They provided us with complete confidence that every task and project would be handled thoroughly and on time.

We required the complete documentation of our code base for our Customer Portal, in addition to segments of code related to large critical projects and tools.

We received weekly updates and weekly visual representations of the documentation of our code base, on a project by project basis.

For this to be successful, we required the completion of code generation for a large subject of projects that were defined by our development team.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Weekly progress updates where we would review the newest batches of documentation, and either approve or make suggestions as to how to improve the AI's documentation (by providing it with more detailed explanations of what the code is intended to do).

A full documentation set of our desired code base was the end goal for us to consider this project a success.

They were incredibly timely and responsive to our needs.

We met on a consistent weekly basis and were always provided with new updates and changes after our previous weeks suggestion.

In addition, if there were mid-week changes, communication through Slack was effective and common.

I approached dualboot with a concept I want to bring to life.  Through the discovery process, we could map out a buyer's journey with a focus on the user experience.  I received a clickable demo and explainer videos to use in my fundraising and product development efforts.  The team took great notes, brought new ideas to the table, and brought a prototype of the project to life.  Where we started was very different from where we ended up, and in fact, it's better thanks to input from the team.

Collaboration with the OnTarget internal team to create and design a mobile application that provides end users the ability to complete daily tasks associated to client care. The main obective of the mobile application is to allow end users to quickly and efficiently complete required data collection for provided patient care as well as provide important information to increase care without the need to access OnTarget desktop web application. 

The application provides end users with a list of scheduled shifts from which data collection entry can be initiated in addition to clocking and out for services provided (EVV requirements). The schedule functionality enables users to edit existing shifts and create new shifts. The creation of a Notes feature allows users to complete notes that have not been started, notes started but not signed, review completed / signed notes and create unscheduled service notes. The creation of a Timesheets module that enables users to add time and sign / unsign timesheets. The inclusion of an Action Center module provided users the ability to review action items to be completed from service note to ensure compliance. Information based (client and user profile information) features provide important information for cleint care. Adding an offline mode for the application provides users assurance that clocking in and clocking out data is collected thoroughly and accurately. The application, in conjunction with OnTarget's main system, ensures security measures for all data following HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.

1. Provide an initial design for the mobile applicaiton based on a review of expected functionality.
2. Using a phased approach (the completion of 4 phases), create a working prototype that meets the requirements of provided feature functionality. This included collaboration with the OnTarget internal engineering team.
3. Assist in the deployment for beta testing directed to an identified user base.
4. Create and maintain application store accounts for release / deployment to production.
5. Finalize the project (in phases) to release to production users.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. Completion of deliverables within the estimated time frame.
2. Project phases are completed in accordance with the planned budget.
3. The final deliverables met the predefined quality standards through testing and reviews.
4. Customer satsifaction based on feedback provided by users and usability metrics.
5. Performance improvements that increased the efficency within the collaboraiton of teams.

The project manager assigned to our account was very transparent in the estimated delivery time as the collaboration of the front end and back end teams was critical in meeting the deliverables in a timely manner. Full transparency on progress and needs from the DualBoot team was routine and provided and scheduled, routine meetings to ensure success. Estimated delivery times were not met for the initial phase. However, after phase 1 of the project was delivered, great strides were taken to improve team collaboration resuting in a much improved delivery times. The later phases were delivered on time to over 90%. 

The project manager, along with the entire DualBoot team, were always very responisve to needs and collaboration. Because the front end and back end teams required complete collaboration and thorough communication, the teams work as one unit. The teamwork was impresive and improved over time.

The willingness and determination to improve team collaboration and dedication to the project impress us. The DualBoot team took ownership of their portion of the project often providing valuable input to the overall design and functionality based the end users eas of use. In short, the team very much cared for the outcome of the product instead of just providing a deliverable based on our suggestions only. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Dualboot Partners could have done differently?

