voya and Franklin financial platforms.
Our impact


We evaluated and refactored product code to increase agility, security, and development speed. 
We engineered three advanced recordkeeping modules and integrated existing infrastructure with third-party HR and payroll systems. 
Having supported Vestwell since its Series A, we’ve watched the company grow into one of the top US digital recordkeeping providers. 
In 2020, Vestwell reached 200 percent overall growth, followed by a $63M Series C in 2021 led by Wall Street giants such as Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. 
In 2022, Vestwell was on track to achieve 3x client growth.



### Humanizing healthcare with technology
As part of its mission to deliver exceptional online healthcare  to organizations across Canada, telemedicine startup Dialogue developed a winning formula: proprietary technology powered  by the country’s largest virtual medical team paired with  patient-centric care.
The challenge
After several unproductive engagements, Dialogue approached Vention for our DevOps expertise, backend proficiency, and cloud know-how. We immediately set to work building an innovative virtual clinic. 
Then, when COVID hit in 2020, Dialogue experienced a 5x surge in demand — and traffic — and their ongoing success rested on their ability to act fast. That’s when a dedicated Vention team jumped in and took over ongoing optimization that kept the company going in a time of crisis.

Having partnered with Dialogue since their Series A, we’ve supported them all the way through a partnership with Sun Life and a $79M IPO in early 2021. 
The latency of heavy queries was reduced from 60 seconds  to under 30 milliseconds.
We deployed a multi-account AWS environment  designed to provide granular, centralized, and secure control over workloads. 
We delivered a virtual clinic, automated patient management, preliminary screening via a chatbot, and assistance in preparing the platform for SOC 2 certification.



### Web development services for EliseAI
Amid the affordable rental housing crisis in the US, New York-based startup MeetElise developed an innovative solution: an AI leasing assistant that helps agents convert prospects into residents in a fully automated and cost-efficient way.
The challenge
After a series of high-ROI pilots with leading property management companies, MeetElise was looking to further enhance their platform. Referred by a former Vention client, they approached us for our web development expertise; they particularly needed to optimize their solution’s database performance, reduce run costs, and increase organizational efficiency.
Our impact


We implemented Amazon Cognito and Spring Security to boost the company’s cyber resilience across the entire value chain. 
Our team integrated several business-critical property management platforms and built AI-powered automatic replies, resulting in 30 percent faster client onboarding.
Our QA squad set up a new testing framework for timely bug fixes and better code quality. 
MeetElise can now respond and answer questions 24/7, improving conversions by 65 percent and freeing up bandwidth for their leasing teams to tackle more complex tasks.

### Resident services platform for Carson Living
With the residential property sector slow to digitize, Carson Living was one step ahead with its innovative idea: an all-in-one remote doorman and virtual concierge system designed to facilitate a more connected and personalized living experience.
The challenge
As Carson’s core engineering team, we needed to cover every aspect of web, mobile, and QA with apps that allowed convenient handling of maintenance requests, payments, and deliveries via a 24/7 remote service center. Our next task was integrating the solution with mission-critical hardware, including keyless electronic locks, live cameras, and wearables.
Our impact


We facilitated easy remote access and control of all properties listed in the system.
We added hundreds of new buildings to the platform, enabling more self-guided apartment tours and improving productivity. 
Due to frequent traffic spikes, our team also fine-tuned API architecture and set up load balancers to drive system responsiveness and overall business continuity.
Carson became a proptech pioneer and later partnered with market leader BuildingLink. In 2021, they doubled our team to build more solutions for millions across the US.



### Custom development for Verfacto
The ultimate goal of Verfacto, an advanced customer experience analytics platform, is to make data analytics work for a user — and not the other way round. By offering much more than just charts and graphs, the company helps businesses chart a winning marketing strategy through daily reports, real-time customer profiling, and AI-powered behavior predictions. 
The challenge
Though already successful in its field, Verfacto partnered with us to expand the solution’s functionality and maximize performance. Our major goal was to help the company handle millions of concurrent workflows more seamlessly and with less resources, which was possible thanks to leveraging the Cadence code platform.
Our impact


Vention’s engineers optimized data processing with the help of HyperLogLog to enable Verfacto to count unique users faster and in real time. 
We also introduced analyzing and aggregating customer-related data so online shops could improve customer segmentation and speed up the system’s response times.
Our team added reporting functionality based on aggregated data; this empowered Verfacto’s clients to quickly get visibility into what customer groups buy what and when — and adjust their strategic vision accordingly.



### StoneX: A trading partner you can trust
StoneX provides exceptional liquidity and service to trade global markets.
 
Challenge
StoneX was looking for a fintech-minded partner that would cover the full spectrum of services, from web and mobile engineering to test automation integration, followed by development and continuous enhancement of an extensive Salesforce solution.
 