Although very commendable, any improvements or ideas for better UI - UX functionality and design, to ensure those are communicated with the entire team before implementing. Some changes to the application were made unknowingly to the OnTarget team until seen within testing environments. These were improvements but not part of the expected deliverable.

Our resource worked directly with us as part of a small, agile team. We had a weekly sprint candence with daily check-ins. Our resource was able to break down large problems into smaller stories with reasonable estimates, and work with a high degree of independence to complete tasks. WIth a weekly cadence, we were able to be responsive to ever-changing priorities.

There are over 700+ KPIs that a user can select to visually see their data.  Additionally, other verticals were created to give CRE owners and operators the ability to create Asset & Debt scenarios to determine what type of equity they could project from the assets.

Taking the project over from a 3rd party vendor and alligning with the goals of the business leaders to more robustly develop the project.

The team at DBP are always responsive and come with a positive attitude. The deliverables were met as timely as possible given the scope of work. Whenever scope creep occurred the team at DBP were honest and upfront about when it was going to occur and why. Software development will always have some level of adjustment, but this team treated us as a partner throughout the project and did everything they could to ensure a good experience.

After working with DBP over the past 6 years on multiple projects it is easy to say that what makes them unique is their ability to communicate clearly, kindly, and accurately with the customer. Even if things have gone slightly awry, they are honest and true to their word and will find solutions to issues, should they arise.

DBP could have done a little more to ensure that knowledge transfer from a long-term team lead was going to another team lead with the same level of expertise. We lost some time during that transition, but DBP did help amend the issue with other resources.

We contracted Dualboot after taking an open source product to market where we weren't fully vested in the IP. We were looking to create our own ERP based on the things we had learned over a decade of building a flooring business and commercialize our expertise for use by others. With this we wanted to ensure it looked good, it felt user friendly, and it was able to scale from a small business to an enterprise level. 

We began with UI/UX design of the first module and worked that way up until today on being design driven first before development when creating new features or redesigning original features. This helped us have a clear picture of what we were building before we built it.

The next 18 months was a clear roadmap of developing module by module to complete our full package. We started with the sales side of the application which had the most groundwork that had to be laid for the application then moved through each module until we completed the application in whole. 

Our target was to build an MVP of our application with all four major modules integrated and functioning to our customers standards.

Product development is my personal form of success. I need to see, touch, and test drive the outcomes to understand the progress we've made and determine if any redirection needs to happen. We had longer periods but we typically released something on a two week sprint whether in design phases or development to make sure we were on the right track and making progress.

Project Management was a work in progress due to the size of the project but they were extremely responsive to each of our requests or needs. We worked with a great team throughout the project that helped us map each phase to ensure we could deliver what we needed and if priorities changed or something was blocking other things they were able to identify the bottlenecks and help us get past them.

The following functionalities are requested: 

• Heat Index and adjusted Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT): A function of the app that advises on heat danger in a specific area (geolocated) with algorithms that calculate WBGT and Heat Index. This function will require an algorithm to calculate and predict WBGT and Heat Index. 
• Timers: A function of the app that will give the user the ability to create in-app timers, alerts, and notifications of when to hydrate, work, and rest. 
• Symptoms: Allows the user of the app to identify symptoms of heat strain. 
• First Aid: Provide interactive, basic first aid information for possible cases of heat-related injuries.

Currently, the project is still under development. However, we are already able to see how the various inputs are used in calculating an adjusted Wet Bulb Globe Temperature, and a worker's heat stress level determined based on their work level

Thus far, all deliverables have been provided on time and within budget. We are quite pleased with the level of communication, their thoughtfulness into how the user interface is configured, and their focus on getting us the most comprehensive app by the agreed upon beta launch date.

They excel in distilling the complexities of scientific calculations into the app interface. This app requires a mix of both user-inputted and live weather data (pulled from local weather stations based on one's GPS coordinates). They are innovative in their approach as to how these various elements fit together to arrive at a sensible heat stress risk level calculation.