Solution
Vention started by setting up a mobile team that brought native iOS and Android applications to the table. After the successful completion of this first stage, we moved on to web development.
To polish the products, Vention’s QA engineers conducted several rounds of test automation (smoke, regression and web service tests). This saved more than two months of testing per release.
As part of our Salesforce offering, we executed the optimization of database structure and refactoring. Vention’s team also put special effort into the initial deployment of the overall Salesforce strategy, including integration with payment and electronic signature systems.
 
Forex.com was very satisfied with the timely, on-scope and on-budget project deliverables, which resulted in a new cooperation with one of their acquisitions - City Index.


### Trading solution development for Axiance
Responding to ever-increasing competition in trading, Cyprus-based online broker Axiance (formerly EverFX) launched a major rebrand to enhance its services and value to customers. Increased efficiency and automation was the name of the game — and Salesforce was the replacement CRM of choice.
The challenge
Recommended by Salesforce and our existing client IC Markets, Vention stood out among competing software vendors and was selected to develop a full-fledged CRM solution. Our challenges were to seamlessly migrate 10 years of data from the existing infrastructure to Salesforce, reduce manual errors, improve user retention, and increase customer loyalty.
Our impact


First, we helped Axiance select the right Salesforce licenses to future-proof their investment. After just one week, Axiance was so impressed that they engaged us for custom client service development. 
Our team integrated multiple APIs into the new system without downtime or data loss. 
We added new languages to the system, plus 200 different methods to deposit or withdraw money. 
We also redesigned the client-facing mobile app on both Android and iOS for 24/7, on-the-go insight into assets in real time. 
Overall, this brand-new omnichannel experience dramatically increased sales.



### Salesforce implementation for IC Markets
As one of the world’s most renowned Forex brokers, IC Markets wanted to better serve its 200,000+ active clients worldwide by going digital.
The challenge
The goal was ambitious: replace a 10-year-old legacy CRM system with Salesforce and fully automate all core business processes. As an experienced digital transformation advisor and Salesforce partner, Vention was fit for the job, so our team of senior developers and Salesforce specialists set to work.
Our impact


We interviewed key users and performed a thorough requirements analysis to get the inside scoop on IC Markets’ current sales processes, corporate hierarchy, and goals.
Our team outlined a detailed tech strategy and scheduled all required workshops and training.
We set up Salesforce Sales Cloud and then migrated data from the existing CRM. We also customized the synced database, elevating the customer experience across every touchpoint. 
Vention’s engineers configured advanced reports and dashboards for increased visibility, enabling IC Markets to track sales spikes and generate brand loyalty.
IC Markets now has a 360-degree view of their customer base, as well as automated KYC (“know your customer”), lead generation, and account management processes.

 Next, we overhauled the backend of DAQ’s solutions. We migrated the existing functionality to a new, high-capacity architecture quickly — and with next-to-no business disruption.

### Repeat prescriptions in the palm of your hand
Two-thirds of prescriptions in the UK are refills. But with an average of 10 days and several trips from GP to pharmacy needed for patients to obtain their medications, change was needed. Cambridge-based startup Healthera had the cure: an app that allowed patients to request, track, and manage repeat prescriptions in just a few taps.
The challenge
When they needed a proven healthtech partner, Healthera turned to Vention to accelerate innovation and product development. Priority was placed on making Healthera’s pharma supply chain more resilient, which was of utmost importance during the height of the pandemic.

We created a solid refinement plan from the ground up, including code refactoring, mobile app architecture redesign, and QA automation framework development. 
Next, we set up containerized infrastructure to empower the delivery of high-quality code — faster and at scale. 
We addressed the latest mobile accessibility requirements, ensuring best-in-class UX and improving customer retention. 
Our engineers enhanced the geo-based search, which supported same-day drug delivery.



### Medical aid where it's needed most
Since its founding nearly 50 years ago, healthcare non-profit Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has experienced phenomenal growth, expanding its presence to over 70 countries. Historically, the company used multiple Salesforce systems to manage its global operation, but this ultimately led to decentralization and lots of disconnected data.

MSF wanted a partner with highly specialized non-profit expertise and that could help them merge multiple CRMs into one powerful solution
 
Solution
 
Once our team was in place, we quickly centralized all Salesforce instances, allowing MSF employees to manage all of their tasks with a single app, from anywhere in the world. Doing so also improved data retrieval, thanks to trimming down duplicates and outdated registries. 
 
To future-proof the new system, our team solved a number of pre-existing security issues, revamping access control and record management systems as well as enhancing the platform’s overall stability through the latest Salesforce APIs.

Launched the Svrf public API for developers and client libraries on multiple languages

### Channel Management system for video ad company
Zefr is the leading video advertising company enabling brands to run targeted ad campaigns, as well as monetize and protect content on key social media platforms.

To keep up with the increased number of users and workload, Zefr was looking for a brilliant engineering team that could blend with the onsite one. The Client turned to Vention to improve the existing Rights Management system, create a robust solution from scratch, and optimize it according to constantly shifting business and customers’ needs.
 
Solution
 
Vobile Group, which is a market powerhouse dealing with online video content protection and monetization, acquired Zefr in November 2019, so Vention’s team was entrusted to develop a new, more efficient Channel Management system from scratch. Here’s what we’ve managed to achieve: 

Built from scratch a Facebook Channel Management system that allows the company to take control of content protected by intellectual property and copyright laws
Integrated the existing YouTube Channel Management system into the new solution, thus getting rid of the old legacy system
Wrote a custom script to transfer a huge database from the existing legacy application to a new one
Migrated to microservices to handle the increased number of clients and workload
Upgraded the previous version of the Rights Management System to make it more user-friendly, functional, and robust
Added the Elasticsearch component to streamline the search among the vast number of copyrighted materials
Implemented test automation to ensure smooth system performance



### Web development services for DealCloud
DealCloud is a world-class provider of CRM and deal management solutions for private equity firms and investment banks.Before teaming up with Vention, DealCloud built its SharePoint-based CRM system. However, clients' diversified needs prompted DealCloud to create a more versatile and flexible solution. 

Since 2016, Vention has been implementing new features into a once-created platform to tackle all the rigid requirements coming from enterprise-level investment companies. The integrations we've made are designed to deliver precise data for better business analysis and decision-making processes. DealCloud's solution helps clients create extensive email campaigns, analyze recipients' interactions with emails, use the most precise data from external providers, and synchronize with Microsoft Office products. To enable the automation of transactions and deal-making activities, Vention's engineers developed an AI-based model that handles large data sets generated by capital market firms.
 
Throughout our 6-year partnership, Vention has been providing DealCloud with the exact skill sets needed, i.e. backend, frontend, QA, and DB specialists capable of handling complex, high-volume systems. 
 
Among the technologies, our engineers use both time-tested technologies, such as .NET, as well as the latest versions of React/Redux. To accelerate data search amidst the huge databases, we use Elasticsearch, Kibana, and AI Search. We also use Azure stack (Storage, Topics), as well as leverage AWS products and services.
 
After DealCloud joined Intapp, our engineers were entrusted to develop a comprehensive cloud-based platform - OnePlace, which will manage all phases of client relationships throughout the professional and financial services transaction ecosystem.


### Data Management for innovative fintech provider

Unlimint is an innovative fintech provider and licensed ecommerce acquirer. The company aims to make electronic payments convenient and highly secure for eCommerce businesses around the world. 
 
Challenge:
 
Unlimint needed to fine-tune data management between different departments and make the merchant onboarding process more flexible and time-efficient. Having evaluated a lot of vendors, their in-house team chose Salesforce as the perfect solution. In order to optimize their use of the platform, Unlimint looked for an experienced implementation partner in early 2020. The Client teamed up with Vention and entrusted our team with a prompt Sales Cloud launch.

### Curated meals for happy canines
Although one-third of all UK households own at least one dog, Britain’s $3.6B pet food industry was struggling to meet owners’ demand for nutritious options. Spotting an opportunity to create  a custom pet food subscription service, Nestlé-backed company Tails.com had a recipe for success.
The challenge
With thousands of five-star reviews, Tails.com needed an engineering partner to take their platform to the next level. Vention jumped straight in with four backend engineers.
Our impact


Our team improved the existing admin tool’s UI for more personalized customer experiences. 
Next up was a time-saving feature for generating printable labels, QR codes, and barcodes. 
We developed microservices from scratch, adding new functionality across cataloging, order prioritization, and billing management. 
Finally, we introduced build testing and an embedded monitoring service to speed up development and provide more visibility into app performance. These efforts boosted conversions and drove sustainable innovation for 200,000 Tails.com customers across 10 countries.



### Salesforce implementation from scratch for GiG
Despite specializing in innovative iGaming solutions, until recently, Gaming Innovation Group struggled to manage tens of thousands of leads via Google Docs and Forms.
The challenge
Drowning in documents, GiG needed a system overhaul. After a referral from our partner Webveto, Vention jumped on board  to help GiG reduce and automate document flow while updating their existing Salesforce CRM. A second phase of work focused on marketing automation to track form submissions and email campaigns with 360-degree visibility.
Our impact


We rolled out an initial workflow automation plan via Quip and Salesforce Surveys. Next, we cut time and costs by 30 percent and fully automated Google Form submission, collection, and analysis. 
We were then engaged for Jira integration with Salesforce CRM for automated project management and task sharing. 
These additional Salesforce features empowered the company to work smarter, reducing manual mistakes and increasing average speed-to-lead by 50 percent along the way.
